Guest Reviews
- Carol (3/5): Very disappointed - Garden needed complete overhalll. Fridge needed defrosting. Flooring needed replacing. Bins needed emptying. Three piece needed replacing. No oven trays. I could go on and on. Not as advertised.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Comfortable, close to town centre Parking very tight
- Gina (9/5): Lovely stay pity garden was not good to use for the amount paid for our stay garden should have been a nice place to sit - Lovely house and good location for visiting the area Settee is not so comfy and bins not emptied too full to put any more recycling rubbish in, garden and garden furniture not good needs attention not pleasant to sit outside furniture is dire and patio needs a good clean. Dog poo left in garden and weeding needs to be done. Such a shame.
- Perkins (8/5): Very good - The welcome packs were a nice touch.
Guide to local area, eating out trips etc Curtains in bedroom weren't a good fit and didn't keep the light out.
Bathroom needs a good clean, smell of urine and yellowing around toilet seat.
- Ann (7/5): Lovely little property top class for location - The location was perfect for everything The only big bear was the blue recycling bin which was practically overflowing!! Which we did make accessible on the day but the bin men took one look inside and decided not to empty it! This defo needs looked into as previous stays mentioned it in the visitors book. But it seems to be ignored
- Lee (7/5): Good - Very clean and comfortable Not a fan of electric showers.
- Hayley (9/5): Pleasant, peaceful, cosy, functional, homely. - Clean, well equipped, good location, peaceful, nice neighbour, very comfy bed linen, loads of storage. Lots of pillows without pillow cases?
Bottom drawer in big bedroom loose, fell off.
Oven a bit tricky to work but great once knew how.
- Gail (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (9/5): Perfect little hide away in the centre of the village - Location is outstanding Nothing to say here
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, we can not fault anything within Cosy Cottage, the beds were so clean and comfortable, the bath towels were luxurious, and it was such a warm cottage at a very cold time. The location was great, it was only a few minutes walk from the main street and was all on the flat which was great for my partner with back issues. For me, it was a tight space for parking and we have a small car,a Nissan Micra, however, my partner was able to park our car with confidence.
- Christine (5/5): Not up to standard - Welcome basket. Very central Cleanliness issues throughout. Garden a mess and uninviting. Kitchen needs full instructions for appliances. Microwave dangerously high.
- Janine (5/5): Fabulous location but cottage in serious need of tlc and thorough cleaning. - Location and good size It wasn’t clean at all. Dishes had bits stuck to them, mouldy shower head, floors dirty, carpets ringed with black from bad cleaning, sofa springs have failed, window unit failed in bedroom, had to get bathroom repair while there. No dish rack for drying dishes, hot water scalding. Too many ornaments for a young family.
- Amy (10/5): Fabulous New Year stay for Seahouses - The location was great for us. The garden was enclosed for the dogs and mainly gravel, so no muddy paws. Nothing, perhaps if nit picking the dining table was a little tight, but we reshuffled and it worked fine, then moved it back of course! Parking was tight, but it's very well advertised that it is a small parking space.
- Mark (8/5): Fabulous, well enjoyed break in cosy cottage - Location was good, small off road parking, welcome packs, everything was there to relax, there was just two of us& small dog, information pack good too. There are a number of maintenance issues, toilet seat very loose, can't access fastenings without tools, toilet roll holder loose, simple job to tighten with Allen keys, small cloth needed on bath screen when in shower or floor can flood, electric socket right side, in lounge, if use that socket,tv develops fault, could be Tv, but suspect socket worn from electric fire use, ( we didn't use fire as heating used) there was loads of fluff under chairs in lounge ( we hoovered on last day) everything else,.... great
