- Jeary (7/5): All good except couldn't find WiFi. - No Wifi!

- Theresa (10/5): Lovely, comfortable stay - It was a lovely place to stay, it was spacious and comfortable with everything that we needed. Nice and peaceful location.
- Kristine (5/5): Can't say I enjoyed it. - The location was great, not far from the restaurant. Spacious living room. Cleaning standards were poor, I needed to clean all drawers myself (there was visible dust, hair and stains in every room).
Someone left dirty socks in the bedroom.
One of the toilets wasn't working.
No smart TV
No WiFi in the caravan. (You can only connect to the tavern's free WiFi, but the signal was very poor).
The second bedroom's mattress was not comfortable.
- Judith (7/5): - The location is great. Lovely caravan park and the spot the caravan is on is great with a lovely tree/ greenery view . Great lounge , great shower , comfortable beds, big fridge , bathroom and shower room . Plenty of storage , kitchen seemed well equipped. The place was very clean . The onsite Tavern was nice and great staff in there. Check in details for the key code did not arrive until we were almost at the site. In my view these should be sent at the latest at lunchtime on the day of arrival. Details of how to locate the caravan once on the site also need to be emailed in advance. It was difficult to locate as the number and name is not clearly visible so it is easy to drive past it and get lost with the erratic numbering. The toilet in the shower room was not filling properly so flushing was impossible for normal usage. The sink plug in the shower room did not work so you could not fill the sink for a wash or shave. All these things can be easily sorted .
- Denise (6/5): Lovely large caravan which requires more TLC. - Peaceful, roomy and quiet Cooker wasn’t working, hob worked, one toilet had no water pressure making it difficult to flush throughout the time and no remote control for the tv until it was dispatched during the holiday. My husband noticed the floor in the bathrooms needed to be cleaned.
- Elaine (9/5): Superb - was attending a 2 day. concert so this was fab nothing
- Transport (10/5): Excellent stay - The owner was very friendly and helpful
Location is excellent to reach places of I terest, it's quiet, with a shop, pub and restaurant and very clean
The caravan is excellent, spacious, well equipped and well maintained
A very good stay and would highly recommend Nothing
- Liz (8/5): Warm inviting place to stay - Clean, good location, plenty of space, warm and inviting with essentials already in place. Mattresses could do with update and a Smart TV.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Clean, spacious, beautiful surroundings, relaxing, overall lovely stay and very helpful and friendly owner.
- Elaine (8/5): Enjoyed our time in your lovely caravan , it has a very welcoming h home from home feel whiThankyou - Location is fantastic. Lovely large modern spacious accommodation. No smart tv ! Can’t access Netflix etc .
No airfryer ,this would make things easier and quicker .

- Mike (5/5): Comfortable - Great location & park. Excellent food and service from The Tavern. Caravan well equipped with comfortable beds. Park reception very unhelpful. No booking confirmation received with directions to find the actual caravan in the park. Struggled in getting sufficient hot water for 4 people to shower. Could not flush the toilets after every use. Windows very dirty. Washing machine dispenser drawer caked in old washing soap and mould.
- Kate (10/5): Perfect little getaway! - It was perfect for a last minute family getaway - comfy, cosy, and a lovely little walk from the site up to Monteith Mausoleum. We enjoyed trips to Jedburgh, Kelso and Melrose during our stay.
- Mohssan (10/5): Beautiful - superior from every expectation.More beautiful than shown in the pictures. Located in Very peaceful place. I Enjoyed a lot with my 3 kids.
And nice food from OZKAN'S GRILL ( 10 High St, Jedburgh TD8 6AG)
- Glenn (10/5): Very nice place we loved it and we will definitely be back in 2025 - Everything Nothing
- Suzannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy. Lovely design. N/a
- Annette (9/5): Superb - Booked the lodge for my annual weekend break with sisters. Excellent facilities in this spacious lodge. It was warm, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend.
Contact with the owner was quick, and she happily stayed on the phone while directing us from the reception area until we had entered the lodge.
