Guest Reviews
- Carol (10/5): Quaint and great location with parking & secure garden for dog - Compact but comfortable The sofa was not very comfortable as a sofa but lovely as a bed.
The garden would be nicer if tidied up a bit
- sarah (10/5): Great for short break - Location Nothing
- Linda (8/5): Great location - Great location, very clean and very well arranged.
- Caitlin (6/5): Fun girly sleepover - Very cute aesthetic! That it didn’t have a dishwasher, as stated. Instructions a little unclear as to how to set up the room/ bed. Could be insulated?
- Paul (4/5): We won't be going back. - The location was great. Having got over the shock of it being a converted shed, with one living space.
Very basic amenities.
No arm chair - because there wasn't room for one.
No microwave or washing machine (guide stated there was one). (with a little bit of thought, you could put a microwave & small washing machine into the ‘strange’, cheap, after thought, cupboards next to the oven). Oh & no-where to hang your towel & clothes while showering. Talking of the toilet & shower, the door & shower door is only 14" ish wide - breath in.
- Gavin (6/5): When the next door building works stop & the cleaning company is changed it will be a great little place - A great location Poor cleanliness, constant building work next to property including weekends from 8am
- Julie (9/5): A tiny, hidden gem of bijou niceness!! -
- Serena (10/5): We look forward to staying again soon - Great location, Very dog friendly. Peaceful and clean. Bright & airy. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Kitchen facilities were great with large selection of utensils etc. Nothing.
- Cl (9/5): A great fun little place in the heart of Lymington - Quirkiness of the property and location Wi-Fi
- Laura (7/5): Lovely for a short stay - Great location, lovely peaceful setting, very quaint property. Layout inside could have been more homely. Climbing lessons required to be able to access the mezzanine bed! A scouring sponge for washing up would also have been useful!
- Keighley (8/5): Fantatsic - Good location, second bed good for child. Compact but well- equipped kitchen. Safe, enclosed garden. The sofa bed was difficult to pull out.
- Hiroshi (8/5): Nice location, good basic amenities, - Good location to marinas and waterfront. Name on property entrance gate hard to see. Went past entrance a few times initially.
- Jane (8/5): Great location and quirky place. Warm and comfortable. - Location, wood burner Outside lights
- Christina (5/5): We made the most of it but all three of us had to share the bed - Nice location and lovely views The mezzanine was too steep to use and covered in dead flys and cobwebs
The shower was hard to get in and out of
There should be more lightning outside very dark to walk from car at night
The place could do with a good tidy up felt it looked tired and run down
The large table and chairs in garden were rusty and covered in green moss
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Great location
Quiet & secluded
Warm and comfortable albeit no frills
Fun place to stay. Different.
Good value No WiFi or TV (but we did know this on booking)
Maybe door lock could be a bit more secure
Another Armchair or sofa as bed was a sofa bed so had to be remade every day/night
Shower room light switch also switched on kitchen light
Bathroom towel right needs better solution
- Malcolm (7/5): Everything was fine in the end, but there is a distinct lack of creature comforts. - The location is very good. All within walking distance of the town facilities. Very quiet and secluded. The bed is very awkward, particularly for the older person. Clambering over each other to get in and out of bed is no fun these days. If you choose to leave the bed out rather than keep turning it back into a sofa, there is nowhere comfortable to sit and read. Fortunately we had a couple of folding chairs with us. The addition of a couple of light but comfortable chairs would enhance the property enourmously. Fortunately, after arriving in pouring rain, which was very bleak, because the property is quite spartan, the sun came out for the rest of our stay.
- Georgia (6/5): Nice accommodation but is in need of some tlc - Great secluded location but still close to all amenities. Simple but cosy decor. Very safe private driveway. Lovely touch to allow dogs during the stay. We had a lovely break and thoroughly enjoyed the lack of WiFi and TV for a proper escape. The outdoor facilities were quite poor. The lights didn't work and the garden furniture is in need of some proper tlc so we didn't even sit outside. Real shame as the garden is a really good size which was fab for the dog as well. Shame we couldn't enjoy it as much as he did!
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional - The whole stay was amazing The girls didnt like no wifi bitvi loved the peace and quiet
- Hannah (9/5): Chilled long weekend in a fantastic and quirky location. - Stunning peaceful location. Design excellent. Comfortable and well equipped. The festoon lights didn’t work properly but other than this I cannot pick fault.
