Guest Reviews
- Robert (7/5): We had a great stay at the Cottage it had all we needed. - We have stayed at this Cottage before and it suited our needs. Able to walk to the hotel for a meal. Boat ramp and shops not far away. The cottage had everything we needed for a fishing holiday. The fly screen on the front door came off the hinge first time opened. Someone had tried to fix it but hadn't worked. Not a good look and was annoying during our stay.
- John (10/5): Home away from home - The cottage was home away from home just relaxed ,
Easy to find and close to town , really enjoyed and hope to rebook in the very near future No dislikes to this accomadation

- Tracey (5/5): Dissatisfied though thought it could be teally good as the place was well equiped kitchen wise and very clean - I thought the property was close to everything and was kitchen wise well equipped and very clean There were no pillows no blankets no tea towels no towels
the owner messaged us one day before and said there was no Linen so we had to rush out and by sheets and pillow slips in Geraldton. I would have thought there’d at least be pillows and a blanket . we are traveling light by hire car from Perth Airport and booked it on booking.com
It made it difficult for us as we needed a proper bed to sleep in.
What are international travellers or anybody who isn’t traveling motor home meant tondo in that situation
- Michael (8/5): Great base for a fishing trip - will be back - Good location - great for a fishing trip - plenty of parking for boats at the back Water pressure was poor for the shower
The electric cook top would not turn off - had to turn off at the breaker - needs attention- up grade
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Nadine (7/5): Simple no fuss cottage, great for family/friends stay. - Great location, communication with host, front verandah - table chairs BBQ, fridge, freezer space, washing machine and clothes line, loads of parking area. Felt more noting that all BYO linen is required. Sheets, pillow, doona, bath towels, bath mat, tea towels.
- Sarina (9/5): the cottage was great , location was perfect , the only thing the boat didint fit in the yard -
- Haydn (8/5): Very good - Very good Can’t complain
- David (1/5): At $200 per night there would be better options. - It looked tidy on the outside The house was not clean and smelt mouldy. The lounge suite and carpet were stained and covered in dog hair. The carpet was not vacuumed prior to arrival. The rooms felt dirty. All the kitchen utensils had to be washed prior to use and the kitchen table was unstable and sticky. Extremely noisy neighbours.
- Jordan (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (10/5): The locals are friendly -
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location walking distance to everything Bloody flies
- Debra (8/5): Character cottage. - Tastefully remodelled. Easy walk to the beach and shops. Great for a last-minute getaway. Floors had character, tad uneven, and a few gaps. The price was right to put up with its quirks.
- Richard (7/5): Great price, excellent location - Very close to harbour and pubs / restaurants.
Quiet area.
Private parking. I found it too hot at times, more so in the bedroom but can hardly blame the just for the weather.
It is overall a little tired but at $100 per night it represents great value for money considering I paid $195 per night for an almost identical property in Kalbarri.
- Lind (10/5): I loved it I wish I could have stayed longer😊 - Location is fantastic There was nothing to dislike
- Jodie (7/5): A perfect little getaway cottage for our stay. Just wasn’t long enough 😁 - Great location and facilities of the cottage. The bathroom needs a curtain or blind and an exhaust fan.As it gets very hot in there
- Bec (8/5): Great trip - Great Location and great for having boat It was a hot time of year and the back room had no fan or aircon. Making sleeping a little uncomfortable.
- Shenelle (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Jono (8/5): Was Awsome to spend Christmas up in shark bay like to thank Amy for being a pleasure to deal with -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Location was ideal for us as we were there for a week of fishing and had a boat with us so being able to drive just down the road to the boat ramp was ideal. Set up is great for a fishing holiday Hot and cold water in the shower is plumbed back to front which meant we had mainly cold showers until we figured it out on the last day. Didnt effect us much as the water was still 'warm' and we had been out in the sun all day.
Even though we new we had to provide our own linen I didn't realise that also meant bath mat and tea towels.
- Rhiannan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - Was a nice cosy little cottage. The house was clean and tidy with everything you need. Much cleaner than a few other similar places we have stayed so credit to the cleaner. Will happily stay here again. Nice quick walk down to the beach and shops also. Neighbours are quiet. Loved our stay. Not the fault of the owners as its stated that guests must clean dishes after use but when using the dishes and cutlery most of what we wanted to use was dirty (had not been washed properly by previous guests) and needed cleaning prior to use. Just an FYI for future guests to maby check/wash dishes prior to use.
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Tarryn (10/5): We had a great time and the host is a really nice person to deal with. I would really recommend to stay here - Clean and well equipped .
