• Hannah (6/5): Pleasant - We had a pleasant stay at this property, with several standout features that made our visit enjoyable. The location is great, conveniently situated near local attractions and essential amenities. The beds were very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep, and the house itself was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including a range of useful food staples. The owners were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns, which made the overall experience smooth and welcoming. One area that could be improved is the condition of the carpet. It appeared quite old, stained, and in need of replacement. As I was traveling with my 12-month-old, I was hesitant to let her sit or play on the carpeted areas, which was a bit of a concern during our stay. The home was generally clean upon our arrival and well-stocked with amenities, which we appreciated. However, we encountered a colony of ants in both the kitchen and bathroom areas. While we understand that these issues can sometimes occur unexpectedly and may not be anyone’s direct fault, it was surprising that this wasn't identified prior to check-in, as it seems likely the cleaner would have noticed it. That said, the owners were very responsive and promptly offered to send the cleaner the following day to address the issue. Unfortunately, upon returning to the property after the cleaner's visit, we found that some of the specific areas where I had mentioned ants were present had not been thoroughly cleaned, and I ended up addressing these myself. Additionally, the bathtub had not been properly cleaned, and I needed to remove hair left by previous guests before using it.
• Hughes (10/5): Genuinely amazing! - Bed rooms are an absolute 100 out of 10! Amazing environment and the comfiest beds you will ever get in an accommodation. Kitchen is huge! Packed with all different kinds of cooking utensils! We never ran out of room for preparing breakfast. The parking layout began slightly confusing, we're still not sure if parking infront of the garage was the right call. But apart from that, perfect and highly recommend!!

• Melita (9/5): Easy, comfortable and spacious property to stop off in Albury. - I liked how close it was to town! How spacious and clean it was. Lots of room to spread out and perfect for people who would like multiple rooms but still hang together. The supermarket is just up the road - so getting breakfast provisions was no problem. Loved the history of the property, A little bit of street noise in the front rooms.

Large venue and great price for what you have for a hotel room same value. Curry odour strong throughout the house and could not open some windows to air. Not so pleasant unfortunately.
• Eloise (8/5): Great place to relax after a long drive - Beautiful property with a vintage feel to it. The hot tub is a fantastic feature and great to relax after a long day of driving. Very comfortable beds. Nice and warm indoors. Tiled floors downstairs need a very thorough mop, can get noisy with the main road but quietens down later at night, and doesn't disrupt sleep.

• Kim (2/5): Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, on a busy main road and noisy. Photographs can be provided to ba - Lovely old cottage which with a little TLC could be beautiful. It needs a good renovation. No globes in the chandeliers, dirty cups in the cupboard, dirty in the cupboards and cutlery drawers, oven filthy, spa filthy, the BBQ was a disgrace and could not use it. The downstairs mattress was so soft it was like sleeping on a sponge.

• Karen (7/5): Comfortable - Very comfortable Road noise was terrible. Did not know it was on a main road. The oven had been left with tray of leftover crumbs and cheese. The spa pool was dirty. The getting in and out of bath was very slippery and dangerous even with the mat supplied.

It was an older property with some aged aspects that need replacing (carpets, lounge, bathroom tiles/bath and shower). There was also a musky wet smell in the bathroom and courtyard.

• Danielle (5/5): Comfortable but noisy. - The host was accommodating of our late arrival and kindly put on the heater and light for us for our arrival in the cold and dark. The downstairs bedroom, where my husband and I slept, was very close to the main road that it's situated on and the noise from the cars kept us awake all night. It seemed like a very busy Saturday night with races going on, loud engines and unfortunately a neighbouring house alarm at 3.45am. It was the first night of our roadtrip and we were exhausted by it the next day.
