• Annette (10/5): - Comfortable clean accomodation close to the town. 2 good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Everything you needed in the kitchen
• Hayley (8/5): Bit worn out - Great location and good facilities , Very modern and had a nice neutral decor A bit worn out , the bedding EG pillow's and duvet were old and flat and the sofa looks dirty , unfortunately I had a dirty bath trowel with a strange yellow crusty stain on it
• Armstrong (8/5): - Location was good.nice and clean. Host was very helpful. We could hear the other residents above us. The dog they had was very excited all night. But other than that no other issues. Maybe an extra toilet roll would be good. One was not enough for 4 adults.
• Ian (7/5): Lovely stat although come in areas of the apartment - Very clean and well equipped Hallway, bathroom and kitchen were absolutely freezing the whole weekend and we couldn’t warm them at all
• Tracey (8/5): Short break with family - The location was great and parking was within the property grounds too. The apartment was as described but was quite bare compared to the photos when booking so wasn’t as homely as expected. Books and games within the property would be good.

• Kerry (5/5): Nice apartment, spoiled by noise from upstairs. - Excellent, fully equipped kitchen. Free parking space available. Location was right in the centre of Bowness on Windermere. The property allow dogs, but they are not to be left alone. Upstairs neighbour left their dog for 2 hours, which is out of landlord control , I know. But if people are leaving their dogs when they shouldn't, maybe just dont allow dogs. Noise from both upstairs apartments was loud. I ended up sleeping one night on sofa under quieter neighbours as movements above bedrooms (just from walking about) was too much. If booking, upstairs possible quieter option. Tight turn from lane to get put of parking. Also, make sure you read full welcome email, as the essential info on finding the place is at the bottom. Don't just follow postcode.

• sheila (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the near future. - The location was ideal for all amenities - shops, restaurants, the lake, tourist attractions etc. It was very quiet. The beds were comfy. The facilities were perfect. Struggled with the tv - couldn’t seem to connect normal channels but watched on IPlayer. Tried to put the heating on but without success but it wasn’t too cold.

The access to the car pack is impossible for a 4 x4. The sharp bend from the room extension makes it particularly horrible when trying to exit.

• Gillian (7/5): A property that has great promise but doesn’t live up to expectations. - We loved the location as it was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Good sized bedrooms and lounge. Good bedding and lovely pillows. Good quality crockery, pots and pans etc. Excellent help when you are stuck. We were not in the property much but it was sufficient for our needs. It is pretty jaded and urgently needs a makeover - the photos on the booking.com site are possibly from when it was first advertised and do give a false sense of its standard. It needs a very deep clean. Being dog friendly is not an excuse for allowing a property to be dirty. I have stayed in immaculate dog friendly accommodations. A wipe over the blinds would be a good idea as they are not clean. It lacks finishing touches - the empty shelves in the room make it seem unloved and uncared for - in the photos there are vases and flowers. It is not homely as it looks sparse. A few finishing touches and a good clean would make this an excellent property.

• Antonia (10/5): A great little find will visit again! - Perfect location, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really like the peace and quiet but not too far from the main part of town. It is a house so bear in mind you can hear everything going on in other apartments, but that didn’t stop us loving our trip.
• Yvette (9/5): Great! - - Good location, lots of restaurants nearby - Cosy - Loved the side entrance as was easier getting in and out of the apartment. - Certain parts of the apartment could be cleaner. Carpet in the living room had stains and could do with a good hoover as there was fluff/dust in nooks and crannies. - Quite stressful parking at the apartment car park as it was quite narrow and difficult to manoeuvre. We ended up parking at the car park near the old cinema.

Lots of TV apps to choose from if you subscribe Parking There were 3 of us and no matter how we staggered showers in the morning the 2nd was always tepid and the third cold. You hear everything from upstairs, there doesn’t appear to be any insulation.

• Dave (9/5): Lovely apartment, great location. - The location is ideal - an easy 5 minute walk into Bowness. Lovely apartment, well furnished. A draining rack at the sink would have been handy to dry dishes after we'd washed them.

Really great apartment The entry way in and out of the car park was very narrow. I was told this so really is my own fault for taking a big car but I did need help getting out of the car park 😂
• Kathryn (10/5): Quality family time - Lovely few days away with our daughter whilst she was home from university. The apartment was exceptional, spotlessly clean, and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the lounge was spacious but still cosy. Beds were super comfy, and the location, although very central, was so peaceful and relaxing. Plus, it was easy to find with ample parking. Couldn't fault this apartment at all. It was fabulous. Already recommended it to friends.

• Samson (8/5): Very good - Location, Car Parking, Property Facilities and the freedom to co.e and go as you please. Access road very tight and very tight turn into the property, worse on exiting (it does mention this in the property description). Pillows are very firm and the kitchen and bathroom are very cold. We tended to use the side entrance to the property as by using the main door you tended to bring alot of pine needles onto the living room carpet. Access to a hoover would be great.

The SatNav takes you to the property but you cannot access it due to a narrow lane and bollard. Phoned owner on arrival and sorted the alternative directions quickly. I think a note should be put on the property details explaining this, so anyone arriving is aware of the route straight to the property.

Pillows… I know it’s picky maybe.. 🤔 but it was like a slab of cement under my head 😬 I’m used to duck down pillows so .. the pillows were hard for me 🥴

Drive way is too narrow and most likely will damage large size cars unless the driver is an expert.Unfortunately I am not and am going to pay the price for that.

• Charlotte (9/5): Lovely apartment, good location, easy to book! - Location was great, but not practical for large cars to get into the car park. The entrance is a little tired and dated and needs freshening up, this does not reflect the quality of the inside of the apartment.

• Noor (10/5): Lovely hotel and value for money, walking distance to the attractions. - The property was clean and spacious. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with all the crockery and utensils as well as cooking oil. The alley way to the carpark is the downside of the property. It was just nice for our Volvo XC60 SUV to drive through. I have to go out of the car and give directions for my husband so he doesn’t bump into the wall.

• Samson (9/5): Rossett Pike Review - Lovely clean, well equipped apartment in an ideal location, a 2 minute walk from the various bars restaurants and shops. Could have done with a larger Duvet and softer pillows. The living room and bedrooms had ample heating but we found the kitchen and bathroom areas were very cold. This could be the result of the very cold weather we had during our stay. (Icy conditions). The lane leading to the front entrance was very tight with very little room for maneuvering. (This was explained in the property description). Once in there was plenty of parking space. Would highly recommend the property and would return.

Which made us not want to take the car out every day and as I have a bad knee then we were limited where to go. Mattress in the double room was filthy.

Parking available. Nice towels and white bedding. The accommodation was a bit difficult to find at the end of a long narrow back lane. The turning from the property into the lane would be tricky for people with a big car. The layout of the apartment is a little strange with a bedroom off the kitchen. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were hard and lumpy. The automatic light between the bedroom and the hall was irritating especially with a dog roaming around. The shower was good but for elderly people would be difficult with quite a big step. Apart from a bench in the car park nowhere to sit outside.
