• Michael (7/5): Heavily used holiday home outside of town with a steep driveway and a small pool - The apartment was comfortable and a 10-minute walk to town. We only had remote contact with the host, but the self-check in procedure went smoothly. It was nice to have the laundry machine available. The pool is a nice feature to have. The apartment has a distinct "heavily used holiday home" feel. Many kitchen utensils and dishes were chipped/bent/broken/missing. There were several dirty pieces of cutlery and dishes when we arrived, which were attributed to an oversight by the cleaning company. The toilet seat and one of the blinds were broken when we arrived, though the host sent in a repairman the next day to at least fix the toilet (I gather the blinds were done after we left). The driveway is incredibly steep and leads to a teeny tiny parking space, which added a lot of stress any time we used the car. All told, we were surprised to see the apartment in this condition given how high the ratings were.
