• Victoria (10/5): Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit gutem Animationsprogramm und gutem Essen - Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Badezimmer ist sehr neuwertig und elegant. Das Bett ist groß und bequem. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer die leicht zu bedienen ist. Der Fernseher im Zimmer funktioniert einwandfrei und hat viele Programme in verschiedenen Sprachen (Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch, Polnisch, etc.). Der Balkon ist geräumig und hat Sitzmöglichkeiten, sowie Pflanzen am Balkongelände. Das Personal hat immer eine sehr gute Arbeit beim Aufräumen des Zimmers geleistet. Das Frühstück ist neutral und eignet sich für die meisten Kund*innen. Das Abendessen hatte jeden Abend etwas anderes zu bieten und war thematisch (asiatische Küche, lateinamerikanische Küche). Es gibt einen 1,40 m tiefen Pool für Erwachsene, sodass auch Nichtschwimmer das Wasser genießen können. Zudem gibt es einen Babypool und einen Spielplatz im Außenbereich und ist somit perfekt geeignet für Familienurlaube mit Kindern. Der Strandbereich hat eine großzügige Grünfläche mit vielen Palmen und bietet ein schönen Bereich zum Entspannen. Es gibt auch eine steinige Strandfläche. Somit haben die Kund*innen viele Möglichkeiten zum Entschieden wo sie sich am Strand aufhalten möchten. Es gibt ein tägliches Animationsprogramm (Stretching, Water Gym, Darts, Ping Pong, Volleyball) inklusive täglichem Abendprogramm (Karaoke, Fakir&Fire Show, Tombola, Tanzshow, etc.). Im Rezeptionsbereich gibt es Gepäckaufbewahrung, sowie eine Gepäckwaage. Leider hat das Frühstück keine so große Abwechslung wie das Abendessen, sodass man schnell gelangweilt ist von dem Essen. Leider sind nur für All-Inclusive Gäste die Getränke am Abend gratis und die Preise der Getränke sind nicht so günstig, sodass am Ende des Aufenthaltes eine ordentliche Summe zusammenkommt, die man extra gezahlt hat. Ebenso sind die Liegen am Strand extra zu bezahlen, wenn man nicht All-Inclusive Gast ist (was scheinbar ein Trend auf der gesamten Insel ist und nicht nur in diesem Hotel so gehandhabt wird). Eine Liege kostet 4€ pro Tag und auch hier kommt eine ordentliche Summe zusammen, wenn man täglich am Strand verweilen möchte.

Für individuelle Selbstbucher war es im Vergleich viel zu teuer. Etwas bürokratisch beim Empfang, nachdem wir eine selbstverschuldete Komplikation bei der Buchung hatten.

• Maria (2/5): Not a 4 stars hotel!! Never again ! - The hotel is located on the beachfront, and the sea has a beautiful color. The food is decent, but nothing special That’s it for positive side. It is NOT 4 stars hotel!!! 1. Disgusting staff. The hotel staff is very unfriendly: it was the first time we’ve encountered such rude, unsmiling, and unhelpful receptionists. NOT client oriented. The staff by the pool and on the beach are overly familiar and just as unwelcoming. 2. Wifi does not work at all!!! =you can see the connection but in reality it does not work. 3. Planes. From 6 a.m. until 1 a.m., airplanes fly overhead non-stop 4. We tried to play billiards at the hotel, but the air conditioning in that area is turned up to the maximum, making it unbearably cold. In a whole week, I didn’t see a single person there, and other guests also complained about how cold it was in that part of the hotel. The reception refused to turn the air conditioning down. So we went out to pay the pool outside… 5. Sunbeds on the beach are not free: it’s €8 for two sunbeds + an umbrella, or €4 for a single sunbed without an umbrella. What really surprised me is that by 8:00–8:30 a.m., guests rush to occupy the free sunbeds by the pool. If you come after 9:30, it’s unlikely you’ll find a spot. You’ll see that around 70% of the sunbeds are taken by towels or personal items, but no people are actually there. Some guests ‘reserve’ sunbeds and only show up for a couple of hours a day, while keeping the spot all day long. In well-managed hotels, staff usually remove unattended belongings — and guests can later retrieve them from the lost and found. 6. Sea side is extremely noisy : The evening shows are absolutely low-quality, but if your room faces the sea (and therefore the pool), you’ll have loud music blasting right outside your window until 11 p.m. And that’s the best-case scenario — on karaoke nights, drunk guests scream into the microphone at full volume with terrible voices (with only rare breaks in between, of course).

