Guest Reviews
- Jones (8/5): Overall a satisfactory stay. - It was clean and tidy and the facilities were good. The downstairs toilet and steep stairs.
- Ian (8/5): Comfortable 3 bedroom accommodation - Perfect for work we were doing, very comfortable. Plenty of space. Only comment here about shower curtain. Looked like it was going to fall down.
- Amanda (5/5): Adequate for our needs as visiting family and attending party. - Clean and functional and close to family. The property could do with some renovation work. The shower tap was broken (although we did get it to work and all had a hot shower) and the rest of the house is in need of some redecoration. The kitchen was basically equipped and there was nothing in any of the bedrooms to hang clothes.
- pamela (10/5): Had a lovely time visiting my hometown the house was situated perfectly for places I need to be. - How nicely it was lade out. Spacious the bedroom was very comfortable bed clean bedding comfortable lounge kitchen well laid out. The shower didn’t work
- Diane (6/5): - The beds were clean and comfortable. Bedrooms good size. Decor needs attention e.g
Could do with freshening up
Large bedroom window was very drafty.
Bathroom window needs a blind or curtains.
No wardrobes or any where in any rooms to hang clothes up.
Neighbours were arguing very loudly late Saturday night after midnight and again before 7am Sunday morning, banging doors and sounded like throwing furniture around and their front window was smashed during their argument which was very disturbing to witness this behaviour.
- Glenn (10/5): Perfect quiet location - Very comfortable and clean with great comunication Nothing
- Katie (7/5): -
- Paul (4/5): - Everything you need very well equipped and a handy location. Lack of finishing, paint peeling off walls due to damp, scratched paintwork, poorly decorated especially tiling, the property needs some tlc that would improve it so much. At the moment it looks like the owners just don't care.

- Cameron (10/5): - Clean, comfy beds, cozy place
- Alison (9/5): Lovely place, perfect location for us and great café nearby for breakfast - Simple code given on the day I was cold in my room, but the heating was great, I think a window was left slightly ajar. It was a snowy day too
- Andrea (7/5): - It was clean No upstairs toilet
Heating not balanced
Hot downstairs, cold up
- Neil (7/5): -
- Arlete (8/5): Good value for money - Convenient for my plans and big enough It was a cold weekend and despite the heating being on it was a bit chilly specially in the bedroom
- Ageeth (7/5): Prima uitvalsbasis dichtbij onze kinderen - Genoeg ruimte, goed bed, dichtbij onze kinderen Een kapstok zou wel handig zijn
- Sarah (8/5): -
- Joanne (9/5): -
- david (10/5): Exactly what you need - Lovey and clean easy check in good location everything you need for a nice break
- Jackie (9/5): A pleasant surprise. - Used this property as it was near to family that we were visiting. Info said 2 bedrooms, there were actually 3 doubles. Clean, tidy, private enclosed space at the rear. Comfortable stay. Tea, coffee and toiletries privided by the host. Free wifi that worked. On street parking directly outside the house.
Quick responses from host.
Some of the reviews that i read were disconcerting, but they must gave stayed at a different place. This was great. We couldnt find a tin opener/bottle opener.
No plugs in the sinks or a washing up bowl.
No tea towel but there was kitchen roll.
- Mumjiev (10/5): Exceptional - Warm , clean and nice place.
- Morrissey (8/5): Really nice stay - It was nice and cosy and clean Potentially more mugs needed
- Eddy (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Smith (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean and comfortable There was no blind in bathroom
- Ruth (8/5): Suited us, would stay again - The house is immaculate and easy to find. Very comfortable and warm. A little unsure if there was actually private parking but we managed to park on the road.
- Amanda (1/5): Cut "n" shut death trap. - The house was on the same road as the cemetery which was ideal as I was staying to attend a funeral with my 4 year old little girl. Everything. The house is like a cut 'n' shut. The whole place is unsafe, unsecured and illegal. The stairs are built with bits of plywood knocked together and not secured. You have to propell yourself forward to walk up to save falling backwards due to steepness. Coming down is worse. Literally take your life in your hands. The back gate has been kicked off, laid in the middle of the garden , fence panels kicked off, leaving it wide and unsecured for the 2 men to do their dealings out of their shredded sports direct bag. Twice. Blatantly. I had to secure the dlback door with a picture and mop to stop them looking through the window. The bathroom radiator had questionable red something all over it. The 3rd bedroom door was locked and inaccessible but there seemed to be noise coming from inside. Or it could have been the neighbours that sounded like they were in world war 3 from the minute we walked in. A random half a door padlocked., the fire was not secured and wobbled. Chemical sprays, knives and screwdriver under the sink. Spaghetti bol and ice lolly in the freezer. Broken floor tiles in the kitchen but their rules on the wall states no shoes. No smoking yet the back door was piled with cig butt's. Some lovely estate kid threw a piece of wood at the back window. I rang booking.com but there was an issue on their end. As it was late due to sorting funeral plans, I had no other option but to stick it out that night. We didn't venture upstairs again. I had to push the sofas together and we slept there..or she did. I laid awake, fully dressed all night, ready to bolt when the serial killer appeared from the dodgy locked rooms. First chance we had we were out of there. So on top of a stressful funeral I had to find alternative accommodation which incurred further costs. I messaged the property owner and gave them the chance to refund me before I officially complained.
- Laura (7/5): Basic but adequate - Ideally located for us as very close to family in the area. Basic but clean and good value for money. Uncomfortable beds.
- Isla (7/5): Good - We like the location as we were up visiting friends and family so wanted something in sesku which is sometimes difficult to find. The little house was fine for us as we were out each day so just a base for somewhere to sleep at night. Heating system was great easy to use the thermostat and nice clean white sheets. Good little kitchen but we didn't do any cooking and a perfectly adequate bathroom with shower over bath. We would definitely stay here again it's it's good value for money. As I travelled with my sister she got the master bedroom so I had the little back bedroom which was fine but the bed in there I don't is for adults as my feet hung over the end slightly.
