Guest Reviews
- Anthony (10/5): Great place to stay. - 8 minute walk from train station, 2 minutes from shops and bars etc. Clean, quiet, easy to get to, easy to access. What more could you want.

- Kenny (7/5): Great location, nice rooms, but avoid loft rooms in summer. - Beautifully-furnished room. Good shower. Close to Farringdon station. Very quiet at night. Loft apartment was hellishly hot. There is an old aircon box on the wall, disguised as a painting, but it's not very effective and amazingly noisy, so I relied on opening the window and fans.
- Anonymous (9/5): Perfect hideaway in Clerkenwell - Great location, so easy with instructions to get in and very easy communications with owner. Very comfortable and would book again.
- Oluwadamilola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guillaume (10/5): Perfect spot for a Fabric Weekend ✨ - Location and terrasse Nothing special
- Christine (6/5): Convenient location for this part of London. - Great location. A proper table and chairs would have been nice. There's no place to sit to have a meal or work on the computer unless you sit on the old uncomfortable sofa in the bedroom. The barstools in the kitchen at the counter are too high and very uncomfortable to eat a meal or work for more than a few minutes. The bed is a true double, so pretty narrow for 2 adults! The bedroom blinds are old and keep on breaking. The windows need washing.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - A little home from home. Great level of finish and comfort. Plenty of space including a desk. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Everything you need is supplied..towels, fridge, kettle microwave, cutlery, fan, iron, vacuum cleaner, cables - even a large bottle of complimentary water and some toiletries etc
- Jasdev (10/5): Wonderful - Comfortable and beautiful TV issues
- Andy (10/5): Great location and very comfortable - I always look to come back here when I’m in London as the location and apartment are very home from home and it’s always clean and fresh. Nothing
- Matt (10/5): I just booked a third stay so I definitely approve! - Location was great, amenities were very good
- Andy (10/5): Home from Home - I have stayed here a number of times and every time it feels like home and defiantly one that I try and use as much as possible. Nothing at all.
- Darren (6/5): Pleasant - The location was fantastic, great transport access and easy to get to. Lots of options for local shops, food and drink. Mattress was an old spring mattress that wasn't very comfortable and would be nice to see firm pillows. There was drinks left over from previous people and a mouse trap under the bed.
- Jaskirat (10/5): This is a lovely, spacious and well managed property. I was there for work, but it really felt like a home away from hom - This is a lovely, spacious and well managed property. I was there for work, but it really felt like a home away from home.
- Matic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abhishek (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andy (8/5): Great Location and will defo stay again - Location and the property itself was cosy. The shower was lovely along with having the balcony although too cold to use it. There seems to be a lot of clutter about and 2 small fridges when only one is enough. An old white cupboard that is falling apart and could do with replacing. Could use a tea towel also which would be useful instead of using a hand towel.
- Elena (9/5): Superb -
- Neal (8/5): Very good - Nice flat an easy stroll from Farringdon and Islington/Upper St - well equipped and clean, excellent shower and easy to access. I would give it full marks but for three things- 1. The bed is a only a UK double which we found too cosy - there's plenty of space for a king size which would have been better. 2. The TV reception made it unwatchable 3. We got a strange message referring to AirBnB rules (though we booked on booking.com) and saying guests are absolutely prohibited; inconvenient since we were visiting a nearby friend for a wedding and they had to either break the rule or wait for us in the street. Don't let these put you off - it's a nice flat :)
- Andy (9/5): Great Location and very nice quiet apartment. - The location was great for what i needed and the room was as per pictures. The surroundings during the night were good, filming taking place down the road but didn't disturb much and workman working on the place behind didn't start work until 9 and were quiet when they arrived around 7.30. The front view was good to the street below but the opposite building having work done which cannot be helped but look out of the windows to a big white sheet but defo not the property's fault.
- Aydahan (6/5): Pleasant - location location is nice but , the room was smelly cuz of heat, and there was beard hair under the mirror area.
also the air conditioning is insanely loud.. so its quite expensive in return.
