• Konstantinos (10/5): A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Heraklion - We had a wonderful stay at Vegga Suites. The property is beautifully renovated, set in a charming old building that has preserved many of its original architectural features. The design is truly impressive—stylish, thoughtful, and full of character. The apartment was very comfortable, with a lovely living area that included a cozy sofa and a beautiful dining space. The bedroom was set in a wonderful room, with a very comfortable bed that made our stay even more enjoyable. There was also a private terrace where you could relax and enjoy your coffee—perfect for starting the day with a Nespresso. The location is ideal, right in the center of Heraklion, with everything you need nearby. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are some stairs to reach the apartment, which might not suit everyone. For us, however, it was absolutely not an issue. Overall, an excellent experience—we would definitely choose it again!

Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε απόσταση αναπνοής από σημαντικά αξιοθέατα του Ηρακλείου αλλά και απ' ότι μπορεί να χρειαστεί κάποιος. Ο χώρος όπου διαμείναμε, ήταν απόλυτα λειτουργικός, πλήρως εξοπλισμένος και ιδιαίτερης αισθητικής.

We chose it because of the great reviews and the very reasonable price, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, very well equipped, and cleaned daily, with fresh water provided every day. The location is perfect, right in the city center, with everything within easy walking distance. What made our stay especially memorable was the exceptional hospitality. Vangelis gave us the warmest welcome, was always available, and helped us with great local tips and recommendations. His kindness and the warm, family-run atmosphere made us feel more like family than guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Heraklion!!! ;))

• isabelle (10/5): Un lieu parfait pour visiter Héraklion ! - Nous étions dans la suite ENA, qui est extrêmement confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Literie de qualité et non négligeable des serviettes de toilette moelleuses. Accessoires de salle de bain, capsules de café et Thé sont à disposition et renouvelées tous les jours. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter la ville. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants aux environs. Mention spéciale à Vangelis, pour la qualité de son accueil, pour ses explications et son aide pendant notre séjour. C’est un appartement que je recommande très chaleureusement Cela ne nous a pas gênés, mais il faut savoir que dans cette suite il y a des escaliers. Personnellement j’avais très mal lu les explications alors que tout était précisé. Elle est conçue comme un loft.

As a former employee in the Tourism Industry for years, I'm so glad to see the staff and the host treating us with such professionalism! The apartment is unique, with artistic notes, very clean and cozy. The amenities of the apartment exceeded my expectations and included so many items that elevate the stay, which shows that the staff has definitely thought of making each client have as much of a relaxing stay as possible. The location is just perfect, you cannot get any closer to the center than this. They definitely deserve the best reviews and scores that they already have!

• kraptis (10/5): - To εξαιρετικά ανακαινισμένο κτήριο, με έμφαση τόσο στην αισθητική και τη σχεδιαστική λεπτομέρεια όσο και στην άνεση, βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του Ηρακλείου, δίπλα στην Κρήνη του Μοροζίνι, τα γνωστά λιοντάρια. Η σουίτα που μείναμε, ήταν ένα όμορφο και άνετο λοφτ σε τρία επίπεδα. Άνετα κρεβάτια, δημιουργική αρχιτεκτονική διακόσμηση, άπλετο φως, μια υπέροχη βεράντα, ανακαινισμένο μεγάλο μπάνιο με εξαιρετικής ποιότητας και αισθητικής υλικά, καλά προϊόντα (σαμπουάν αφρολουτρα κτλ). Αξέχαστη διαμονή. Στα υπέρ το προσωπικό ενδιαφέρον του ιδιοκτήτη που ήταν διακριτικά παρών για να μας εξυπηρετήσει όποτε το χρειαζόμασταν. Καφετιέρα με κάψουλες και βραστήρας νερού διαθέσιμα στο δωμάτιο με μια επιλογή από κάψουλες καφέ και τσάγια που ανανεώνονταν καθημερινά. Τίποτα. Όλα ήταν. υπέροχα.

• Khaitlynn (10/5): - Unbeatable location on a pedestrian only street with a myriad of shops and eateries. Rooms were beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new, natural and man-made materials. We were impressed by the amenities (bathrobes, slippers, sink and kitchenette facilities) provided. The most amazing feature of the suite, however, was the level service we received - which was impeccable from beginning to end. Mr. Vangelis came to greet us at the taxi drop off and checked in frequently to make sure all was well. We plan on returning with the rest of the family to beautiful Crete and will book these suites again. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room not facing the street. Because it is a pedestrian only area, it can be very loud at night, despite the double glazed glass. Even when the shops and restaurants are closed, people will gather and speak very loudly.

