- Sarah (10/5): A truly perfect waterside cottage with a fabulous south facing deck. - It had a wonderful south facing deck overlooking the lake. Beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything you might need and more. It’s on the edge of the estate so pretty quiet too. Nothing. Being by water there are some midges and damsel flies but they didn’t bite or even bother us much.

- Fiona (10/5): Beautiful cottage on the lake - Coot cottage is one of my favourite places to stay. It is spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds are super comfy. The view of the lake is stunning. We were there during the off peak season and it was lovely and quiet, which suited us perfectly. I came with my dog and he really enjoyed walking around the lakes. Annabel was so helpful and we really appreciated her offer of early check-in and check-out. Which sadly we were unable to accept due to timings. We will definitely be back again. That our stay was so short!

- Polina (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is so nice, cozy and beautiful. Very clean. It is located near the lake, so you have your own access to the lake. You have restaurant inside the village, but you have to book the place in advance. In around 10 minutes driving you have Lild, Macdonalds, another restaurant. Kitchen has evertrhing that you need for cooking. Nothing. Everything was perfect

We liked it all & Annabel was very good at communicating directions etc. before we arrived and was on hand if we needed to check anything out.

- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean property with a spectacular view! Balcony with seating was great to relax on especially when having a bbq and a few drinks in the sun. We hired a kayak and kept it on the jetty which we all enjoyed having a go on. We also got left some essentials to use above normal expectations which we thought was a really nice touch. Ie cooking oil, cling film, salt, pepper, spices, firewood etc That we only booked 4 nights

Everything provided that you would need and a nice bottle of wine and milk provided when you arrive. Honesty bar with bottles of wine was a great idea for longer stays. Host very helpful when we needed to ask questions. Very convenient for Thames Path. On-site coffee shop and restaurant were great. Need to take insect repellent with you as the midges can be troublesome on the verandah - the on-site shop doesn't stock it. Commercial microwave was a little bit tricky as microwaveable meals that we bought didn't have timing instructions for that power level.

- Carola (9/5): The cottage is really comfortable and is in a really beautiful spot.. - The view is so beautiful. We spent quite a lot of time just watching the birds on the lake. The cottage is very well equipped with lots of nice touches. We were very comfortable. I can’t think of anything!
