Dopo averne parlato con i gestori l’hanno consegnata solamente il secondo giorno ma essendo 2 ospiti sin da subito una delle due persone non aveva possibilità di dormire (senza ferriere) né lavarsi (senza asciugamani)

Dodatkowo balkon dodaje klimatu, z którego jest fajny widok na okolicę. Pomimo dużego ruchu wewnątrz jest w miarę cicho. W okolicy kilka barów i kawiarni z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem - ale z cenami już średnio 🫣 Odpadająca farba z sufitu centralnie nad łóżkiem w sypialni Wnętrza nadają się już do odświeżenia, czuć że obiekt jest już trochę zmęczony Brak odkurzacza (potrzebny do próżniowego worka na ubrania),pomimo że wynajmujący stałe zapewniał że znajduje się w obiekcie. Za każdym razem odpowiedź brzmiała, że jest w obiekcie ale nie był w stanie wskazać miejsca gdzie dokładnie. Brak deski do prasowania Uszkodzona pralka - urwane mocowanie drzwi. Czy wybrał bym go ponownie - TAK, ale za niższą cenę

However, the apartment needs to deal with moisture issues, as there was a very strong smell. Also, cleanliness needs more attention. The water system was not adjusted; hot water came out extremely hot and made it difficult to take a good shower. The cold water was weak, while the hot water was too strong.

• sergio (1/5): orribile catapecchia - nulla avevo prenotato un appartamentino che dalle foto risultava carino, quando sono arrivato ll'appartamento era già occupato da altri ospiti. ho chiamato i referenti al telefono e mi hanno dirottato su un buco che loro hanno definito monolocale ma che invece era talmente piccolo che due persone dovavano passare a turno. senza mobili frigo,cucina armadi cassetti per depositare qualcosa , insomma un incubo. ho chiamato un mio parente che abita a Roma è venuto ha visto questo ambiente invivibile e mi ha trovato lui una sistemazione presso amici. Insomma una desolazione da terzo mondo o peggio come da foto che vi chiedo di esaminare accuratamente tutto non è l'appartamento che avevo pagato con la prenotazione e mi attivo subito per il rimborso.

No coffee machine or kettle washer didn’t work but was left there plugged in as if it did. Mould all on the bathroom ceiling. The pictures on booking. Com was probably from yers ago when they first got the property very ignorant if you ask me if I was renting somewhere out for that money and with children and they had a problem I would want to resolve it not ignore them

The place was pretty large and had beautiful balcony with the view of piazza Barberini. The host is very helpful, and it's very easy to find the place!

Sucia, sin mantenimiento, los aire acondicionados no andaban en plena ola de calor, las ventanas no abrían. La puerta de entrada se trababa. Había productos como pintura al paso. Cero prolijidad. Abajo de una de las camas había mugre se nota que hay meses sin limpiar. Te cobran 100 euros por sábanas y toallas cuando deberían de estar incluido. No tenía objetos de cocina y en el baño no había donde colgar toallas o apilar nada. Muchas cosas edilicias estaban pegadas con cinta scoth

They had the audacity to send us a text before arrival asking us not to use it much cause electricity was to expensive in Rome when in fact they didn’t work (3). Instead they had FANS for us in 38 degree Celsius weather. They as you to PAY FOR LINENS AND TOWELS 10 Euros for each person. Floors were FILTHY. My daughter’s socks turned literally black from white just walking down a corridor. Again DO NOT BOOK. DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION. Fridge filthy. Floors chipped. Marble piece by window ledge broken. hard to find parking. Wait there is more. They contacted me after I complained to bookings and they asked me for my personal information and banking info.

There are several broken or non-functioning items. The washing machine is broken, so we are unable to use it. Also, some of the air conditioners are either not working or working very poorly. Additionally, we are missing some towels.

There were not 2 queen beds or bedrooms. The was 1 bedroom and a loft with 2 twin beds. The washer latch was broke. No tv because the remotes didn’t work. Sent a note and heard nothing back. The place needs to be updated and clean. No paper towels. No extra towels, no trash bags. When you pay over 200 a night you’d figure they would match the description! I cannot take anything away from the location!! My wife and I had to sleep on the couch because there was not a bed!

