• Julie (6/5): Convenient and good value - Nice spacious room. Liked the decoration and the location - central and surrounded by cafes. Staff was helpful. The bathroom was outdated and didn't smell great at times (just old pipes). What was advertised as a sofa bed was a simple sofa (you couldn't unfold it).

• Tomislav Bolonić (8/5): Good place to stay in Istanbul - Location of the property is the best. Bed is very comfortable. Hosts give full assistance and privacy to the guests, which is very welcomed. Kitchen could be better equipped with pans, plates and cups.
• Buteica (4/5): - Location. In the initial room we stayed the ceiling was peeling right over the bed area. We were moved to a smaller room on request (the owner was generally helpful), this smaller room had no view and reeked of cigarettes.

• Costin (5/5): Great location, a building with great potential, but needs a refresh. - The location. Sleeping on the 1st floor is almost impossible. The entrance door is extremely loud and it was used many times during the night. The building is not sound proofed and you hear everything from the street. The bed is not that comfortable. There's a smell in the bathroom and if you open the window you find a mosquito net that's never been cleaned. Cleanliness all around could be better. The whole building needs a refresh.

• Abdulrahman (1/5): Very very very bad hotel , - I didn’t like anything, it was terrible experience , very bad hotel and staff The most bad apartment we stayed in in our life. The AC was very hot, the furniture is old, the floor making high noise while walking, No reception, we waited for long time till someone came to us and we got very disappointed after we checked in. We booked for 7 days from booking and they deduct all the money. We asked for refund as we wanted to check out and they didn’t accept. It really made our visit to Istanbul MISERABLE.

• Joe (7/5): We got what was advertised. Great location! - Great location, clean Stairs, I appreciate that it's an old building but people should be forewarned. Too much unnecessary furniture - sofa, sofa chairs - not enough room for luggage for quick stopovers like ours.
• Andrea (7/5): Has potential for being more comfortable. - Location and spacious bed room. The shower space was very cramped though the rest of the bathroom was spacious. I am small built but even I was cramped in the shower stall when taking a shower. Also, even with the AC on, it was hot and stuffy through the night. Also, to access my room, I had to climb stairs with my big suitcase. Luckily I’m able bodied but older couples, families with kids and disabled folks would find it hard.
• Rodman (7/5): Generally very good. - Great location and neighborhood. Large, comfortable room and comfortable bed. Reasonably priced and staff were very nice and responsive. 4th floor (US) walk-up. Toilet plumbing could use some updating/repair. Street was sometimes noisy at night.
• Juliana (6/5): Pleasant stay - The apartment is well located, spacious and the bed is comfortable. The street is very calm and there is good light entering. The check in was chaotic. The general status of the apartment is wearing out and needs refurbishment. The bathroom smells really bad and the most part of the time the toilet is not working. We contacted the host regarding this issue and we didn’t receive any answer. The support from the host is very poor, even we were not informed how to do the check out.
• Sergey (7/5): Super place for a few nights. - The location is perfect, a lot of restaurants, nice places, not so far from transport lanes. The room was also good except the bed and shower. But be careful, because the location is hilly. It's better to come from Taskim if you are with baggage. The mattress was very frayed. In the shower worked only a tropical shower, a standard shower was broken. Half of lamps didn't work,
• Rainer (8/5): Great place and location, host difficult to communicate - - clean, tidy, stylish, safe, great location On the day of our flight the host contacted us and in between lines mentioned they accept only cash. Despite other information on booking. Host said their card system doesnt work. When we didnt have the accepted currency, host replied they will cancel the booking. Very stressful experience just before our flight - despite booking weeks in advance.

• Bazil (9/5): Superb - Great location and well designed facilities with fusion of eastern and western interior styles. Breakfast in the nearby SaVa restaurant is highly recommended. Connection with hosts can be tricky as there is no reception and you might not have local sim to make a call. Ideal option would be a code/pin operated lock or collecting keys in a protected box

• James (10/5): spacious, great area, clean, great value for money - I just thought the property was very nice and amazing value for money. It was in a really lovely area not far from the main street that leads up to Taksim, so you can imagine everything you need is in a short walk. there are lots of coffee shops near by. The property itself is really nice. my studio was so spacious and I could have spent a week there. The host who met me with the keys was lovely. I had to let her know when I arrived, which i didnt mind, but i can imagine some people would prefer a code or a lock box. Nonetheless. this is a great value for money property.

Unfortunately , the smell coming from the toilet was very annoying and corners in the lower part of the room seemed like consumed or eaten by termites. Maybe we just got unlucky with the room…

Nor was a wonderful host she found great day trips and organised a car to the airport all easily done would highly recommend staying here nothing it was comfortable and felt like a modern Turkish boutique hotel

• Lars (7/5): Stay in a perfect, calm and safe location in the heart of Cihangir, just should get some renovation - The rooms are in a nice street in Cihangir that is characterised by a nice mix of residentials and cafes. It is one of the few locations that are very central in Beyoglu but not too noisy. The rooms are rather spacious and maintain a rather consistent design. We could always reach someone by Whatsapp and got rather fast responses to any requests. The last renovation has obviously been some years ago, and the rooms show that. Some things were just not working and had to be fixed - and this happened, but on request. The originally booked appartment turned out to be sous-terrain - we asked for another and got a room on one of the upper floor. Still, I would recommend to ask for the storey when making a reservation.
• Silvana (9/5): Good option in Taksim area - The location is perfect and the place is comfortable. It has all the amenities and good for a get away. Back side rooms are quiet. The flat we stayed in, first floor, need to be repainted and you can see the traces of some water infiltrations on the walls.
• Silvia (7/5): Good location, bad wifi and issues with cleanliness - The location is very good - 8minutes walk to Taksim square and metro, also close to Istiklal street. There are many cafés and supermarkets in the area. The duplex suite we originally booked was terrible and I appreciate the host was willing to give us another suite and was very helpful. Sultan Superior Suite - the living space - was as in the pictures. I can recommend Frida Suites (superior rooms) for those preferring good location. Wifi was not stable. We had duplex suite first and this was a terrible experience, there was mould in the bathroom and the bedroom was actually underground in the cellar. The room shouldn't be offered to guests at all. Overall bathrooms were not the cleanest ones and there was bed smell. We stayed for the whole week and didn't have any room service, no one took out the garbage or changed towels.
• Martin (9/5): Great appartment - Great, fully equipt appartment in the trendy neighbourhood of Cihangir. Lots of nice restaurants, pubs and coffeeshops in the area. Close to Taksim area. Quiet at night, comfortable bed and bathroom. Very friendly host and easy, fast communication thrue app. No elevator, but highest appartment is only at 4th fl., so not a real issue.

• D1gital (10/5): Pros + Cons = Totally worth it! - The location was amazingly near everything. Getting in/our was convenient. Entrance and door was secure. Central A/C and easy controls. Staff was easy to reach and communication was excellent. The building and room has a great vibe to it. Appliances and facilities were modern and cozy. Great value and I recommend this place! Wooden floor had a squeaky spot. Air conditioner vent or fan made a tumbling sound randomly at night. The safe in my room wasn't working Not all the lights (or bulbs) worked All these are little things that can be fixed.
