- Gigi (10/5): Great quick stay in the heart of it all. - Location was fantastic Nothing
- Julia (9/5): Perfect - We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was lovely! Location is perfect, The room was very comfortable, quiet and spacious, bed was very comfy, and the views from the window wow! Nothing, but just as a tip to have maybe a water fountain next to coffee machine in the hallway and full length mirror in the room would be handy
- Aija (10/5): -
- Mhamed (10/5): Se tutte le strade portano a Roma, beh tutte devono portare a soggiornare qui. - Lo staff è veramente gentile e disponibile oltre che pazzesca la stanza con vista .
- Tracey (10/5): Beautiful stay in Rome - I loved the location it was a great place to stay beside all of the sights.
- Erik (10/5): - Room was exactly as described. Felt like you could touch the colosseum. Room was small, but enough space for two bags and two people. Bed was comfortable to sleep in and clean. Bathroom is tight, but useable. AC was able to cool the room well.
Instructions to get in were unclear at first. Had to search a while to find the info to get in the building. Once in there was no problems. On our way out the door to the suite had been broken in, felt un-easy but not the fault of the host at all.
Walked to the Train station and it took about 20 minutes with luggage.
Stayed here on our last night in Italy. Was the perfect end to our trip

- Gomes (10/5): - We recently had the pleasure of staying at Elysiuim Suites for a long weekend. The property is really authentic and in a beautiful location next to a park with stunning views of the collosium.
The room was impeccably clean with everything you need, the staff arranged champagne on arrival at my request and this was accommodated at short notice.
The staff were so professional and polite, we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome and would return in a heartbeat.
- Joel (10/5): - Muy buen lugar y limpio. 10 de 10

- Carlos Illich (2/5): - “The worst hotel experience in Rome”
This has undoubtedly been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.
• There is no reception, nobody to receive you, and the place is poorly marked, making it very difficult to find.
• The entire place smells strongly of cigarette smoke, the elevator is out of service, and the rooms are located on the fifth floor, which makes the stay extremely uncomfortable.
• The most alarming issue was the staff: a person (of Asian origin) who only appeared for the “checkout” arrived earlier than agreed, with an arrogant and rude attitude. He started taking photos of me without my consent, even of my passport, and threatened to call the “bad police” if I didn’t leave immediately.
This behavior is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns.
I strongly advise against staying here under any circumstances.
- SARA (10/5): -
- Georgia O'Malley (7/5): - Great location and amazing view! Short walk to the colloseum and great restaurants and bars. Shower doesn't get very hot.
The walls are thin and you can hear the staff have conversations in the little sitting area.

- Karen (6/5): Good views, adequate room with ac. - View of colosseum No one to greet. Got stuck in elevator and the person who we called for help hung up on us. The lady and young staff members were very polite and helpful though.
- Nana (5/5): It was okay - The location is great with such a wonderful view of the colosseum. The hot water was non existent and no mirror in the bedroom. Whilst this may not be a pain if you are not into make up but if you are probably bring your own mirror or go to somewhere that does.
- Hayley (10/5): Great location, clean room, modern bathroom and shower and a beautiful view. - Everything you need!
- viktoriya (8/5): Great for an overnight stay, could be difficult for proper rest - Great views, easy to get to Hard to get a fulls night rest, you can hear everyone coming and going at all hours of the night
- Maria (8/5): - The location was brilliant, next to a gorgeous park and of course the Colosseum.
Bed was extremely comfortable I slept the best I have in long time!
Quiet
Restaurants and supermarkets about 5-10 mins walk away. Trevi Fountain not far either, and the metro next to colosseum.
Clean room and bathroom, like that the plug sockets are next to the bed and there was free slippers to use. Mini fridge also.
WiFi very easy to connect using the qr code.
Owners were friendly.
I like the Italian feel of the whole building! Top (5th) floor which means either lots of stairs or an extremely old elevator!
Coffee machine is not in the room, but in the communal hallway.
No hair conditioner supply, just shampoo, soap bar and body lotion.
The view of the Colosseum was there, but we did have to stretch outside the balcony to see it.... (Our room didn't have it directly out the window view)
Shower is a little difficult to use, oddly shaped and not very powerful.