• Nicola (3/5): Uncomfortable studio - Very small room with a window facing a dark and foul-smelling air shaft. There is a musty odor. The door to the studio has been poorly and cheaply patched, and you can hear all the noises and voices of people coming down the stairs. The cleanliness needs improvement. The room and the bathroom require maintenance or, better yet, a full renovation.

• Roberto (1/5): Extremely disappointed. - first of all, despite having specified several times that I only had to pay 24 euros for the tourist tax, different members of the staff in charge of the property asked me to pay 10 euros more. Even though the size of the room was specified, the photos are not at all faithful to the real size. definitely too small. bed and sheets very dirty. the bathroom with limited hot water. the disgusting smell that overwhelmed us as soon as we entered the room was the thing that struck me the most. They accused me of not leaving the keys in the external box at check out and they treated me badly several times over the phone. Very unpleasant stuff.

One A/C don't work, another one sometimes work but even its works location of A/C so high up and high ceiling makes impossible to heat rooms, we got cold in first night and deal with whole trip. --Washing machine not working. --Hair Dryer so old cannot hold the attachment. --Kettle and all other kitchen stuff in very bad shape. --No hands soaps in the bathroom, not even one wall hook in the bathroom, you have to put your towels on the floor. --There is a construction outside of the building they start the work at 7am sharp!! making hammer, drill, hammer, drill noise until like at night, this aparment shouldn't be rented during construction, its impossible to sleep, there is also street noise coming thru inside very bad, we really couldnt sleep much during our stay, we purchased earplugs to reduced the noise.
• Judi (2/5): I would not recommend this apartment! When i read past reviews, the comments are all very poor rating. - Location was good! The property is not “luxury” by any standard! We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment and only one bed was made up. There were no sheets for the futon, that subbed for a bed. The facility was dirty, dust bunnies in hall. Light bulbs missing, a/c did not work! No soap in bathrooms, no wastebaskets, very few electrical outlets, kettle stopped working. Only outlet for kettle was in bathroom , and after 2 days it wouldn’t work! Shower was good, no bidets, as advertised! No response from hosts! No response about complaint, from customer service at Booking.

• Alexa (1/5): DONT STAY THERE ITS A SCAM. THE PLACE IS BAD, THEY FOOL WITH EXTRA CHARGES AND OVER THE TOP, FEELS DANGEROUS. - location ok it’s a scam, the rental people are creepy and abusive. DONT stay here. first of all, Gianluca told me that the apt. was ready and when I arrived, the cleaning guy was still there and asked me a bunch of questions. I had to wait for him to finish and leave, for 1 hour. (check In is at 4pm, super late). THEY CHARGED ME TWICE FIR THE CITY TAX + CLEANING FEE (€12 city tax / €10 cleaning fee— nowhere said before that I would be charged like that. city tax is €6 btw) after cleaning guy left, i took a shower and just after that MATTEO (the owner?) WAS RINGINGING THE DOOR, HE NEEDED TO FIX SOMETHING. I asked him to leave, but also asked Gianluca about this, he hadn’t written anything about someone coming in. When i tell Gianluca about it, he just tells me to OPEN TUE DOOR, so really scared I did so. He was nice, and supposedly “fix a nail with screwdriver” it last no more than a minute, seemed like he did NOTHING. He asked stuff and left. I was so scared so I started reading booking reviews and some other family HAD EXACTLY THE SAME SITUATION. The guy let himself in, and “fixed” a paper that was already on the wall. In that instance I left the place and looked for another one. I confronted to Gianluca and didn’t answer a thing. I don’t know if he would had entered if i hadn’t answered the door. The place is really big, but has no maintenance, and it’s dirty. Wc are stained and so the furniture. there are no trash cans or hand soup but the one in the kitchen. Smells bad, and that’s all I can say because i was there like for 2 hours. PLEASE DONT STAY THERE ITS A SCAM. THE PLACE IS BAD, THEY FOOL WITH EXTRA CHARGES AND OVER THE TOP, FEELS DANGEROUS. Also booking never answered about this safety isssue.