Plenty of parking right outside and only a few steps up to the decking that wrapped around the lodge.
Although we didn't use any of the park facilities, it had a vibrant feel around the reception area, with vendors selling quick food, a bar area, etc.
A small housekeeping item was referred to the owner immediately, and she would work on that at the beginning of the new week.
Would recommend this as a very comfortable base to tour the surrounding area.
- Kerensa (6/5): We had a nice time and the property was ok but not - Having 2 double rooms and 2 bathrooms was great and it was comfortable WiFi was intermittent throughout the week. The TV also broke up a few times .
The fire didn’t heat and apparently not all the cooker hob was working I stuck to the one ring that I knew worked. Noisy neighbours at weekend lovely and quiet in the week
- Steven (9/5): Lovely caravan on a really nice site. - Really nice and spacious caravan on a fantastic site. Some of the pans and kitchen utensils were dirty.
Someone has put salt in the sugar jar, but imagine this was a previous guest and nothing to do with the host.
- Teresa (10/5): Great - Great caravan very central in the park, a short walk to the restaurant and shop The caravan is a little overcast due to the trees nearby
- Carole (9/5): Superb - Lovely and clean.
- Jeanette (9/5): Superb - The location was lovely and quiet. The caravan was perfect but the decking would look better for a repaint and the table and two chairs could do with replacing with some modern ratten furniture suitable for 4 people to sit outside. The weather was nice but unable to sit outside with my disabled parents.
- Emma (3/5): Poor - The location was great. The lodge was nice. The place was quiet. The TV did not work.
The oven did not work.
The owner didn’t reply to texts.
There was no WiFi
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Very good - lovely comfortable and quiet location had problems with the gas cooker, some rings didnt work and only one of the ovens would stay lit
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alam (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Stefano (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shirley (9/5): Very comfortable and relaxing stay - Everything we needed was provided and very good quality Nothing
- Natalie (10/5): I would book again - Everything was there you needed and lodge was lovely and better than expected. Loved my stay The only thing I didn’t like was the decking I found it slippy. I am disabled so was scared I fell. Lodge is lovely I think maybe decking needs renewed and some better furniture outside.
- Sherrel (10/5): We really didn’t want to leave - Gold Caravans is exceptional the caravan it’s self is beautiful a real home from home
The location is stunning
As for the site there is everything you could need food in the Tavern was Excellent
All in All an Amazing stay
Thank you ☺️
- Mandy (9/5): Enjoyed every minute of it, overall, loved it - Location
Size
Furnishings
Space Perhaps black out curtains in bedroom, curtains were beautiful, but for me, prefer a slightly darker room in mornings
- Sheena (10/5): Perfect break - Lovely caravan. Spotlessly clean. In a perfect location for exploring the area. Nothing not to like.
- Mtt02 (10/5): Wonderful warm weekend in luxury 'caravan'. - Gold Caravan was an amazing place to stay, so glad we managed to get a last minute booking. Everything you could think of is supplied, thank goodness for the ice dispenser in the fridge freezer as it was a glorious, warm weekend. Thank you. Having time to only stay for 2 days!
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - Caravan was in a Good position wasn't far from the tavern pub and restaurant , it was comfortable had everything you would need in it even had a room with own toilet with bath in it , and another double room with. Toilet n shower . Decking area was dirty and had a lot of debree on it , outside furniture a bit uncomfortable and didn't feel safe to sit on . Microwave was dirty inside and out , oven trays were all rusty need replaced ,
- Budge (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (10/5): Amazing, stunning, comfortable and great value for money. Best caravan we’ve ever stayed at. - An absolutely stunning caravan. Had everything in it we needed and more. Very clean and comfortable. It’s a huge caravan with separate bathroom with toilet and bath, and another bathroom with a shower and toilet. Both bedrooms were doubles. Huge living room, dinning and kitchen area. Nice quiet area of the park too that overlooks the golf course. There was nothing to fault at all. Brilliant.
