Odalarda anahtar/kilit olmamasına rağmen güvenlik ve mahremiyet açısından sorun yaratmadı. Aynı kapıdan girilen tek bir konut. İlanda görülen göle bakan bahçeyi kullanamıyorsun.

• Hajdu (2/5): Ez a hely nem alkalmas arra, hogy vendéglátóhelyként üzemeljen - A kilátás a szálláshelyről igazán különleges volt, gyönyörűen látszottak a környező hegyek és a tó. Bár a városra közvetlen panoráma nem nyílt. Idős szüleimmel és kisgyermekemmel érkeztem, ezért előzetesen többször jeleztem a tulajdonosnak, hogy számunkra fontos, hogy ne kelljen sokat gyalogolni és lépcsőzni. Ennek ellenére nem tájékoztatott róla, hogy a ház a lehető legmesszebb esik a parkolótól. Így minden indulásnál és érkezésnél min 25 -25 perces sétát kellett tenni, ami a család számára rendkívül megterhelő volt. A szállás belső kialakítása sem volt megfelelő: az apartman alatt lakó tulajdonos a mi főbejáratunkon át közlekedik a saját részébe, ami nagyon kellemetlen és zavaró. A szobáinknak ennek ellenére még kulcsa sem volt. Emellett láncdohányos, a füst felszállt a lakrészünkbe, és minden ruhánk cigarettaszagú lett – ez teljesen elfogadhatatlan, különösen kisgyerekkel. Érkezésünkkor hosszasan sorolta a ház több oldalas szabályzatát, ami nagyon túlzó, miközben a ház állapota elhanyagolt, régi, dohos, hideg és zajos volt. Az első éjszaka konkrétan megfagytunk, vastag utcai ruhában aludtunk. A padló recseg, a legkisebb zaj is felébreszt mindenkit. A legkisebb szoba mellett van a WC, így minden lehúzás zavaró. A korlátok balesetveszélyesek, ami kisgyerekkel különösen aggasztó. Összességében a szállás számunkra rendkívül csalódást keltő volt: nem kaptuk meg azt, amit előzetesen ígértek, a körülmények kényelmetlenek és egészségtelenek voltak. A Booking felé panasszal fogok élni, mert ez a hely nem alkalmas arra, hogy vendéglátóhelyként üzemeljen.

Brak prywatności. Częste wizyty gospodyni w pokojach (w celu podlania kwiatów) nawet podczas naszej nieobecności. Zapach papierosów, które gospodyni paliła na tarasie poniżej uprzykrzał siedzenie na naszym tarasie.

We stayed 4 days and (thanks to this house) we could experience all the beauty of Hallstatt. Ruth is a nice host, She gave us nice coffee and organc tomatoes from her garden. View from the balcony is amazing. Place is very clean and quite. We had a very nice, relaxing 4 days there. Very detailed, long instructions about how to stay at home and obedience to the house rules

Et klassisk træhus der knirker (træ arbejder igennem årstider og temperaturer), en balkon med en fantastisk udsigt lige til søen med bjergene i baggrunden, et køkken hvor der er plads, samt en spisekrog der emmer af samvær og nærvær. Værten er meget interesseret i din velbefindende og meget behjælpelig! Ønsker kun at du og dine nærmeste får mest ud af jeres oplevelse her i Hallstatt. Hun giver gode tips ideer til hvad man kan lave og lytter gerne til de ting man selv måske har, og fortæller om fordele/ulemper, samt evt udfordringer, som der var ved nogle af de ting vi oprindeligt havde tænkt. Men derfor fik vi stadig en helt fantastisk oplevelse her i byen, også selvom der er mange turister, for byen er efter kl 17-18 stykker meget mere rolig og fantastisk flot at gå rundt i op til mørkets frembrud, eller i de første af dagens solstråler. Selv i regnvejr, er der masser af ting at tage sig til.

Upon arrival, the host immediately d - This very average and only we like view but we other property which will have similar view and owner. We had a very frustrating experience with this property booked through Booking.com. Upon arrival, the host immediately demanded a €100 cash deposit, which was not clearly mentioned in the listing. She was extremely rude from the start no proper greeting, just a long list of rules thrown at us in a cold, unfriendly tone. It felt like we were walking on eggshells throughout our stay, constantly worried we might “break” one of her many rules. At checkout, she only returned €20 of our deposit, claiming we didn’t clean the apartment properly which is completely false. We left the place spotless and have traveled extensively across Europe without ever facing such an issue. Her reasoning was vague and ridiculous, clearly just an excuse to keep most of the deposit,very stupid host. Sadly, we are not the only ones. After this experience, we saw other similar reviews complaining about her behavior and unfair deposit deductions. We took a risk booking this place last-minute, and it turned out to be a big mistake. We’ve visited Hallstatt before and had a wonderful time, but this host completely ruined the end of our trip. If you value a stress-free stay and honest service, avoid this property. Be warned: there is a high chance you won’t get your deposit back she seems to always find an excuse to keep it.
• Crnkovich (10/5): Hallstatt is a stunning lake town with hiking, swimming and history - The property is on the lake with direct access to the lake. The house is old and charming. Views are stunning and location is walking distance to downtown area. Very quiet and peaceful location - close enough to walk to the downtown area but far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Ruth is an excellent host and very knowledgeable. The home has been in her family for centuries. NA

I personally will only stay here when I return. I loved the property and the town. The town gets extremely busy with day trippers. So we found ourselves preferring to stay at the house with our private balcony.

