• Mareike (8/5): Great location, cozy cottage with lake-view and superb staff at reception - The staff at Jauri Resort was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early with the train and were able to leave our bags at the reception while following their recommendations for where to go and eat in Kemijärvi. They even made it possible for us to check in early. Sauna and lake view were a special treat! The cottages are quite close to each other but as they are facing the water this is not too bad.

Abbiamo affittato due cottege e in uno La cucina non aveva stoviglie e piatti , in una mancava il phon. Inoltre le stoviglie erano sporche ma quello sta anche al buon senso di chi le usa prima.

• Darius (10/5): A wonderful stay - The resort is well known, but this place is new. Arrival and key collection is simple, separate cabins with private sauna. Everything is frozen in winter but in summer - on the lake shore. There was enough space for two although the cabin is small, there is a small terrace. It was well heated in winter. The staff was helpful, provided various information, booked a snowmobile tour. I liked the dinner with local lake fish. Prices are very affordable, next to the shop. We recommend

Inre dörren vid ytterdörren var ur funktion så man måste lyfta dörren för att få den stängd. VC o badrumsdörren avr sned . Det var dåligt med hhyllor att ha kläder i. husgeråd ska för nyas . Comodo il self check-in, soprattutto se si prevede di arrivare la sera tardi. Personale della reception molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con una luce non funzionante, che è stato subito risolto. Ci hanno anche consigliato una escursione molto bella da fare nelle vicinanze. Doccia piccola e poco comoda perché chiusa solo da una tenda.

Le seul point négatif si je peux en citer un c’est qu’il manquait un petit meuble de rangement pour mettre nos affaires :)

La nuit dans le cottage rien que pour moi, à se reposer près de la cheminée, le spa privatif, le bain glacial ouvert dehors. La vue, le confort et surtout aussi l'équipe qui à été top et vraiment aidante :) J'aurai souhaité vivre dans ce cottage quelle superbe pause dans mon voyage. À un de ces jours bonne continuation :)

• Stefanie (10/5): Exceptional - I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. Thank you for everything, guys. 🩷
• Mert (7/5): Freundlicher Empfang und schöne, ruhige Lage mit einigen positiven Aspekten wie Kamin und Betten. Dennoch gibt es deutli - Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, und wir konnten sogar früher einchecken, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Lage des Resorts ist sehr ruhig und ideal für Erholung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Lidl und andere Geschäfte sind in etwa 10–12 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Hütte war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Besonders positiv waren die bequemen Betten sowie der Kamin, der für eine sehr angenehme Wärme und gemütliche Atmosphäre sorgte. Praktisch ist auch der beheizte Flur, in dem nasse Kleidung gut trocknen und Schuhe warm bleiben. Die Sauna ist separat im Badezimmer untergebracht und bietet zusätzliche Entspannung. Insgesamt eignet sich das Resort gut für Gäste, die Ruhe suchen. Obwohl der Empfang freundlich war, wurden wir nicht in die Hütte begleitet und erhielten keine persönliche Einweisung zur Nutzung von Kamin und Sauna. Stattdessen gab es lediglich ein Informationsheft, das für unerfahrene Gäste schwer verständlich ist. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten, insbesondere Snowmobil-Fahrten, sind extrem teuer. Trotz angegebener Dauer von 2 Stunden fährt man tatsächlich nur etwa 1–1,5 Stunden, was den hohen Preis (ca. 300 € für zwei Personen mit einem Snowmobil) nicht rechtfertigt. Die Sauberkeit ließ teilweise zu wünschen übrig: Hinter dem Sofa wurde offenbar nie gereinigt, der Kühlschrank und das Geschirr waren teilweise sehr schmutzig und ölig. Das Sofa ist sehr klein und unbequem, der Fernseher steht seitlich, sodass man den Kopf drehen muss. Die Ausstattung in der Küche insgesamt wirkt veraltet und sollte dringend erneuert werden. Trotz Fußbodenheizung war es bei Minusgraden in der Hütte zu kalt, zudem gab es nur eine Decke pro Person. In der Sauna fehlten Aromadüfte. Außerdem ist die Lage ohne Auto eher unpraktisch.

Il nostro si trovava proprio di fronte al lago e nonostante quest’ultimo fosse innevato (-27º fuori), creava comunque una bellissima atmosfera. Pulizia ottima e personale molto cordiale. Abbiamo cenato in struttura: menù con poca scelta, ma piatti davvero buoni!

Warm and cosy despite the icy temperatures and the staff were super friendly! Would have been good to have a couple of pillow options, the one we got was super hard and thick and to have some coffee in the room but else amazing!

• Delukshe (10/5): Cute comfortable cottage with good value for money - It was clean, comfortable and cosy. Perfect for two people. Great room, separate bedroom, kitchen so that you can cook. The host was great! We could check in early, got a free upgrade, could check out late. The location is great, close to the train station and close to the town and right at the lake , nice trails nearby to walk. We even saw 2 wild reindeer not too far from there (20 minute walk). It was good to have a sauna in the cabin, it was not too well isolated though, so cold air comes in through the window crack. But we still liked it. You need to be lucky to see the aurora lights with the clouds etc. which we were not.
• Kim Josephine (9/5): Alles wunderbar, sehr komfortabel! - Wunderbar gemütliche Hütte, mit integriertem Bad und Sauna - und das für einen super Preis! Im Winter mit Schnee drum herum wirklich sehr schön, direkt am See. Absolut empfehlenswert, sehr komfortabel. Ein Ofen wäre super gewesen, ansonsten alles top!