• Dave (8/5): Good Value For Money - Very Clean, Polite helpful staff, Well located for outside bars & restaurants. Sunbeds were always plentiful at any time of day. The beach is very rocky, no sand whatsoever. You must wear beach shoes to get in and out of the sea, or it’s almost impossible.

• Mikko (10/5): Erinomaisen onnistunut aurinkoloma - Meillä oli pieni epäselvyys huoneluokassa ja ensimmäiseksi yöksi saimmekin huonomman huoneen kuin mitä olimme varanneet. Sitten saimmekin loppulomaksi hotellin parhaan sviitin, joka oli aivan mahtava isoine kattoterasseineen ja näköaloineen. Allas/rantabaari oli tarjonnaltaan oikeastaan täydellinen. Monipuolisesti erilaista ruokaa ja juomaa tarjolla, ja maut ensiluokkaisia. Yleinen siisteystaso oli joka paikassa erinomaisella tasolla. Samoin henkilökunta oli todella mukavaa ja palvelu toimi hienosti. Aurinkotuoleja oli riittävästi, mikä ei Kreikassa ole aina itsestään selvää. Tämä hotelli soveltuu erinomaisesti laadukkaaseen rantalomaan mielestäni. Varsinainen ravintola oli hiukan pettymys. Päivällisen jälkiruokapöytä oli kyllä hyvä poikkeuksena muusta, eli ruoat olivat aika lailla mauttomia. Valikoima oli laaja, mutta maut eivät häikäisseet. "Tzatzikista" en ole vieläkään varma oliko se tarkoitettu tzatzikiksi (allasravintolan annoksissa taas tzatziki oli aivan loistavaa). Aamiaisella kahvi oli automaattitavaraa ja huonoa sellaista, samoin "tuoremehut" otettiin automaatista, jossa selvästikin tiiviste sekoitettiin veteen. Säädöt tai juomien laadut olivat aivan pielessä, koska mehut maistuivat lähinnä vedeltä. Mielestäni muuten tuon tason hotellin aamiaisella kahvin ja tuoremehun pitäisi olla edes kohtalaista.

(לא סתם חזרנו פעם שנייה) מומלץ כפי שכתבתי מעלה, לא המלון הכי מפונפן ברודוס, אבל לא פוגם בחופשה כלל

• Agnieszka (9/5): Świetny hotel na miły wypoczynek. - Bardzo fajny obiekt, dobrze utrzymany, z bardzo ładnym i pomysłowym ogrodem oraz zagospodarowaniem. Bezpośredni dostęp do plaży. Płatna strefa leżaków. Duży wybór jedzenia zarówno na śniadania jak i na kolacje, bardzo smacznie przyrządzone. Sympatyczna obsługa. Klient czuje się zaopiekowany. Pokoje przestrzenne, czyste, codziennie sprzątane. Hotel wydaje ręczniki plażowe. Po wymeldowaniu w dniu wyjazdu nadal można korzystać z atrakcji obiektu oraz zarezerwować prysznic. Duży basen przystosowany dla osób z niepełnosprawnością. Hotel współpracuje z firmami przewozowymi, w związku z tym dobra komunikacja wprost z hotelu do miasta Rodos oraz inne atrakcje na wyspie. Pobyt bardzo udany, chętnie wrócimy. Obiekt podoba nam się bardzo, jednak minusem w tym roku było elektroniczne sterowanie w łazience, które nie koniecznie sprawdziło się przy wannie, w której hydromasaż uruchamiał się samoczynnie przy kontakcie panela z wodą. Uważam też, że w takim wakacyjnym obiekcie lepiej sprawdziłby się sam prysznic niż wanna.

We complained to the reception (3 times) and nothing happened. It was really hard to use the bathroom in that condition and sometimes the whole room smelled so bad. Furniture in the room was really old but it seems clean. The food was average.