• Papadakis (10/5): Amazing !!!! - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vega Suites yesterday. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuinely attentive host . The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches — high-quality toiletries, fresh linens, and a well-stocked coffee station that made the stay feel both luxurious and personal. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Vegga Suites to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

• MARIOS (9/5): Beautiful and cosy stay - The place is superb and the location in the center of the city. Easy check in and everything was perfect. Two things that need your attention. I stayed in room TESSERA. Since i was on a business trip it would be helpful to have a desk for doing my work. One other is that the entrance door is double but one of the door panels doesn't secure and although the system is with a passcode it leaves you with the idea that the room is not locked.

• wim graal (10/5): Very pleasant. - Beautiful room plus bathroom and balcony On par with a quality hotel. Excellent and super friendely host (vangelis). Location is right in the centre. This can obviously be a bit noisy in the evenening but we slept very well in an excellent bed. Everything was fine.

• Francky (10/5): - La chambre est située dans un immeuble incroyablement bien rénové dans un style moderne et avec des matériaux très nobles (marbre, pierres apparentes). L'endroit est à 20 m. du cœur névralgique de la ville et à côté de notre bar préféré, Philosophies. La chambre en elle-même est top avec, cerise sur le gâteau très importante pour nous, une enceinte Marshall pour une ambiance musicale idéale. La salle de bain est juste magnifique. Toutes les photos sur Booking sont conformes. Revers de la médaille de la situation géographique en plein cœur de cette ville pleine de vie et animée, on entend le bruit de la rue et de la place proche. Pas idéal pour celles et ceux qui ont le sommeil difficile. Pour nous, cela n'a pas été un problème.

Υψηλής αισθητικής υλικά και έπιπλα σε κάθε γωνιά και δωμάτιο! Η έκπληξη ήταν όμως ο οικοδεσπότης, Βαγγέλλης, ο οποίος μας έκανε να νιώσουμε πραγματικά σαν το σπίτι μας! Θα επιστρέψουμε άμεσα!

Φαινόταν ότι έχει δοθεί μεγάλη προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικός, εξυπηρετικός σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε και απόλυτα επαγγελματίας. Μας έκανε να νιώσουμε άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα και σίγουρα θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω! -

• Eleni (10/5): - Everything was great, the host, the room, the location! We were very pleased, would recommend and would choose it for our stay again in the future! Only things I can think of is that the rooms are only accessible through stairs, so maybe not a great choice for people with mobility issues. And that there is noise reaching the room from the street below -because it is right in the city centre- so maybe some earplugs to sleep throughout the night are recommended.
• Adam Gauci (10/5): An amazing stay in a beautiful apartment with the perfect location and a fantastic host. - The host met us as soon as we arrived and took the time to show us around the property, which we really appreciated. The apartment is located right in the middle of town, with everything you need just a short walk away. The design is amazing, new, very stylish, yet cosy. Overall, it was great value for money. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Heraklion. The host made us feel very at home. Honestly, nothing could have been better. Only wish we had booked more days to enjoy this wonderful apartment.
• Manu (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable and central flat with a wonderful host - Everything was absolutely perfect. The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Heraklion. The location is great as well — smack in the centre of the town. Vangelis, the host, is very kind and attentive. He treated us really well and was very helpful at all moments. Everything was great. Just important to know that if you are with a car you need to park it a couple a streets away as the apartment is in the pedestrian area of the city.
• Jacintha (10/5): Amazing! - Peace comfort middle of the center and help available anytime of the day if needed! Clean and has many things available for use that you would normally miss from your house which you can’t take with you while traveling
• MELAINA (10/5): - The location of the hotel was perfect! Close to the buses that takes you to the Palace of Knossos and right in the heart of the city center to be able to walk to all of the museums and points of interest. The beds were very comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised to have mini sewing/vanity kits available to us. Chic and modern decor. The host was very kind and responsive. My poor husband, he went out exploring while I was asleep from jet lag and forgot he needed the building key AND the door code to get in the room. I was dead asleep and didn't hear him at our room door and left my phone on silent so I didn't hear his texts or calls. My husband called the hotel management team and they were able to confirm that he was indeed supposed to be there and gave him the room code to come in. They were very quick and responsive to him. Very warm and gracious hosts! I would DEFINITELY stay at Vegga Suites again the next time I'm in Heraklion. Not a complaint. It was delightful!

Wir wurden persönlich von Vangelis empfangen - vorab auch schon Hilfe beim Parken und Transprt der Koffer geholfen. Das Appartement ist wunderschön und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Because of its central location at night you can hear the party people singing and laughing. It is not a good venue if you are .mobility challenged due to the stairs.

