Guest Reviews
- sharni (1/5): Filthy apartment — dirty floors, cushions, and shower, fridge with meat blood, cigarette ash in a non-smoking room, and - The location. We were appalled by the condition of this apartment upon arrival. It was filthy — the floors were sticky, the cushions and shower were dirty, the windows and balcony had not been cleaned, and there was meat blood inside the fridge. Even worse, there was cigarette ash throughout the room, despite it being listed as a non-smoking property.
For the price charged, this was completely unacceptable. There were no basic amenities — not even a kitchen cloth, and only a tiny bar of soap was provided in the bathroom. A loose electrical cord in the lounge created a serious tripping hazard.
It took two full days before a cleaner attended, and even then, they only vacuumed. We felt extremely uncomfortable and did not even want to sit down or sleep there, but unfortunately had no alternative accommodation at the time.
This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly advise others not to stay here.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikaela (4/5): Hotel - good. Coastal letting - will not recommend - The amenities The service from coastal letting
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - We got an uber from Gold Coast Airport to the place we needed to pick up the keys and then got an Uber to our accommodation from there. This was very easy and the two places were very close to one another. We loved our stay- the apartment was beautiful and spacious. The facilities at the Langham were amazing- we didn't want to leave!
- Lee (1/5): Nice pool facilities and good location but poor apartment in need of refurbishing - Reception team at key pick up were friendly and helpful The apartment was not the same as the photos on booking.com, the apartment was really a 1 bed, with a second bedroom created by a glass partion. None of the window blinds worked well, large gaps between each blind, bedroom blind unable to retract to floor due to large bedside table squeezed between bed and wall. Tv cable crudely tapped across the living room floor. The sofa was very dirty and had a bad smell. The toilet kept dripping water, they did fix it , but after a day it started leaking again, the fridge salad box kept filling with water, the kitchen and utensils were of poor quality. No WiFi instructions, with the help of reception they located it for us, WiFi was in a wardrobe which we couldn't easily open as a heavy bedside table was lodged between the wardrobe and the bed. I did requst a change of apartment which they were unable to accommodate. Avoid apartment 1302!!!
- Tejinder (1/5): DISASTER - You do not have any access to the other 2 towers of Langham as advertised. That is misleading and deceptive. We were told we can access all of langham facilities which not true. we were turned back and it was embarrassing. Very poor value for money
- Shanthan (6/5): Enjoyed the break, location, gym and pool. - New, modern and great location. Toilet running though the night, wifi was not easily accessible and when connected no internet speed, had to use my personal hotspot, clean cupboards of owners personal belongings, needs a spruce up.
- Katrina (3/5): The location was amazing however I feel like it was unpolished with no regard for guest satisfaction - We specifically chose this property for its reputation and facilities. The actual property was great. The room was underwhelming. There was no wifi nor was the TV connected to free to air, the toilet water wouldn’t stop running, a lamp was missing a light bulb, there was a shower cap over a fire alarm.
We also weren’t given comprehensive information about the facilities such as how to dispose of rubbish, what and how we could access the Langham facilities or which tower the apartment was in. We were told to park anywhere and then found three notices on our car that we were parked in the wrong location and received a phone call from the letting agents about this.
- Bree (9/5): Great location, comfortable and great amenities. Perfect for a family vacation. - Great location, comfortable beds, great facilities, close to the beach and to many restaurants. I think the place could have had some books, a few board games, salt and pepper at least and maybe oil. Even a Nespresso coffee machine. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room although the letting staff were very accomodating and bought one over. Just a few extra touches would have made it amazing.
- Minka (5/5): Dissapointing - We rented a 2 bedroom unit, However one bedroom was a 4 walled glass study room that they decided could be a bedroom, it had no privacy and no blinds between the living area and this room? I was pretty angry. It was overly expensive and I didn’t expect this! Also didn’t have a dining table / chairs or coffee table…
- Anonymous (9/5): Great location, facilities, property and friendly staff. We are excited to stay again in the future! - The location of the property is in the prime position between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, and having beachfront access is a godsend. The facilities themselves are amazing, with a fantastic pool area and private section for “residents” only and a view unmatched by many others along the waterfront. The check-in instructions were unclear and resulted in my family and I spending 40 minutes trying to gain access to tower one before successfully parking on the correct floor and going through the right doors (please note you will need the key FOB to get access into the building, elevators and pool areas). In future it would be beneficial to update the instructions to advise travellers using the carpark to park on level 2 and park in any free space (and add pictures) then enter the door marked “residents only”, before proceeding forward to the next door straight ahead and to the right which will give you access to the door to tower one where you will enter the area to wait for an elevator. Once in the elevator all other directions on the check-in instructions make sense. It was extremely confusing and frustrating after a long day of travel, otherwise we are grateful to the hotel staff who were able to explain where to go on the day. This was the only downside to our experience.