• Jess (9/5): Ideal - Lots to do, entertainment round the pool was great, beach access from the hotel. Food was great and there was a lot of variety. One staff member on reception was really unhelpful, after we checked out I needed to use a kettle to make a bottle for my 4 month old son, you would think i asked for her left kidney with how unwilling she was to help. She proceeded to mock us after eventually supply a broken kettle… I guess once you’ve checked out and they’ve had your money they’re not bothered?! Luckily there was a younger lady on reception who did help.

• Andrii (10/5): Гарний готель в Родосе - Готель в гарному стані , красива територія на самому березі моря .Номера чисті , прибирають кожен день .Дуже смачно годують , різноманітні страви і морепродукти Я так зрозумів , що специфіка місцерозположення цього готелю це вітерець і постійні хвилі , тому там дуже багато серферів.Я хвилі полюбляю а так зверніть увагу В готелях 4☆ повинна бути бутильована вода в номері ..., а її немає . Лежаки на пляжі могли би бути і безкоштовними .4 євро це не занадто , але не дуже приємно .Коли на рецепції замовляєшь таксі і тобі кажуть ціну а по факту вона суттєво більша -це не приємно . Попрацюйте над цим

• Katerina (10/5): Це чудовий готель для будь-якого виду відпочинку - Відпочивали тиждень в готелі Blue Horizont. Готель знаходиться на першій береговій лінії і побудований таким чином,що більшість номерів мають вид на море.Номер був чистий, прибирали кожного дня. Чудові сніданки та вечері. Весь персонал дуже привітний, будь-яке питання нам намагалися допомогти вирішити і надати всю необхідну інформацію.