The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit — from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy bedding and a lovely balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. The location was ideal, close to the city center, shops, and great local tavernas, yet peaceful and relaxing at night. A special mention must go to Mr. Vaggelis, the owner, who truly made our experience unforgettable. He welcomed us warmly, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His kindness and hospitality reflect the genuine Cretan spirit — he’s simply the best host we’ve ever had! We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Heraklion. We would love to come back again soon — thank you, Mr. Vaggelis, for everything! -
• Michelle (10/5): - From the point of booking, the owner of Vegga suites made contact with us and was very attentive. Even walked to greet us on arrival at 5am, made reservations at a restaurant he recommended and was in his words “at our disposal” during our stay in Crete even after we left Heraklion to move to our beach holiday. Location wise, the suites are in a prime location to explore the historical areas in Heraklion and enjoy a bit of retail therapy while enjoying the Cretan culture and hospitality The suites themselves…….. WOW!!! They are stunning, the styling is beautifully done, very luxurious and the attention to detail is amazing. The owner has thought of everything that you could possibly want and our only regret was not staying there a little longer, but we will definitely be back in the future.
• Louise (9/5): Beautiful suite in the heart of Heraklion - The suite is very beautiful and original. Everything was carefully chosen. The building in which it is located is also very well maintained, and everything is tasteful from the moment you enter the building. The location of the building is also perfect to get around by foot all around the center of Heraklion. The owner was very helpful. Just go out in one of the great restaurants nearby waiting for you... There's nothing about the suite we didn't like. However, we would like to mention that access to the building is via a pedestrian street, so you'll need to plan ahead if you're driving.

• Anna (10/5): An absolutely beautiful apartment in great location, hard to leave! - The staff were so welcoming and directions given were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was stunning! One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed with gorgeous designer touches. Fantastic location just €8 from port in taxi and then 5mins walk to apartment. 1 min from hotel to shops and restaurants. Absolutely no complaints from us, but be aware there is no lift and all rooms upstairs. Manager carried our bags up for us. Also some rooms can be noisy at night. Trade off for a fantastic location. But staff did warm us prior to stay. And offered earplugs.

We definitely found a friend in Heraklion. Thanks for everything 😊 The apartment was also just perfect. Clean, cosy and beautiful. We also had our own roof terrace. Nothing to mention here 😉

• Marek (10/5): An impressively special place - This place is so unique and impressive! There are only 4 suites in the building, but the owners put a lot of effort into making it all so great. Designed in a thoughtful, creative and luxurious way. White marble, sculptures, fancy lighting, even their own line of toiletries and high quality towels. My room might have been the most special one, being converted from an old laundry room in the attic, where an old authentic concrete laundry sink was mixed with custom-made furniture and smart solutions. The room also had a roof terrace, which was awesome. Vangelis is a really friendly and passionate host. Every time I saw him around it was just so nice to talk to him. You can clearly see that he cares about the place and the guests. He even chatted with me the day after checking out to see how my further travel was going and if I needed any help in the other city. For a longer stay it would be good to have a closet or a drawer to unpack the luggage, but it wasn't a problem for my 3 days there. This particular room is on the roof and requires climbing a lot of stairs - but then you get the roof terrace as a reward.

Vangellis and his wife communicated with us from beginning to the end, recommended on places to see and eat, offered to help us with the bags (we didn't need), and instructed us well where to park the car. A warm welcome you can appreciate! The room has what you need for enjoying in Heraklion! Take note that you need to climb stairs, as well as inside the room (Ena, the one we stayed), but the hosts note that in advance💜. It didn't bother us, just something you should be aware.

• Mengyao (10/5): - The apartment is fancy and comfortable. The stuff is so nice and give us help to store our luggages. The apartment is close to the main road so it is a bit of noisy in the night, but I have the ear plugs so it is okay.
• Tiedtke (10/5): - Der symphatische Gastgeber Vangelis hat alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt, damit wir uns wohl fühlen. Wir konnten ihn jederzeit erreichen und nach Tipps fragen. Die Lage war perfekt, um die Stadt mit ihren Geschäften, Cafès, Bars und Hafen zu erkunden. Das Parken in der Nähe (9 min laufen) hat auch gut geklappt. Das Appartement war sehr schön eingerichtet: schlicht, modern, aber trotzdem sehr besonders und qualitativ hochwertig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Zugang zu einem Teil der Terasse. Dort haben wir jeden morgen unser eigenes Frühstück zelebriert. Das "Zimmer" ist in drei Ebenen unterteilt. Unten kommt man rein und geht eine Treppe hoch, dort befindet sich ein großer Spiegel, Gaderobe und das Bad. Dann geht es weitere Treppen nach oben, dort kommt der Wohnbereich mit kleiner "Küche" Zugang zur Terasse und mit einer kleinen Treppe geht es in die Schlafecke. Den Fernseher kann man so drehen, wie man ihn braucht und man kann sein Handy verbinden. Für junge Menschen gut geeignet. Wir haben uns gefreut, diese Unterkunft gewählt zu haben und würden wieder buchen.