- Chanit (9/5): Enjoyed it very much! Staff was lovely and location very convinence. - Good location we walk and scooter to landmarks very easy. The room was very clean and lovely views. The staff was super super nice and offered for the room service every single day. Everytime we got back the room always done and very clean. Air-Con super cool which very nice in a hot country. The shower was a little bit too small but manageable.
- Abdulla (10/5): -
- Luca (9/5): -
- Tarun Tolia (9/5): - Staff was super nice. They cleaned the room everyday. Location. And of course, the view. The bathroom was a bit tight (door wouldn't open all the way). This can be overlooked if you spend most of your time outside.
- Sergio (10/5): Perfecto - La limpieza, al lado del coliseo, buena zona tranquila
- Courtney (4/5): - The property was very clean however we booked thinking we had a view of the colosseum because it is not clear and didn’t really give us any other options and we actually ended up in what we called a cupboard due to NO window AT ALL!!!
It was our first time in Rome and booked thinking we would have a lovely view in our room so that was a huge let down. It did ruin it for us and people should be aware of exactly what they are booking

- Paris (10/5): Perfect spot to stay in Rome! - We had a beautiful stay in the Elysium Suites Colosseo! So close to the colosseum just 5 minutes walk!! Beautiful view from our room and amazing aircon for those hot summer days. Comfortable bed, great amenities, clean bathroom. Would definitely recommend staying here! The hot water wasn’t the best but not an issue in summer.
- Teisha (10/5): -
- David (7/5): -
- silan (8/5): Decent - Great location with a stunning view of the Colosseum. You’ll need to drive or grab a scooter to get anywhere else. Room was small but clean, which was fine since we were out most of the time. Staff were friendly but a bit passive.
- Taylor (10/5): Amazing Location - The location of this property could not be better. Highly recommend booking. The view of the colosseum from the room was amazing. Walking distance to everything. The town of Monti was beautiful. Highly recommend.
- Reem (1/5): Bad - The view Soooo bad it’s scary home 👻 bad elevator it’s never even visit this place again
- Brooke (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. - Me and my partner loved our stay. The room was so spacious. The view was unbelievable! we had the perfect view of the colosseum. We were in room 5 and had a deluxe room.
The bed is super comfy 😍 we found the location was perfect and wasn’t far from the main landmarks. We used the electric ‘lime’ scooters to get around and we saw so much more because of this! They were very reasonable priced. The staff on reception were very friendly. They also let us leave our cases until we were flying later that day The bathroom was a little small and the water took a a little longer than expected to heat but it was still lovely!!
- Fernandez (10/5): loved my stay ! - the view is phenomenal- location was great !
- Courtney (10/5): So close to the Colosseum! - Epic views, room was great and staff were very helpful and accomodating. Not much we didn’t like. It suited me perfectly
- Kay (7/5): Good - Very quiet neighbourhood. Loved our little balconette so we could look across at the colosseum. It is quite a long way from anything.
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (5/5): Passable - The location was good They didn’t change the towels or clean the room. Additionally, the noise from the other rooms in the suites were terrible! We were kept awake most of the time, as there is such poor noise insulation.
- Natalia (9/5): Superb -
- Nadezhda (7/5): Fantastic view and location, but don't be misled - Excellent view, great location, straightforward check in, comfortable bed. Was able to get it last minute for a reasonable price. Secure building with codes to open. Room was quite small (rm.4), poorly soundproofed. Upon opening the door in the morning, the housekeeping lady was right in front of you, so not much privacy. Aircon was working, but loudly hummed, which they tried to fix after reporting. 'Suite' and 'B&B' are misleading. They are neither suites, nor is there breakfast. Overpriced if you're paying above and beyond.
- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional - Great little room for a quick weekend away, Rome is a fantastic place to explore and being this close to the collesum is fantastic, a morning coffee and walk around the collesum before going to explore more of the city was just great, slightly cramped bathroom but you can deal with it for a couple of nights. Small bathroom area
- Palamarevic (10/5): Beautiful hotel and location and will definitely be recommending this location to other people. - Great staff and beautiful location The pool kept shooting air bubbles and making a lot of noise. Got to the point where it was so loud I could hear it over the AC being on.