• Anne (8/5): - Large rooms, clean with good air-conditioning, friendly staff.Perfect location on the beach, sunbeds always available. Lack of plug sockets. No shaving socket or a socket near the mirror to use hair straighteners. Poor lighting. The pool opening times 10 till 6 was ridiculous. Not available for an early morning swim, and if we had children, it would have been horrendous! Having to pay extra for sunbeds as the accommodation was pretty expensive in the first place.
• Diana (9/5): - The hotel is really nice and comfortable. Very close to the airport, which is a big plus. Food is tasty, various dishes to choose from. The hotel's area is safe and the beach is just few steps from the swimming pool. Room was clean and the view was breathtaking! Overall our stay was perfect 👌 The only area I’d suggest improving is the reception staff. While some team members are very friendly and helpful, others could benefit from working on their attitude.
• Ivon (1/5): - Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While there were some positives, several organizational issues significantly affected our overall impression. One major problem was the lack of available sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool. Upon check-in, we weren’t informed that no reservations were needed for sunbeds. However, many guests were placing their towels early in the morning—before the pool even opened at 10:00 AM—to claim spots. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did nothing to manage or prevent this behavior. Even if you go to the pool right at opening time, there’s no guarantee you’ll find a free place to sit or relax. In addition, the pool operating hours—10:00 AM to 6:00 PM—felt too restrictive. Considering the high temperatures in Greece, it would be much more convenient if the pool opened earlier in the morning and stayed open later in the evening. The restaurant also lacked proper crowd management. During peak hours, long lines would form, as too many guests tried to access the food at once, and no staff members were coordinating the flow of people. Lastly, the nearby beach is rocky, and even though you're a guest of the hotel, you still have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas, which was disappointing. Overall, the stay could have been much better with improved organization and better communication from the staff.
• Pascal (9/5): Angenehm & entspannend - 1. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön - nah am Strand (Privatstrand). Etwas weiter weg von der Hauptstraße. Ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gab es einen süßen Minimarkt, bei dem man alles finden konnte. Es gab viele Restaurants und Läden, die sich wirklich in der unmittelbaren Umgebung befanden. 2. Sauberkeit war gut: Die Lobby, der Flur und vor allem das Zimmer waren sehr gut gepflegt. Es war schön ordentlich und sauber, der Balkon war schön und man hatte einen super Ausblick auf das Meer und den Pool! Eine Kleinigkeit gab es allerdings (später ausführlicher). 3. Zeitfenster für‘s Essen: Die Zeiten für das Essen/ Trinken waren gut. Das Zeitfenster für das Frühstück (7 Uhr - 10 Uhr) und das Zeitfenster für das Abendessen (19 Uhr - 21:30 Uhr) sind gut gewählt. Die Uhrzeit ist für Frühaufsteher perfekt aber auch für Leute, die abends länger draußen sind noch relativ angenehm. Beim Abendessen hatte man genug Zeit, um sich zwischen der Poolschließung (18 Uhr) und dem Abendessen (ab 19 Uhr) noch fertig zu machen. 4. Essensauswahl: Das Essen war abwechslungsreich. Es wurde viel angeboten und man konnte immer etwas finden - mal mehr, mal weniger. Selbst wenn einem das normale Essen nicht geschmeckt hat, konnte man dafür umso mehr vom Kuchen essen (wirklich sehr lecker)! 5. Spaß Angebote: Das Hotel hat viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Zum Beispiel das Beachen ab 16 Uhr - wir haben zwar erst am letzten „richtigen“ Tag davon erfahren aber falls jemand genauso gerne im Urlaub (Beach) Volleyball spielen will, kann man sich rechtzeitig an das Personal wenden :) Neben dem Beachen gab es auch Abendprogramm, wie z.B. (Karaoke) Partys. Diese ging meistens bis ca. 22:30 Uhr/ 23 Uhr und selbst wenn man nur vom Balkon aus teilnimmt, hatte man Spaß. 6. Transferangebote: Das Hotel bietet Angebote mit verschiedenen Firmen an, um an die verschiedenen Orte zu kommen. Neben normalem Transfer in die Stadt Rhodos bis hin zu ganzen Tagesausflügen/ Exkursionen. 1. Badezimmer: Das Badezimmer ist eigentlich wirklich schön gewesen. Allerdings haben wir an der Fußmatte klebend einen kleinen Büschel Haare von den Vorgängern gefunden - sah nicht geil aus und war schon ein bisschen eklig. 2. Poolzeit: Der Pool war schön, allerdings sind die Uhrzeiten (10 Uhr - 18 Uhr) bisschen traurig gewesen. Vor allem diejenigen, die den Tag über unterwegs waren und sich abends auf eine Abkühlung im Pool gefreut haben, werden enttäuscht. Der Pool wird nämlich ab 18 Uhr abgesperrt und zugemacht und morgens erst relativ spät aufgemacht, obwohl es bereits um 8:30 Uhr sehr warm ist. (3. Essen: Das Essen war abwechslungsreich, aber manche Sachen haben einfach nicht so geschmeckt, wie sie aussahen. Es gab Sachen, die waren wirklich sehr lecker, aber es gab auch definitiv Standartsachen, wie z.B. Müsli, dass nach Pappe geschmeckt hat.)

• Yulianna (2/5): - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, peace, or value for money. The only + -Beautiful territory of hotel -Consistent daily cleaning Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price. This hotel doesn’t live up to its 4-star rating or cost — more like a 3-star experience the maximum. 1.The restaurant felt like a basic 90s cafeteria. Drinks at dinner (even water) weren’t included. Breakfast coffee came from an old machine and tasted bad; the “juice” was just flavored water. Food was average — I mostly ate vegetables. Seafood (shrimp, fish) which was rarely served was clearly frozen and tasted poor. 2.The “private beach” is only accessible for an extra fee, which is disappointing given the price. Expect to pay extra for basics like a safe and luggage storage and other staff — not acceptable for a supposed 4-star hotel. Free sunbeds by the pool are all taken by 8 am. 3.Rooms were dated. The hairdryer barely worked, the fridge didn’t cool, terrible wifi. I booked a “bungalow with garden view,” but it was actually a second-floor room in a large building — not a bungalow :). 4.The beach was rocky and hard to access. The sea is rough, good for surfing but not swimming. 5.Worst of all was the noise. The hotel is directly under a flight path, with planes overhead every 15-30 minutes. This was not disclosed properly!!! Add to that loud evening shows and poor soundproofing — sleeping was difficult. 6. After sleepless night, I asked the manager for a partial refund to move to a quieter place. I knew the booking was non-refundable but hoped for some flexibility. Instead, the manager was dismissive and rude. They don't care about their clients (commercial benefit is their first priority). One lady at front desk was acting like basic questions were a big burden. 7.The area outside the hotel is unkempt, with nowhere to walk. This was a disappointing experience, especially for the price. I really regret not reading more reviews — some describe exactly what I experienced. There are MUCH better hotels at the same price. I booked this one just a few days before my trip, when choices were limited.