• Miller (8/5): Very good - Very central location in rome and the apartment met all our needs across the short trip. The balcony is also a fantastic extra that was great to sit out on. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The tv didn't pick up local tv station Rai 1 so we were unable to watch the euro football but went to watch it in a local bar. Also the air con didn't work in all the rooms.
• Shelbi (1/5): Bad - Location was good and central We checked in for our 4 night stay and checked out just 4 hours later. It was 105 degrees In Rome in August and the AC units were not working at all. One unit read error. Another unit would not cool below 33 degrees Celsius. I reached out to the property manager but her response was that if they were blowing they were working and she had plug in fans to use. We had those running but 3 plug in fans aren't going to cut it in 100 degree weather. I booked this place specifically because of the location and because it had AC listed as we were traveling with 2 young children. I also noticed mold growing in the ceiling of the shower. Very disappointed overall and wasted money.
• Danielle (1/5): Nightmare SCAM property - Do not stay here! - Centrally located, but this property is a scam. Do not waste your money. This property is a scam. Do not waste your money. It was an absolute nightmare property. There was black mold in the bathroom, washer/dryer, and various locations throughout the apartment. There was no body or hand soap to be found anywhere in the place. During a record heatwave of 100°+ F only 1 of 3 air conditioners worked in the kitchen, making it impossibly hot in the sleeping and lounging quarters. We asked them to come fix the units, but they ignored us. We asked another Italian person we met to speak to them on our behalf. They came to the property while we were away, fixed nothing, and left us 1 barely usable fan. We were stranded with no other affordable options in the midst of June - Rome’s busiest season. The beds were hard as a rock. The couch had mystery stains. Most decorations and lamps were in ill repair or outright broken. Dishes were left drying on the rack from the prior tenants. We were told we could leave luggage at noon and were affronted and yelled at by the staff who told us we could not be there at all until 4pm.
• Leah (1/5): Pandora's Box - The location is great. The terrace was nice. The kettle, the TV, the washing machine, and 2 of the 3 air conditioning units are broken. The 3rd air conditioning unit is about to pack it in. If you try to run the one working air con and the dishwasher at the same time, it trips the power. Some of the windows are a bit dodgy. The apartment door apartment is a gamble as to whether it will open or not. One of the beds in the mezzanine, where the kids slept, is missing half the slats. The shower was OK, a bit mouldy. If someone flushes the toilet, the person having a shower gets scalded with hot water. There were very little/no essentials like tea towels, tea spoons, soaps, detergents, clothes drying rack, etc. The washing up sponge looked like it had been used by multiple previous tenants. There are no fire alarms that we could see, and we were a bit nervous about this after the power tripped. The cooktop also felt a bit dangerous because you could see some of the wires. One of the owners dropped in unannounced to stick some information to the back of the door (which already seemed to be there). We were a bit on edge after this as he let himself in. On our last night, it was about 33°c outside, with limited air con we tried to sleep with the windows open, bit the noise was too much because it is such a busy area. So we closed the windows and sweltered. We put the There is a sticker on the door that says it had a high rating of nearly 9 back in 2020. But 4 years in it feels like it was amazing once... but it's not so great now. It was disappointing.

You have to call a phone number to make the front main door to open but somehow I didn't work for us it just so happened that somehow someone was getting in and we are able to get in. They don't even have shampoo or body wash compared to other apartment we stayed at.
• Louise (8/5): Fabulous location, perfect for families - Fantastic location close to the Barberini Metro station and easy walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Very comfortable beds and an extremely spacious apartment with high ceilings and large windows. The small balcony was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Lots of lovely bars, cafés and restaurants nearby. Perfect place for a family of 4 (2 adults & twin 14 year olds) The small ensuite bathroom is basically a WC and a sink in the space of a wardrobe, which was fine but could have done with a brighter bulb in the light fitting. The main bathroom was fine, although the shower was a little dated and temperamental. An extension cable would be useful as we had to put the kettle on the floor in order to plug it in.

