- Peng Kee (6/5): In general it was okay except for the issues mentioned above - The shower was a huge problem, it was effectively trickling water; the owner couldn’t do anything to help. Soundproofing wasn’t fantastic; noise from room upstairs could be heard quite clearly. The handrail at the steps going down to the basement is flimsy, an accident waiting to happen.

Cleaning is good Temperature control, sofa+TV could be better.
- Warren (7/5): Good - The unit was clean and in good condition, bed was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. Host was very responsive when contacted. You could hear everything literally everything going on in the unit above you. Temperatures in the unit are cool, be sure to notify the host when it gets cold so he can turn up the heat. Parking was a an issue as the guests in the unit above had a large vehicle and you could not park front to back in the driveway. If you need to park on the street any given night be sure to get an exemption from City of Markham (it can be done easily online) otherwise you may get ticketed.
- Oi (10/5): cozy basement - location is good, the owner is very friendly and helpful, newly renovated, appliances are quite new only disadvantage is what u get of a basement 😎 and need a little bit of coordination when u hv more than 1 car parked at the driveway.
- Hiroko (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - WiFi was fast and stable, I was able to watch TV and movies, shower had good pressure, and safe neighbourhood. Kitchen was well equipped and I was able to prepare meals for my 10 day stay. Good sized bed and I was able to borrow a mattress to sleep in the living room area. The laundry was very large and helpful. I visited in end of July and it was hot outside, but the room was quite chilly as it was in the basement. You might want to bring a sweatshirt and pants as the basement can get quite chilly with the air conditioning.