• Daniné Ruppe (10/5): egy jó ár-érték arányú hotel, mely nagyon tiszta és rendezett. Tökéletes válsztás egy családi nyaralásra. - Szálláshely elhelyezkedése, az étkezés minősége, tisztaság, személyzet kedvessége. Az úszómester, Samy és Ben nagyon figyelmesek és kedvesek voltak. A parton lévő büfé olcsó és ízletes, nagyon hangulatos a tenger közelsége miatt. Reggeli egyhangúsága, ping-pong asztal minősége. Fitnessterem hiánya.

• Eszter (9/5): Wonderful holiday - We were on half-board, both the breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The staff were really hard-working and lovely. The hotel is located right at the seaside and has its own beach, which was wonderful surrounded by many palm trees. I don't consider this a problem, but be aware that it's not a sandy beach, you may take your aqua shoes.

• Werner (5/5): Man kann es dort aushalten, fühlt sich aber zunehmend „genervt“. - Die renovierten Zimmer in der 4. Etage sind außergewöhnlich komfortabel. Das Essen (halfboard) ist mit täglichen Schwerpunkt echt zu empfehlen. Täglich bis zu 50 Flugzeuge im Landeanflug. Abendliche super lautstarke Entertainments unterstem Niveau (Bingo, Zaubershow) bis 23 Uhr. Aus der Zeit gefallenes Zahlungssystem (alle Leistungen oder Bestellungen müssen sofort cash bezahlt werden. Und, noch nie erlebt, 4,00 Euro für eine Liege am hoteleigenem Strand.

• Ute (8/5): Schönes Hotel mit Verbesserungspotential - Die Lage ist prima. Die Aussicht 4. Etage Superior Meerblick ist jeden Cent wert. Das Essen war gut. Schön, dass das Hotel, das wir schon seit 30 Jahren kennen, so gut erhalten wird. Am ersten Tag haben wir uns an der Strandbar einen Coffee to Go für 4€ geholt, der extrem übel und abgestanden war. Danach nie wieder. Schade. Abends ist die Strandbar nie geöffnet. Erstaunlich, da es auch in der Umgebung kaum nette Bars am Strand/Meer gibt. Man kann also nur zum Selbstversorger werden oder an die Hotelbar gehen und sich zwangsweise dort von lauter Animation beschallen lassen.

• Alexis (9/5): Good value hotel but consider the plane noise. - We booked this hotel for the last night of our greek islands trip as it was close to Rhodes airport. Our room was a good size with a lovely balcony with a pool and seaview. The bed was very comfortable Breakfast was amazing! So much choice and freshly made omelettes. The bar staff were really friendly and made great cocktails. There is a snack bar near the beach with very reasonably priced pizzas, sandwiches, gyros etc. There is a small shop near reception where you can buy water/ snacks/ suncream etc We had a late flight but there is somewhere to shower and change even after checking out. Plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets. You are directly under the flight path so can't escape the noise. Better blackout curtains needed.
• Jose Longinos (10/5): Excelente punto base para visitar muchos puntos de la isla y cercanía práctica al aeropuerto - Es un hotel de playa relativamente moderno y muy funcional. No es una experiencia muy tipo "local" pero cubre sobradamente lo necesario. No utilizamos alberca ni ingresamos a la playa pero se puede observar que las instalaciones y accesos son excelentes. Los bufettes de desayuno y cena que nosotros utilizamos nos parecieron muy superiores al promedio, bastante buenos. Las calles para llegar hasta el hotel dan mala impresión, algo descuidadas. Un arreglo urbano muy raro, pero vimos tiendas y restaurantes buenos, comimos en uno que resultó excelente

I was worried about less gentle people in the bathroom could maybe let the beautiful glass door hit against the toilet. It really needs a stopper behind the door.
