- Elizabeth (Liz) (8/5): Quirky, great staff - worth the stop - Awesome staff, quirky accommodation, included breakfast was a nice bonus, particularly eaten on the upstairs balcony. Beautiful beer garden fabulous on a hot evening. Food was good too An old lady hotel currently under renovation. Wonderful owners, but be aware not everything is finished and make allowances. Not cheap - but this is Australia, and accommodation is expensive

Julie and Paul do an amazing job making your stay one to remember. Hats off to the chef đź‘Ź food was beautiful..the showers are hot, rooms are clean, cosy & well presented, bed was comfortable too. Thanks guys, really enjoyed my stay!

- Chris (10/5): Top notch experience with owners that go above and beyond! - The owners really went above and beyond to accommodate us, we were cared for and catered for they really made us enjoy our stay. The locals that came into the pub to drink, sing, and shoot some pool were friendly, inclusive, and overall approachable. The rooms are upstairs and even though there was a karaoke night downstairs the sound didn't permeate the walls. 10/10 would go again and intend to soon!

- Giorgio (8/5): A good stay. - Vintage hotel being completely renovated. The owners are managing the challenge quite well. They are really friendly and effective. Some aspects are not perfect yet, but they will in a short time. The pub offers very good food. A bit pricey.
- Anthony (8/5): First time to Coleraine. I might be back one day. - The staff were really friendly and accomodating. It was not an issue that I arrived just before dinner service was about to wind up; I was still able to enjoy the smorgasbord dinner of which I had two nice helpings. And the bed was one of the comfiest I have stayed in for years. The accomodation price was a bit more than what I would normally pay for a single hotel room. But I had to settle as the other hotel in town was booked out and so I also ended up in a double bed room.

Very clean, comfortable, affordable and delightful stay with Julie and Paul. Newly renovated- Kitchenette was very lovely to have. Ample parking at the back, beer garden, balcony, lounge and more. Nothing was ever too much. As we were performing at the local - Sandford Bush Music 🎶 Festival, Julie made us dinner to have after our show had finished later that night. Just absolutely lovely people. We can not thank them enough for such lovely hospitality :)
- James (10/5): Exceptional - We checked in at 11:30 PM, Julie had stayed up to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed including dinner. Great building, recently renovated rooms and nice breakfast and coffee in the morning. Definitely recommend.
- Barb (10/5): Amazing stay will be back again. - What an absolute gem of a building. Walking in was very welcoming. Was shown to our room, shown the bathrooms that have recently been renovated. The photos on the website need to be updated. The roof has now been cleaned of moss, the front of the building is nearly ready to be painted. The beds have been updated to poster beds and new mattresses. We had a great sleep so comfortable. They are installing an upstairs kitchenette, but we were lucky enough to arrive on a special lobster mornay evening which was huge and delicious. The beer garden was relaxing and was nice to sit and enjoy dinner with a bar in the beer garden so I didn’t have to keep going inside. The locals were also welcoming and let us join in with playing pool and playing music. Sitting on the balcony was a highlight watching the sunset. Well done to the new owners and their staff for bringing this old building back to life. Before booking I check the reviews, when looking around I have seen that what others pointed out have been rectified whilst under renovation. There was hanging hooks in the bathroom and space in the room to hang my belongings.
- Hall (10/5): Will be back again for sure. - A favourite of my country pubs. Paul and Julie are absolutely lovely and super accommodating. Great to see this pub being renovated and having some love put back into the beautiful old building. Meals are great, people are great what's not to love.

No clothing shelf/ hooks in bathroom, no exhaust fan in bathroom. Heating not very good, no remote for TV in lounge Noisy floors, no carpet yet
- Ray (8/5): Very good - I had a great stay here. Paul and Jules were very hospitable. The food was delicious, and the service went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. My room was amazing and warm. I definitely will be back again. The staff, including Skye, were attentative, and I really enjoyed meeting up with the regular locals there and having great chats. They were very friendly and happy with their local pub and piece of paradise. If I were to be picky, but I totally understand that the Hotel is under renovations, maybe just a little tidy up on the back steps, and adjacent areas to the building could have been a better look and easier to navigate with luggage for access. But I fully appreciate what has been achieved, reno wise, in a, what would seem, a very short time. It will be amazing when complete, I am sure.