- Lenny (4/5): Disappointing - The middle aged female worker there have no boundaries. She try to educate the customer what kind of cup to use and demand the customer to pay council tax in advance cuz that’ll make her work easier.
- Shana (9/5): Excellent stay in a perfect location! - Perfect location, wonderful view from our room, the lady who cleaned our room was so helpful and friendly. Bathroom was a little small but very nicely updated
- Teresa (10/5): Staff was so friendly! Beds were so comfortable room was so clean. View was amazing! Best stay ever - Staff was so friendly! Beds were so comfortable room was so clean. View was amazing! Best stay Iv ever had N/a
- Bethan (8/5): Lovely place. Shame the check in left a bitter taste - The views from room 6 are stunning. The bed was really comfortable and the air con was amazing after a day in the Rome heat. The area is really lovely also. I spoke on message with somebody before arrival and was told it’s fine to check in when we arrived in Rome. We got to the property at 12:30, very hot after walking in the heat from termini and was met with such abruptness from the lady cleaning the rooms. She told us we were too early, and her boss wasn’t the one cleaning the rooms so shouldn’t have told us we would be ok to check in. To be honest we just wanted to leave our bags which she allowed but when my partner asked if he could use the bathroom he was again abruptly told no. Baring in mind we paid £200 for one night and you’d expect better, there is zero reason to greet people with that poor attitude and simply explaining the situation would have been enough.
Also I’ve seen lots of reviews about no hot water and we also had no hot water. We didn’t care because the heat in Rome was something else but not sure why after months of reviews on this the water is still freezing?
- Callie (6/5): - Hotel is centrally located in easy to access downtown area and historic sites. Had the room by the front door and could continuously hear people in and out. Also, the room had an air conditioner that continually made noise even when off. Otherwise room was clean, but just a small room with minimal accommodations.
- Ariella (8/5): Very good -
- Summer (9/5): Amazing views of the Colosseum - Absolutely loved the view of the Colosseum. The location is perfect, too, a short walk to the Colosseum and in a neighborhood that makes you feel like a local. Lots of great non-touristy restaurants, bars and cafes a close walk away. Because it was a B&B, it would have been great to have breakfast included.
- Kathryn (10/5): Lovely stay and highly recommend - Amazing views and central.
The guy was really friendly and the peppery was easy to find.
They even let us leave our bags as we had a late flight Nothing. Was perfect for what we paid.
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing everything! Can't recommend this place enough! N/A
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Really clean hotel, good location of the city, I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Lovely staff too. I feel it should’ve been made clearer there’s no actual window in the room I stayed in - not just a window into the hallway. As for the high price I probably would’ve picked a hotel with an actual window if I had known.
- Sadeq (9/5): Great view new room old building - Great view New
- Kalkidan (10/5): Very comfy - The property was beautiful. The view of the colosseum was the cherry on top. Everything was clean the bathroom was really nice too. I would def stay there again if I end up back in Rome. There was a weird smell that came from the shower strain. Linda smelled like a sewer. Wasn’t pleasant when you walked in the bathroom sometimes. The staff was really nice but not at the front desk ever but you are able to contact the host via what’s app. The only other thing the room was missing was a full length mirror.
- Kirstie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful view of the Colosseum from the room! Small space but comfortable for our needs. - The view from the apt was amazing! It’s a great location to explore the city. We only had 1 night for this visit but walked everywhere! Nothing- it was great!
- Aghedo-ejideh (10/5): Amazing location, quaint elevator and views - The room was amazing! The location was great. Literally 5 minutes to the Colosseum and the views amazing at every time. It is also not too far from the town within walkable distance to the town and busstops are also not far away, although the buses in Rome are not so reliable. The elevator was a highlight. We loved taking the elevator everytime. It is a quaint old thing, but just amazing a great experience all to together. There is nothing not to like, although the area could be a bit noisy with people constantly ringing at the door, but then it is an old building and nothing to do with the hotel. The bathroom is also a little small but very neat and functional. Overall, it was great value for money.
- Carla (7/5): Nice but overpriced - Location & balcony view, staff was nice, room was clean (new towels), comfy bed/pillows Quality is not like on the pictures - feels low budget, walls are dirty.
No sound proof
No breakfast
Overpriced!
- Margaryan (10/5): Exceptional - The location, the view...