- Runa (9/5): Great place at a great price - Spacious 1-bed in a lovely central location. Kitcenette with fridge, bathroom with tub, small dining table, and separate bedroom. Modern decor, quiet building. Would recommend you bring your own toiletries if youre fussy, but all essentials were provided. Small points- Kichen could do with some extra lighting and no aircon so on very hot summer nights it was very warm for sleeping
- Pat (7/5): Good -
- Innocent (9/5): Superb -
- Hannah (7/5): Good location for a relatively cheap room - Great location, general amenities, easy to access and good communication. Furniture quite worn and not particularly comfortable
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - Nice small apartment in Clerkenwell. Perfect for a short stay, I stayed for 2 nights. Access codes so everything quick.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Warm, homely and stylish. Nice little place for a short stay in the city - How homely it felt and the cute little balcony. No guests allowed.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent Nothing
- Miles (10/5): Exceptional - Very unique and perfect location, quiet but close to tube. has everything we needed!
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Kesri (7/5): My Apartment was good. My colleagues was really bad and this spoilt our business trip - Location is great. The Apartment was ready but the owner wouldn't let me check in a bit earlier. My colleague whom I recommended to book another apartment in the same building was super disappointed as the room was dirty and the equipment did not work.
- Sheila (9/5): Superb - Lovely clean, warm, cosy studio. Very cental. Many places within walking distance and tube close by. 2 supermarkets very nearby. Quiet area. Kitchen facilities very basic. Lots of stairs to loft apartment.
- Trevor (3/5): Didn't get the basics right. - The location was ideal for work over the period I was there. And the owner did attempt to resolve issues with the accommodation - some more successfully than others. This was all done over the phone or via What's App as there are no staff at the property - which I knew. He did provide a small refund, regarding the room not being ready when I arrived. The room does have a balcony - but in November it is dark, wet and cold, so adds no value, at that time of year. 1. My confirmation e-mail says ' Self contained rooftop loft Suite in City'. Putting a fridge and a microwave in a small double room does not make it 'a suite'. 2. The room wasn't ready when I arrived and took until 7:30 pm to get sorted. 3. Leaving 'quality control' to your cleaner doesn’t work in my experience. You need a better system for maintaining the quality guests expect. Like the kettle that didn't work and took 2 days for a replacement to arrive, in my 3 day stay. 4. A bottle of conditioner, but no shampoo. 5. Where to find cups and glasses? Behind the framed wall mirror is the not so obvious answer. 6. The towel rail never came on the entire time I was there, so I was drying myself with damp towels by day 3. I didn't mention this to the owner as it would just add to the multiple What's App messages between us. If this was a school report I would have to say - Grade D,... 'Must Try Harder'.
- Myrto (6/5): Very nice location, but an average stay. - Location No elevator and the apartment was on the 4th floor with very small stairs.
Minature hairdryer (if you are a woman with normal or long hair cannot deal with this)
No handshower in the shower
Very small (only for very short stays)
- Gianpaolo (10/5): Very nice apartment - There are two apartments on the last floor. I got one of them, the number 3.
The other one does not have a number and I had two people trying to get into the one I was in because on their instruction messages it was written to use their code in the apartment number 3.
I guess the message is a copy and paste standard that the landlord uses but it should be changed for the last floor apartment with no number on it so people don't get confused.
- Gideon (10/5): A fantastic stylish place - ignore the daft fake negative review! - Very stylish, well located, comfortable bed and good shower. Not the first time I’ve stayed and I look forward to coming again soon.
Those of you who read these reviews should absolutely pay ZERO attention to the review left by some awful and vindictive person claiming that Simon’s property is filthy and had mouse droppings. This is completely fictitious. I’ve stayed here twice now and the place is in good order with no such issues. They clearly had some different issues that they used a FAKE review to get back at Simon - that’s why you should always take reviews with a pinch of salt :-). Nothing. It was a great stay, my second time and I look forward to coming back.
- Stefania (1/5): The worst hotel experience in my life. - Nothing The place was dirty (mice faeces included), it smelled, and the host was super rude.
- Kirsten (7/5): Good -
- Florian (9/5): Enjoyed our stay! - Nice location Missing table in the apartment