- Fiona (9/5): Comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Ideal for a pick-me-up break. - The caravan was more spacious than I expected, with two double rooms each with an ensuite. Very well equipped, comfortable, very clean, toasty warm and on a very quiet part of the site. It has a clear view towards the golf course and we did not feel there was any lack of privacy. There was ample parking for two cars on hard standing. The onsite restaurant was unexpectedly good with good quality food and for mid week in mid February was quite busy. Although the caravan has been well looked after, it is not brand new and some of the trims are flaking a bit. The decking outside is just beginning to rot in places and the wooden steps, while still safe just now, will need attention soon. The gate had been blown off by the recent storms and not yet rehung. Still good value for money though.
- Ellie (8/5): didn’t get instructions on how to get to caravan and had to ring to find it - good location nice bar and restaurant on site
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Inge-jean (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent for what we were doing but also nice to have the tavern nearby if you don’t want to cook for a night. Great birding and the neighbours were all friendly. Wifi beyond the free internet from the tavern would be nice. It was hard to get any wifi in most of the house.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (9/5): Very nice, comfortable, would definitely come back again if in the area. - Location was very good for us, only a short distance from Jedburgh. Very quiet, nice accommodation and good caravan park. Although it didn’t bother us at all the free camp WiFi is quite poor. Like I say it’s not an issue but some people might be more bothered by it.
- Kamran (10/5): Exceptional - Host make sure to provide everything that could be needed. There was extra bedding and blankets. Full of facilities and comfort. Feel like home. WiFi and entertainment facilities needs to be update that was OK but bit old style.
- Kimberley (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Gill (9/5): Superb - Good size
Spotless
Good facilities
Easy check in
- Kenneth (8/5): very good - The instructions on where the Lodge was - ie: caravan park as I went to reception to ask if this was the right place, they became very unhappy that I asked if this was the correct place. OIbviously because it was rented out privately. Clearer instructions caravan number etc: I spoke to the owner and she was very helpful
- Elaine (10/5): Well presented and spacious lodge/caravan. Very home from home feel about it . Great bar, takeaway and entertainment - Beautiful property . Much bigger than the photos . Everything you need is on hand . Very spacious. Nothing not to like .
- Gordon (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (10/5): excellent property - it was well appointed, very comfortable with a great location nothing
- Leanne (9/5): Superb - Fab caravan, would say it’s more like a lodge. Spacious with everything you need. Would definitely return.
- Indiwolf2506 (10/5): GR8...... - ALL WAS EXCELLENT NO PROBLEMS....... NOTHING......
- Andrew (10/5): Quiet and luxurious. - We needed a place for a double stopover on a trip up to dundee. This meant that unfortunately we did not get much time at the property. However, it was super clean and luxurious. Everything we needed to make a quick meal and get a good night's sleep. Can thoroughly recommend staying here. Nothing
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): highly recommend the gold caravan . - fantastic stay , absolutely everything you need and more . extremely clean and would absolutely stay again . nothing , the stay was perfect.
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Burton (9/5): Superb - Great facilities in the caravan and where it is sited It was a good clean accommodation
- Jolene (10/5): First class caravan, well equipped & immaculate! - Caravan was absolutely immaculate & really big photos are deceiving. Lots of extras provided too. Would highly recommend 👍thanks from 3 of us for such a relaxing time at the caravan.
- Nicola (7/5): Good -
- Crolydon (10/5): Excellent - Attire clean bed sheets and perfect Very good place i would highly recommend
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn’t ask for a nicer caravan! Home from home, would love to visit again.
- Sharon (8/5): Relaxed, comfortable and extremely lucky with the weather😀 - We liked how spacious the caravan was. Well equiped and felt like home from home. Very comfortable.
I would definately recommend to others and would stay again The cooker was great but it took ages to light. Might need a service.
Some comfy outdoor firniture on the decking would have scored this at least a 9, only a small bistro set which is great if you just want a coffee but it was so hot some garden lounge furniture would have been perfect. The post at the front of the decking is rotted and needs replaced it could be dangerous if anyone fell against this.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