• Sue (9/5): Loved it! - Absolutely central for everything including taxi rank, local buses, hop on hop off buses and walking Not all drawers could be used in the bedroom but we managed with wardrobes and you wouldn’t want to cook a dinner however many a restaurant is available

The electric coffee pot was broken , glass on the balcony door broken and pached with tape, wallpaper detached from wall , TV. Broken, and one of the cloth chairs had urine stains. In general the apartment showed neglect and in meed of a good cleaning. It took 4 days ro replace the coffee pot and the TV WAS NEVER REPAIRED. The owner simply ignored our repeated calls and e mails. We were there for 12 days at a cost of over 6500.00 USD. We wish we had taken the time to read the reviews, as some were similar to our experience. Pictures documenting tha condition of the apartment were sent to Bookings customer support on 08 October 2023 in hopes the next person has a better experience
• Nancy (4/5): Hot!!!! - Location was great Air conditing in bedroom doesn’t work . It’s a very old tired spot . Not like pictures. Could be fabulous if they painted and cleaned up. Also wash machine does not work but is listed as in unit
• Nihal (1/5): Bad - honestly only the location was good bad customer service no one respond to you immediatly no one here to open the apartment we wait almost 2 hours in front of the door ans there is nothing to show the name of the apartment ,a/c was not working properly i dont recommend at all
• Lucy (3/5): Very disappointed overall with apartment and owners totally ignoring any concerns or calls. Paid plenty for a 4 night s - Location was only positive I can find. Air conditioning was not working properly, hardly cooled area. Need cleaning & servicing. Had trouble with key getting jammed in lock. They did not provide linen for upstairs room. I messaged owner on first afternoon They asked how many I booked for, which I responded 2 ladies separate rooms. No response to that at all and no linen appeared, the whole 4 nights I was there. so had to get top sheet off double bed to use. Disgusting service. Many phone calls owners did not answer when we got to apartment to organise payment of city tax. Sent messages which took them a long time to respond, ended up having to ring Booking twice to help. Had to put kettle on chair to reach plug. No information on how to use TV as had a smart card, that didn’t work. Beds old and hard. 2nd room is up a very narrow and steep stairs. Not much luxury about it. Apartment supposed to be on 1st floor, 36 steps later!! Not good getting bags up there.
• Prasanna (1/5): Worst and never again - Nothing The air conditioning was not working in two bedrooms, and when we informed the owners, they asked eight members to sleep in the one room where the AC was working. They promised to send a technician the next day, but they didn't send anyone for the next three days. Additionally, there was a power fuse issue when we used the shower, and the owners blocked our numbers and ignored our calls. We made at least 150 calls in 3 days, and they didn't pick up 149 calls after the first call.

• Jonathan (10/5): Great apartment, great location, great hosts - Location is fantastic and the apartment is spacious and has character It is not brand new or newly renovated, but we loved the character of the place.
• Claire (6/5): Great location, clean property but needs little TLC. - great location, clean. good kitchen facilities property clean but needs updating. small things like providing soap in bathroom would help, especially for those only stay couple of nights.
• Craig (5/5): good but staff unhelpful would not recommend - good staff hard to contact and made it stressful when asking for photo of credit card. This is not right . Despite many attempts at contact by us and booking.com staff they did not respond to the end.
• Joanne (4/5): Great location. Property not ideal for couples. - Location was great. The stairs to the second bedroom were dangerous. Low roofline in second bedroom also made it impossible for adults sleep in. One couple had to sleep on pullout couch for the 3 nights. Also only had 1 shower.
• Barbara (7/5): This apartment is all about the location. The balcony affords an amazing view of the square and the sitting room is a pl - the location was fantastic. It is within easy walking distance of most of the major sites. We even walked to Stadio Olimpico to watch the rugby. The facilities need to be updated. The hot water system is scalding hot. The coffee machine didn’t work.
• Susie (7/5): Wonderful stay at Barberini - The location was honestly excellent, you could not wish for better!! The apartment was secure and spacious. We loved being so close to all the popular tourist sites and so close to the metro station. The photos shown on Booking.com were not a true reflection of the apartment. The apartment has got so much potential and with a few little extra touches the apartment could be absolutely fantastic. We battled to locate the apartment in Piazza Barberini (we were looking around Via Veneto) but thankfully the owner met us and showed us how to get into the flat (we were very grateful for that).
• Eilis (9/5): Beautiful and spacious - The views, the space itself was great for a family if 4 to be able to spread out. Two toilets 🤗. The balcony was beautiful. Lovely spot to watch roman life from. The second room is not suitable for very young children
• Elif (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the flat is perfect Heating inside was awful. Air conditioners were old and very dirty, so weren't enough to warm up the flat. The one in the bedroom downstairs didn't function at all. TV in the livingroom didn't work. We couldn't reach the host after 9pm the day we arrived when we realised these problems. Next day the host wrote back only about the TV and didn't do anything.