- Jahaira (10/5): Exceptional - Excelente
- Pavel (8/5): Very good - Nice location of the appartment, clean and new interier. My room nr. 1 was close to the entrance which makes quite noise, the window was facing to the hall in front of appartment.
- Dania (6/5): Pleasant -
- Emlyn (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathy (8/5): Perfect location to see the sights of Rome - Location was superb, great view and very clean They were working in the water pipes outside so first night we had no water and then the rest of the time the water was luke warm.
- Dan (8/5): Great. - Great location overlooking the colosseum, in a nice part of town. Room was clean and comfortable. Water in the bathroom was a bit temperamental, and shower not very warm.
- Florence (1/5): I would never go back to this place and it ruin my impression of accomodation in Rome. - The only good thing about the property was the location being close to the Colosseum. The property is dirty (nothing like the photos and the photos definitely have been photoshop!). There was absolutely no sound proof from the corridor and we didn’t sleep for 3 nights. The staff was rude when we only asked about if there is a taxi stand near by and her response is “you will need to do your own research as we are not a hotel”.
- Charlotte (5/5): Very overpriced - The view Not very clean and maintained
Cold water only in the shower
The room seems to be kind of luxurious on the pictures but irl it’s very cheap (the walls are dirty, the bedsheets and the towels are rough…)
- Larysa (8/5): Very good -
- Sevdalina (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect - 5 min walking to the Colosseo , it was extremely clean in the room and also the staff was polite and helpful.
- Hugo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexfavorov (9/5): Superb - Great location, nice view, quiet area
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Location had a colesseum view. Great access to most places
- Robin (5/5): Not a place I would stay again - It isn’t a hotel and there was no breakfast if it was a B&B
I didn’t like much about the property. It was not what I expected or where I was expecting it to be either. I am 5 foot four and wear a petite size 6 and I was unable to turn around in the shower. There were no windows. Room was right by the front door and elevator. very noisy
- Rama (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - View from our window of the Coliseum with beautiful "Umbrella Pines" in the foreground - super nice.
- Miriam (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn’t have been happy with our choice to stay here during our trip to Rome. Clean, conveniently located and exceptional views.
- Lauren (8/5): It was beautiful - My room had amazing views of the colosseo. It was beautiful Maybe more modern?? I’m not sure I liked everything
- Nirtika (9/5): Superb -
- Darryl (10/5): What an amazing week in Rome, so much to see and do and EAT !! Will definitely return in the future. - Fantastic property in a quiet location just outside of a park that leads to the colosseum, the room was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location and stunning view from the room. Cannot fault the property at all.
- Chloe (10/5): - We had such a nice stay! The staff is very helpful and extremely polite. Communicated with us from check in to check out. Would
Highly recommend. Thanks Elysium Colosseo!
- Josephine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexis (9/5): Superb - Great views of the Colosseum and friendly staff! Would recommend!
- Monica (8/5): Great - The close proximity to everything Check out is early than most.
- David (8/5): Great - Location great with view of the coliseum which was literally less than 400m away. Room was a bit small but ideal for a couple of nights stay
- Vale (6/5): Elysium Suites Colosseum - Excellent location. Nice room, clean and with the perfect view. The premises. The building was old and needs maintenance. In the room, there were no tables, no wardrobe, and very little space in the bathroom.
- Katie (9/5): Very enjoyable - Lovely to be greeted by the property owner who explained facilities to us. Offered utensils and coffee in the main lobby area. Felt very safe in the property. Large comfy bed, and great view and location. Would definitely recommend or visit again. Only thing was luke warm shower water but would be absolutely fine during hotter months.
- Paul (10/5): What a gem - The location was in a fantastic position, from the 5th floor you could see all over the colomuseum and other points of interest you may wish to visit, the little cafe in the side street was a life saver after the long walks smashing bloke who owns it, didn't speak English me no Italian, but somehow we got by so friendly. The apartment was immaculate just right for us and not noisy at all, a tad on the small size but ain't for living in it is it Nothing to not like
- Valentin (8/5): Very good -
- Valentin (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (9/5): Superb - Location is great with great view from the room and even greater view from the rooftop. That was at least accessible on the night I arrived.
Communication was clear with staff via messages and self check in went smooth.
