• Ian and Marsha (7/5): Comfortable, modern and positive stay at Olympic Residence. - Clean and modern with secure parking. The staff at reception were polite. The owner provided lovely touches of fruit and wine and local biscuits - thank you. The cleaning team were exceptional even came Christmas Day (but declined). The space was light and clean and clutter free with comfortable beds and the balcony furniture comfortable- the view from the balcony was beautiful sea to the front and mountains behind. There were enough bars and restaurants locally or could easily walk 40 mins to the marina. Did not use the out door pool water far too cold in December but had a swim in the sea ! Which is easily accessed across a bridge, over the road. The pool did look lovely though we used the gym and spa with inside pool again nice extra. The road was very busy and noisy didn’t bother us too much as didn’t sit out of an evening but in the summer may have been a disappointment. That said all other positives balances this out,

• Mykyta (6/5): Poor value for money as of now - Location is nice, garage parking is an advantage, terrace offers a limited seaview. The apartment could become better if the owner invests into some small improvements. Sofa in the living room was terribly dirty. Both armchairs have sunken seats. Towels already need a replacement, so as the mattress in the master bedroom. Once this is fixed the apartment will be receiving high scores definitely.
• Petr (9/5): Moderní apartmán s výhledem - Obrovský apartmán s výhledem na moře, prostorná kuchyň, krásná a velká terasa, úžasné digitální ovládání světel, rolet a závěsů. Hezký a čistý bazén. Pláž dostupná vlastní lávkou. Bezproblémové parkování. Matrace i postel v hlavní ložnici opravdu katastrofa. Panoramatický výhled jsme si moc neužili, dostali jsme apartmán ve druhém patře. To zároveň znamenalo opravdu velký hluk z rušné hlavní silnice hned pod okny. Možná, kdybychom měli apartmán s jinou matrací a v 16., nejvyšším patře, bylo by vše ideální :-)

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. There was a plate of fresh fruit, a bottle of red wine, milk, and water waiting for us in the apartment, which was such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to feel at home. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and our apartment was cleaned every single day, which made our stay extra comfortable. On the first day we had an issue with the shower, but someone came immediately to fix it—fantastic service and quick response. The pool area was spotless and very relaxing, and there is also a convenient bridge that leads directly to the beach. (Just a note: the sunbeds on the beach are not part of the apartments and cost 2.5 euro per day.) The spa is absolutely amazing—I had one of the best massages ever! The gym is also well equipped and perfect for keeping active. For convenience, there is a small supermarket just below the residence and a larger Lidl about a 15-minute walk away. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants close by and a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to the old town. Overall, everything was clean, comfortable, and truly relaxing. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

• Michael (6/5): Good, but no cigar! - Location was excellent and the units (self-catering) were pretty good. Spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the sea and decent furniture. Management clearly do not pay much attention to detail. The TV was not working when we arrived and needed a maintenance call as did the wall switch for the geyser that needed to be replaced to get the geysers to work. The kettle plug was not compatible with the wall sockets and we had to buy an adaptor to get it to work and the mattresses were the wrong size for one of the beds. The light and other switches (for electrically operated blinds for example) are over engineered and difficult to fathom - they are on several panels with many small buttons and described in tiny print which is not very legible, especially in the dark. Would also be nice to have holders in the showers for soaps and bottles which now have to be placed on the floors. All these are irritants rather than major problems but if the management - who we never saw - had paid any attention to the details of making sure the unit was ready to be occupied and that staff showing users the unit were properly trained, most could have been avoided.

Kaut gan pirms tam bija teikts, ka ir restorāns, kur pasniedz brokastis, pašā sezonas vidū tas bija aizvērts. Dušas telpas prasās atjaunināt vai rūpīgāk iztīrīt. Baseina dvieļi netika mainīti, tikai pēc pieprasījuma tika iedoti.

• Itzhak (8/5): דירה מרווחת נקיה במיקום מעולה לים (לא מתאימה להכנת אוכל) - דירה מרווחת, נקיה. הצוות בבריכה מקסים ואדיב מיקום קרוב לחוף מצויין למשפחות ולילדים נוף מקסים לים, לבריכות, ולקו הרקיע של העיר בדירה שהמטבח בה הוא שימושי ראוי שיהיו מגבות מטבח, שקיות אשפה, פח גדול יותר - כל זה היה חסר ממש. גלאי הנפח (החיישנים) מאירים את הבית על כל תנועה ככה שאי אפשר לעשות חושך מוחלט בחדר השינה(!!!) בנוסף, כל אמצעי הבית החכם גם משאירים אור וגם לא מאפשרים באמת להדליק או לכבות רק את האורות שרוצים. הצוות בקבלה ברובו לא מסביר פנים ולא שירותי או עוזר בכלל. בריכת הילדים מלאה במעופפים מתים צפים באחת המקלחות הגשמיה נוזלת מכל הכיוונים ומשפריצה גם החוצה

• Rob (7/5): This place could be great again with some some small tweaks. - We stayed for 10 days in July. The location is excellent in terms of proximity to a fantastic beach. This can be even easier given the bridge across the busy road, though we couldn't use it due to having a stroller. There are also too many good restaurants to count, grocery options, and its a quick 10 minute bus ride to the marina and old city. The pools were very nice and there is both a splah pool and little playground suitable for under 5s. However it seems the facilities are not up to what they used to be. The apartment itself was very clean and well-appointed with towels and such. Finally, the service was very good and the reception team did a great job arranging transporation and such. We had an issue with the plug in the bath tub and it was dealt with swiftly. So a very nice stay but it feels like the best days could be behind it if the onsite dining facilities aren't sorted out. The formerly leading restaurant downstairs is closed with no clear reopening date. And the pool bar service is no nothing more than placing an order with the staff and then they literally order from Wolt, mostly from the Ship Inn across the street. Also, we were overcharged for beers by 40% and were told "that's the new prices." I had to show 3 different menus which all had the "old" prices. So that left a sour taste to be honest. However the kitchen supplies were very slim and there is no equipment for proper cooking, so bear that in mind. Finally, while the balconies offer fantastic views, its hard to sit outside in the evening because of all the cars and motorcylcles revving their engines and accelarating aggressively can make it hard to have a normal conversation.