We were not aware of that the owner lives downstairs but it turned out well. She was very kind, she explained every detail. It is fascinating that her family owns this house for generations, like more than 5 centuries. She offered a local delicacy she prepared herself. Thanks a lot for everything! It is not about the property but if you have plans like us to hang out in the balcony or garden in the evening, you can forget about it :) there is not much light in the town after a certain time, so you would not have the view you expected. But you can definitely watch the stars if the weather is nice and they are visible

• David (5/5): It should have been fabulous but it wasn’t. - The view was stunning, the bedding comfortable and the traditional furnishings quaint but attractive. Every room in the rental unit was at a different level, a very small step up or down. All were trip hazards in an unfamiliar place especially for children, elderly or anyone carrying food or drink. The entrance to the house was through the unit so the owner who was downstairs and any other guests had unfettered access to the unit. The bathroom was clean but archaic and the shower didn’t work. The OTT owner demanded that all windows and doors were closed tight at night so the unit was airless with no ventilation, thus hot. The unit was not adequately managed. The kitchen was dated but adequate.

• Hanhkt72 (10/5): Great Stay by The Lake - The location : right next to the lake and short walk from town center and near a bus stop too. A great thing is the house is on the tarred road and no need to carry our heavy suitcases up to the moutain! The view from the balcony : one could spend a whole day enjoying a bottle of wine from the balcony with such a view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The house : it is a very aged authentic wooden house on the outside and well maintained and well equipped on the inside, the feeling of living like a local towner by the lake is simply wonderful. The host : Ruth is a warm, communicative and conversational person. She would give you the most caring welcome and all the information and tips you might need together with stories about interesting places around. Sometimes she might appear to complain a bit about unthoughtful tenants behaviours but as we also rent out our houses, we could totally feel empathetic. We ended up extending our stay vs our original plan and hope to come back to Hallstatt sometime in autumn for the foliage. If anything, it is only that the wifi range doesnot cover the master bedroom. Maybe it could be easily fixed with a simple wifi extender/repeater, just for suggestion.

Our host Ruth was very helpful , friendly and made us feel at home. There really wasn’t anything.

Warm treatments aside, we were happy with the apartment itself as well. It was very clean and comfortable. Moreover, the views in the apartment were gorgeous and we were amazed by this landscape. We would definitely recommend Ruth's apartment to family and friends. Nothing.

Kitchen was very well equipped We did not like the first impression of the host, she was very strict and as soon as we entered, she handed over dos and donts so it was bit awkward, felt not like holiday but an additional stress not doing something wrong.. She seemed a bit rude in beginning but then it was fine later. However the check in time of the apartment is very late like 4 pm and the host just did not open the door even 5 min before which was annoying and disrespectful

She gave us a good history of Halstatt, pointed out good and "bad" dining spaces, and even did a load of laundry for us. The tub-shower combination is a bit difficult to maneuver for an older person like me. But the bathroom was spotless, and the water hot. I'd stay again.

• Roland (10/5): Traditional house right at the lakeside with panoramic view, lovely. - The house is located in the quiet part of Hallstatt, about 4 min walk from the center. The apartment is located directly to the lake with a breathtaking view. The top storey was ours, it was built of wood, everything was comfortable and clean. The shuttle bus was well organised from the parking lot to the apartment and back. We only could park our car in the public parking lot - this is the case of every apartment located in the village - which is situated in 10 minutes of walk. This was not a big problem for us but it's worth to know. A shuttle bus took us and the luggages at arrival and when we left.

• Monika (1/5): avoid ! - the only good thing about this place is location .. nothing else booked this place during our euro trip with my family .. on Easter Monday we decided that our next stop will be Hallstatt .. I start searching properties in this beautiful village and I found this property … I read first 2 reviews and I said ok let’s try as reviews been good .. I just wished I read all of the reviews ( negative once ) .. we have been travelling by car from Poland ( we had 9 hours drive ) I messaged to the lady what time approximately we will be and I explained we travelling from far … around 8 pm I received a call from the owner if we can hurry up as she is hungry and she is not gonna wait for us to check us in as she wants to eat her dinner with family . I apologised and explained it was massive traffic .. and explained we will be in 20-30 min .. the owner again in very rude Manner and not very friendly tone of her voice said hurry up ! If the property wouldn’t be prepaid I would cancel that after this conversation ! But because she charged us 320 euros per night I said fine we need to stay there.. when we arrived I was shocked … I thought I booked 80 m apartment for ourself .. but then the owner explained she live with her family downstairs , and we have a upstairs .. all rooms ( especially living room ) stink of cigarette .. the smell was that strong that all out clothes after 1 night stinks of cigarette smell . the owner said to me it was previous guests but now I see review from few years ago with the same problem. She put containers around the house with coffee inside to reduce the smell , but didn’t help .. the worst part is that we had the same main exit … going to the bathroom everyone could see you so you had to make sure after bath you changing straight in a bathroom before going to the rooms . our rooms could t closed .. you couldn’t close your rooms with a key and we felt extremely uncomfortable !

Owner lived downstairs and smoked inside so the house smelled like cigarettes the entire time which as a non smoker, was not enjoyable, especially with a baby with us.

It has a huge balcony overlooking the lake and mountain. The lady of the house Ruth was very very cordial. She gave complete details about the place . She gave a short tour of her home.