• Jean (3/5): Very disappointing - This apartment is in a fantastic location. The owners kept in touch & the picking up & dropping off of the keys was very straightforward (we arrived quite late) We travelled as a group of 3 adults & specifically booked this apartment as it was deemed to have 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. However, there is a WC & wash basin only en suite to the main bedroom with a separate very small bathroom with a shower cubicle. We expected 2 bathrooms would mean 2 full bathrooms with showers. The shower is very poor, hardly any water pressure & the cubicle was generally not that clean. The mezzanine bedroom has very little storage & the stairs up to it are not very safe if travelling with younger children as there is no handrail & they curve up. We did not think the kitchen was particularly clean either & opted not to cook or eat anything at all in the apartment. There were a lot of little black flies in the apartment all the time we were there. Unfortunately the reality of the apartment does not match the photos in terms of the kitchen & bathroom so we felt that what we paid for this apartment was not good value for money. We will not stay here again.
• Sarah (1/5): Sad to see this listing on Booking.com - absolutely nothing. the place was not even close to the description. Flithy dirty bathrooms. mold on the ceiling. no blankets for the beds. just sheets. requested extra bedding the next day and they told us we would get the following morning. I requested that I needed it for comfort that same day. they dropped off one blanket for 4 adults. we only stayed 3 nights The kitchen sink was filthy. The wall paper was piling off. A cloth chair looked like it has a urine stain on it. The lamps in two of the rooms were torn. lite bulbs were burnt out. not replaced. used Xmas candles decor was burnt and old. the curtains were stained. the upstairs was a loft with twin beds not a queen size. could not sleep up there because the air conditioner leaked and we didn’t want to chance slipping down. very narrow stairs and no rail. only one TV. two were in the pictured descriptions. horrible lighting in all rooms. shower head needed replacing , sprayed water all over the floor. check in was not until 5 but was still not ready by 6. still cleaning. this place is a disaster. Booking.com really dropped the ball at this location. I will be disputing this charge. they get a 1 rating due to the location.

Nice balcony to watch the buzz of the square and people watch !!😁 I Was quite apprehensive booking this apartment due to its cleanliness rating …but found it acceptable it is a little scruffy and needs some TLC .if I was just rating it for location it would get a 10 …but the low score is for the fact it didn’t fulfill the booking conditions……I booked the apartment for four people which on the booking details included two bedrooms and two sofa beds I booked this apartment because of the sleeping spaces and the space it provided . But when we arrived we were basically told where we had to sleep which was restricted to the two bedrooms which included a double bed and two single beds !! But what if two people didn’t want to share a bed ?? We were told we couldn’t use the sofa beds ! and the hosts wouldn’t supply bedding for this area . Apparently you don’t get the use of the whole apartment if it’s booked for Four people !! But yet I pay the same cleaning fee!! and nothing was stated about these restrictions on booking !! I have booked apartments in the past and never had this problem !!! Free toiletries is just hand wash? one towel per person for three nights ? Found a cigarette butt behind the chair in the sitting room !!

• Lilia (4/5): Unsatisfactory stay at a great location - The location is nice, right at a metro station. Easy to reach anything on foot, restaurants, historical spots. Nice small terrace overviewing Pizza Barberini. Poorly maintained. Moulded and clogged bathroom. Very old and not maintained kitchen. Dirty chairs, falling wallpapers, AC in the bedroom not working. After a full renovation, it could become a very nice apartment. We had to pay additional money to be supplied with bedsheets and towels, really?!?! Also tourist tax is paid separately from the accommodation.
