Guest Reviews
Rien !
- louise (9/5): Amazing townhouse, best location - The house is great size, loved the quirkyness! Location is everything,. Full kitchen and living room, wooden table is amazing btw! great for groups or familys! the host is anazing easy to reach on wats app! tiop bed room is stunning . cleaned well, and grear towels and bedding . everything was great
more of a suggestion hooks in little bathroom so can hang towel or clothes. xxx
- Gregory (10/5): - The location was outstanding! We were right in the heart of activity downtown and Lou was an amazing host. Our other place fell through on our day of arrival. Ruth was gracious enough to confirm our stay that same day, late Easter Sunday, and worked with her family to make sure it was perfect and ready to go for us. She was so communicative throughout our stay as well. It was perfect.

- karine (9/5): Le top 👌 - L’emplacement , le quartier, l’appartement cosy et chaleureux, le balcon Rien
- Patrick (7/5): Great place to be where the action is! - in and were able to accommodate an early check-were waiting at the door when we arrived. They reached out several times both before and during our stay to check on our needs. All items in the house worked. The place was very comfortable and convenient. It was in the middle of the Temple Bar areas which made it easy to walk to restaurants for meals. I was surprised at the number of
steps. The place has plenty of room but it is spread out on three floors since the ceiling height was 12 feet there are extra steps between each floor. This place is not for someone who is out of shape or not mobile. There was plenty of heat but it took us till the second night to determine the right temperature for sleeping.
Didn’t realize how much noise there would be from the street at night. Be cautious if you’re bothered by noise.
- MEGAN (5/5): The location of the townhouse is great and we had a wonderful time in Dublin. - The location of the townhouse was great since it is located in a very popular area of Dublin. The host (Lou) was very responsive, and we were met at the townhouse by Aaron. The washer/dryer did not work well for us. The washer takes 2 hours or more to wash one very small load and the dryer component of the combination W/D basically does not work. Clothes need to be hung up to dry. The multiple levels (lots of steps) could be an issue for those with mobility issues, but it was not a problem for us. The primary bedroom is located on the top floor and the bathroom for this room is located on the level below. The 2nd bathroom is quite small and is shared by the other 2 bedrooms. We had 7 adults in our group, but we made this work. Showers and use of water in kitchen or other bathroom had to be staggered if someone was taking a shower as they would either be scalded or water pressure changed. Make sure to bring a sound machine to drown out the noise in the street below due to crowds and musicians. We did not do any cooking in the kitchen. There are limited pots/pans available, and they looked old/worn.
- Pierre-Louis (8/5): Saint Sylvestre à Dublin - L’emplacement, l’accueil et le charme de la grande pièce Le bruit de la rue, les salles de bain.
- Agueda (10/5): Nos ha encantado! Lou super atenta y amable! Volveremos! -
- Kari (10/5): Great place clean comfortable, and excellent location. - Can’t say enough good things about this place. location is stellar! You’re right in the middle of everything! Walking distance to all the tourist spots. Great restaurants/coffee shops, right down stairs, along with the grocery store around the block.
The host, Lou was amazing! The Wi-Fi went out at one point and she hand-delivered her hotspot for us at 8 o’clock at night! She also left us beer, wine, and assortment of sodas. Such a comfortable place.
Thanks, Lou for a great Stay! ❤️☘️ I loved everything about it
- Bethan (10/5): Great stay for family city break - Great location
Plenty of room for family
Very well stocked Need earplugs for night time but we expected that so not an issue
- Kate (10/5): Beautiful boho charm in the heart of Dublin - The house is centrally located with the main door opening into a charming street filled with cafes, bars, restaurants and beautiful shops. It is decorated in a stylish boho vibe, is clean and comfortable. The beds were great, the views from the windows over life in the city was charming and we were serenaded by talented buskers every evening from the street below. We didn’t not like anything about the property. The accommodation is over 3 sets of six rising stairs, which was fine for us as it gave great separation between bedrooms and living areas, but for some this might not work. You are right in the centre of a bustling buzzing area of the city, which for us added charm, but if you want peace and quiet, you may not enjoy the vibe.
- Drewisis (6/5): Charming space on a lively street. - The townhouse was certainly charming and well decorated. The location was fantastic for accessing trains, shopping and restaurants. We felt safe where we were. The master bedroom was very spacious. The location is definitely centrally located. It is the heart of the busiest nightlife street in Dublin. Not ideal when it’s hot, no AC which requires windows to be open. Bedrooms windows overlook the Main Street and the noise all night was intolerable. If you plan to be out enjoying yourself in this crowd this is the perfect location for you. If you have young children and would like to sleep - I would think twice. Owners were very kind and apologetic, but I would have liked to know before booking. To be fair I’m not from Ireland and was not aware just how hopping Drury St is.
Upon arrival the townhouse was not ready & cleaners were working. Even thought we dropped our bags to give them time, they did a subpar job.
- William (10/5): Excellent location with a great host. - The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, with great restaurants, shops, and public transport nearby. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything so smooth and enjoyable. The space itself was just right for our group of 8—clean, comfortable, and well laid out. We had plenty of room to relax and never felt cramped. Highly recommend for any group visiting Dublin! Nothing!
- Katja (10/5): A lovely place to stay in an amazing location! - The location is incredible, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere! The property itself was much bigger than we expected based on photos, and it was really nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Thank you again! I didn't receive an email from Booking.com with check out instructions which could have been useful
- Deborah (8/5): Very good - The location is amazing. A little noisy on weekends but foam earplugs did the trick. Location! Having the whole family under the same roof. Common areas to hang out.
- Colette (9/5): Lovely property in an excellent location with great hosts - Location is excellent. Host superb. House has everything you would need No tea towels or dish cloths. Freezer didn’t work.
- Trent (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, easy check-in and so much space!
- Marci (9/5): We only wished we could have stayed longer. - The location is absolutely perfect. The best home base for exploring Dublin. It was very spacious and cozy. Lou was a wonderful hostess. She was welcoming with lots of great recommendations for nearby things to do. The house had everything you could possibly need & then some with extra touches like tea, cookies & crisps. Being right in the center of it all, it can get noisy in the evenings. Nothing that couldn’t be covered up by a sound machine app playing some ambient noise.
- Lien (9/5): Best location and host ever! - The property is in a perfect location, very central. The host was amazing and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The property had everything we needed and was very cozy and comfortable. We will be returning as we had a wonderful stay.
- Cathy (10/5): Loved staying here and hope to return soon. - The home had amazing character and charm. Located in the heart of the city with everything needed in walking distance. Tons of space for a group of 7 friends. The host and welcoming person were very friendly and helpful.
- Stephanie (8/5): Massive space in the midst of the action - Amazing flat in a central location. We loved the neighborhood and the living space and bedrooms were comfortable. Especially the top floor primary bedroom. We spent our evenings after dinner just watching the people on the streets below. Many great restaurants and pubs, a grocer, and St George’s Arcade directly below us meant lots of shopping. The host was lovely too. Stairs and noise. I would absolutely stay here again. But we did have the challenge of climbing stairs. Two in our party are older, so that was a concern for them. They slept at first floor level (US second floor). But their bathroom was on the next landing up. So about 8 steps up from bedrooms. The main living space was another 8 steps up. It had the other bathroom. So the primary bedroom was a full floor away from its bathroom. Also, the neighborhood was NOISY into the early hours of the morning. Just people talking mostly. The pub down the block is popular and even on a weeknight the street around it was full of people. Windows blocked a lot of the sound but we slept with earplugs. Due to stairs and noise I wouldn’t recommend for senior adults
