• Tim (10/5): An excellent accommodation with lots to offer. - The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. A great living area with sizeable kitchen and lots of bathrooms. The hot tub was used a lot! The bedrooms had a choice of pillows, so you could choose a harder or softer one. Honestly, there wasn't anything that stands out as being something I didn't like.
• Khushbu (10/5): Perfect staycation with incredible hosts - I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful – honestly the best hosts I’ve ever come across. The property itself has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and it’s very spacious too. The highlight for me was the large hot tub, which was such a fantastic bonus. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
• Paul (10/5): We were attending a wedding and the property was perfect for our long weekend stay - An excellent property with a very large lounge area and excellent facilities. The property was very comfortable and we had a great stay.
• Martin (9/5): Great peaceful and secure location, large living area and great hot tub - We loved the spacious living area, the hot tub and BBQ area and large enclosed garden for the dog. It was very clean and well equipped and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The fridge etc. were big enough for 5 of us. The games provided were fun and the TV was perfect for the Olympics! The surroundings were peaceful and quiet and fairly close to a lovely walk along the river. The fact the property was gated gave us a strong sense of security, but we weren't far from towns and we were able to arrange a food delivery. Another guest said: "Huge house with loads of space, interesting history to the building, amazing private outside space for BBQs and hot tub! Quiet location in the beautiful countryside. Lots of toilet rolls provided!!" The hot tub didn't warm up much the second time we were in it despite upping the temperature. Would be worth adding blackout coverings to the upper part of the windows in one of the bedrooms (the downstairs one without the ensuite). A second guest said: "it was nice but it was a bit weird that the ensuite loo had a two way view of the hot tub and the blind was broken! I mean no one wants to wave at a man when he’s cracking one out!" So maybe a privacy window or better blind to be fitted.

• Chela (10/5): Beautiful interior and exterior, super clean, friendly and super helpful host! - The property was absolutely stunning. There was everything and more than we needed for our stay. The Host was so so helpful and friendly - I felt so comfortable approaching him over anything as he couldn’t do enough for us. 100% recommend, super spacious, quirky place! was perfect for our party of 7! Nothing. It was perfect.

Not easy to find first time but that one of the plus points. A true retreat in every sense of the word. When we had to leave!!!
