Guest Reviews
- KIRSA (9/5): Very good as long as you took great care on the stairs.seems to be a common theme in Cardiff properties so not really so - Very nice in excellent location for uni graduation Stairs are exceptionally steep, and I mean really steep to point of being dangerous.
- Lynn Howie (9/5): - Great house, with everything you need for a break away. Great location, fab kitchen and nice area outside to enjoy a few drinks. Very quick response to any questions and accommodating of our requests. Would definitely recommend and if back in Cardiff would stay again. Also plus point we were able to bring our dog. If I was being picky, the beds could do with a mattress topper and the Steep stars with no banister as we had someone in the party with slight mobility issues. But we managed perfectly well.
- Kerry (9/5): -
- Suzanne (8/5): Lovely house perfect location and recommend. But shame about the TV not working via internet - Internet would not connect to TV so no Television during our stay.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Stay was great, we were in town for a gig, and this place was perfect for us - Great location, plenty to walk to, even the city centre (in about 30minutes)
- Emily (9/5): Great property and location - Great property, clean and comfortable. Lovely bakery a few doors up. Easy 20min walk to Cardiff castle and I loved the cemetery, so amazing to walk around. Bed was very soft but that’s my preference
- Cedric (9/5): Wonderful stay - The property was perfect for our needs and the equipped kitchen exceeded our expectations, and huge bonus to have 2 bathrooms and toilets! It is nice to have an enclosed, cosy outdoor space , although the rain didn't allow us to enjoy it. Kim came very promptly when we needed help, very much appreciated! There was some noisy gas work on the streets, which also made parking a bit tricky. But I guess it'll be all good when the work is completed. Sofa bed is a great, but could more comfy.
- Alex (9/5): A lovely well equipped home. - The kitchen was well equipped. The property was easy to heat up and beds were comfortable. Host was very friendly. It was also quiet. Our tiny suggestion for an improvement would be a better TV and a sofa that was a bit more 'snuggly'! ;) but i appreciate that it is also a sofa bed.
- Sarah (8/5): Very pleasant place to stay - Clean, functional
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. It is ideal if you want to cook for yourself rather than going out to eat. The entire house was very clean. The central heating kept the house warm when needed. Fresh bed linen and towels were provided halfway through our stay. Unfortunately, the shower in the main bathroom had been damaged before we arrived and could not be used. There is another shower in the bathroom on the second floor, but it is a bit cramped.
- Madeline (8/5): Good - It was positioned really well and a lovely house. Only one shower out of the 2 were working and there was no option for central heating, we were freezing cold.
- Umair (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - House was perfect. Probably the most well equipped property we’ve ever stayed in. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay
- Carole (8/5): Great location with a lovely kitchen, dining area and living space plus a bonus small outdoor area. - The location to see my daughter at her university halls was excellent. We had a dog so the cemetery across the road was perfect to walk around. We could also walk to a few coffee shops and small local independent restaurants. The heating and hot water system is very effective. The house was cosy and very well equipped. I did ask for more firewood to be left and this was not the case. However the host was very responsive and dropped off a big bag of wood, kindling and fire lighters during our stay. The bath is impossible to use. You can't get in or out of it safely. Perhaps a small step ladder can be provided to help facilitate the use of the unusual bath. We also found it a bit of a struggle to find parking across the street - it is free but the whole area knows about the free on-street parking so it was tricky to park on Sunday night.
- Peggy (9/5): Very comfortable. Owner very helpful. Would use again -
- Claire (10/5): Amazing perfectly positioned pad - Perfectly positioned pad , exactly what it says , i we came back home to Cardiff to visit my family and friends. Loved the location, loved the area , loved the house . Highly recommend, definitely looking into staying again .Thank you to Kim who was on hand if we needed to ask any questions or there if we needed them . Parking was a bit tricky but we have a disabled badge which helped with parking in the same spot most days and evening. But of course wasn't always available but it was OK.
- Fatemah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean
Very modern Nothing.
- Sanj (10/5): Exceptional - Kim was the ideal host and communicated well with us. The property was lovely and in a good location with local shops and close enough to the city centre. The rooms were a nice size and the kitchen was well equipped. We look forward to staying again.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great location near to Roath Park and many veru good greek (and other) restaurants. Just over 25 minute walk into Cardiff centre. Fabulous well equipped kitchen and very friendly and helpful hosts. WiFi is available at the property. The mobile number on Booking in unobtainable. Property could have been a little cleaner but I put that down to our very late (last minute booking).
