• Carla (10/5): Beautiful modern cottage with fantastic views - Beautifully designed, spacious and perfect for 2 people. The host met us at the gate and showed us inside. Peggy and Donald were great hosts, friendly but left you alone if you prefer. We would have liked better weather so we could sit outside and chat with them more. Extremely functional property, great location for access both north and south. The views were stunning, even without binoculars you can see the waterfall coming down the cliffs. There is a Croft Shop Honesty Box/store right down the road with fresh eggs, cheese, meat. Bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows, water pressure good and lots of toiletries, wifi great - we could have stayed longer and hope to return! Cannot think of anything.

• Stefan (10/5): - We have to thank Peggy and Donald for a wonderful holiday. We had a perfect stay in the Causeway and every time after a day trip we looked forwad to returning to our accomodation. The view outside the windows was fascinating and always changed with the weather. We didn't want to go back to Germany, but we had to. Nothing.

From the minute we arrived, we were greeted by Peggy and Donald, who made us feel at home instantly. The cleanliness of the chalet and the views from the windows are amazing. This place is full of TLC (tender loving care). Everything is thought of, and there were supplies left in the fridge for breakfast and fruit on the table also. It is the best place we have ever stayed. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. The perfect hosts. Liked absolutely everything. There is nothing not to like here.

Its not every day the local Golden Eagles visit you almost on a daily basis. A superb location for exploring the whole of Skye. It is exactly as described if not even better. Could not have had a better place to stay on Skye. Nothing. Nothing to fault or dislike at all. A perfect stay.

Strangely the chalet was very warm - newly built and good insulation - maybe some blinds and another fan needed, we did open windows and doors but you need to be careful of midges, perhaps some screens. We did also suggest a telescope or scope to view the wildlife.

We wanted for nothing during our two week stay in October. We can highly recommend the property and wouldn’t hesitate to book again should we return to Skye. Having to leave.

It was tastefully and comfortably furnished, everything you need for self catering. There were lots of additional touches like fruit and other household items being ready for us to use. The property was also very clean, warm and dry, with amazing views over The Causeway. N/A
• Craig (10/5): One of the best holiday properties we've ever stayed in. - It is a lovely chalet property that is just perfect for staying on Skye. It's as well specced as any new and modern apartment while at the same time being small and simple enough to be a great holiday let. Spend some evenings there and just enjoy the sun setting over the sea views (and the occasional sheep wandering around). Peggy and Donald are perfect to let a place from. It was obvious how welcome we were to ask them any questions or trouble them if we needed to, but mainly that they were just so relaxed and organised that once we'd said our hellos and got things sorted, we didn't need to bother them for anything and we could just enjoy our time. Practical details: - Very comfy bed - Decent shower - Good wifi - Nice living room with a good TV (maybe bring your own Fire stick or something similar for ease) - Everything provided kitchen-wise with some basic essentials in the cupboards Nothing.
• John (10/5): Idyllic quality detached private 1 bedroom lodge - Very high quality accommodation. 1 bedroom with large picture window looking down the stunning causeway. The lounge / kitchen also has full height windows with the same stunning view. Ideal for setting up a telescope for birding. The lounge has Sony tv, leather recliner seats, table with chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a deck immediately outside with picnic bench. Glorious views . Idyllic location. The hosts Peggy and Donald are perfect hosts and live nearby. Book this quickly!! What a find. Excellent restaurants nearby. We stayed a week and could happily have stayed longer. So we didn't like leaving.
