Guest Reviews
- Michael (8/5): Short Bangor Trip - Location, friendly staff. A good base, to see surrounding area, or Belfast via rail or bus oprions.
- Patricia (9/5): -
- Robin (9/5): Lovely Bangor stay in great location overlooking sea. - We loved the location overlooking the marina with a beautiful sea view from our windows. We loved the spacious room with a sofa and seating area. The owner Stephen was delightful friendly and helpful. The bathroom was good. The breakfast was great, beautiful fresh fruit and cereals, toast, pastries and spreads. Nil
- Peggy und Mike (8/5): - Gute Lage, nette Besitzer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten
- Alan (7/5): Excellent value. - Basic continental breakfast, fresh fruit, juice, cheese, ham - nothing fancy, but good value.
- Tania (10/5): - We were lucky and had a room at the front of the building so the view was amazing. Staff very friendly.
- Theresa (8/5): I really enjoyed my stay and intend returning soon. - Everything, good breakfast, central location and it also has a small bar. Steven and Stephen are very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It also has a lift. Nothing

- ALAN (10/5): - Great breakfast, great location and great staff would highly recommend staying here.
- Erik (7/5): Ett bra boende med det mesta man kan önska sig. - Ett bekvämt och centralt boende med närhet till tågstationen. Trevligt bemötande av personal!
- Laura (7/5): - Friendly staff. Great continental breakfast. Clean room. Dated rooms. Area under construction.
- Daniel (9/5): - Good location, close to town centre. Staff were friendly and inviting.
- Nina (10/5): Great view and awesome staff - Above all the helpfulness of the staff. Accommodated my dietary needs and made sure I got my special yogurt.
And the view from my room was gorgeous. Very minor things- slight bit tired but nothing worth mentioning.
- Kenneth (10/5): Lovely place! - The view onto Bangor Harbour was so beautiful and relaxing. Nothing not to like!
- McSparron (10/5): Casual girlie break . met all expectations - Lovely breakfast. comfy beds and lovely shower and bathroom
- colette (8/5): - Room was lovely. Excellent continental breakfast. No fuss check in and out. Location. Beautiful view from room 4. Ear plugs are needed for a better sleep as noise from room above disturbed a good night's sleep
Bed quite soft..Just FYI.
- BRIGITTE (9/5): Très bien belle vue chambre top à recommander - Tout Rien
- Lauren (6/5): Suitable stay - Location was perfect for our stay. Room was spacious and included a dressing table! Was provided with an iron and ironing board upon request. Staff were super kind. Smell of cigarette smoke in the reception and breakfast area. Breakfast was basic but okay. Any use of water in the bathroom created an incredibly loud noise which was heard throughout the property all night. Neighbouring rooms were heard also which was very loud. Bed was so unstable, it squeaked on each breath.
- Coyle (8/5): Overall it was a lovely stay - Location was perfect. Easy parking. Nice facility. Lovely staff. Bed was small for a couple and matress a bit hard. Sea views on website looked great. Reality for me was back of house overlooking an alley and load of wheelie bins. Not very romantic.
- Dawn (9/5): - Very spacious, clean and modern. A good breakfast
- Mildred (7/5): Very pleasant owner - Close to train station and lovely view out to Marina Was continental breakfast but was good selection
- Hugo (10/5): - Good value, super clean, great location, very friendly and efficient
- Destiny (10/5): - Parking was easy. Lovely views from the terrace and community areas. Both of the gentlemen (father/son) that we encountered were friendly and helpful giving us tips on things to do or visit in the area. My husband and I enjoyed sitting and chatting in the bar area with staff and other guests. The breakfast was just ok with some fruit, cereals, bread and jams.
- Julian (10/5): Will be back from the island again and be in contact - Always enjoy the rooms, chats and also how helpful all staff members were with requests or assistance. I forgot to grab my keys once from the room when leaving 😅
- Trevor (10/5): Enjoyed! - Great view
Comfortable bed
Superb breakfast
- David (10/5): Nice guest house with a friendly owner - Very nice room with a great view, breakfast was continental but had everything you would want and it was a nice change to a cooked breakfast Nothing all was good
- Tim (8/5): Great find, near the heart of town, with amazing front decking to relax and chill. - Great location. Overlooking the marina (out front, not from the room), close to the town centre. Very friendly host. Great patio areas out front to watch the sun and marina. Next time the carpets are up, grab a bag of screws and tighten the floorboards down. Couldn't walk across the room without creak creak creak.

- Margaret (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and beautiful views across the Marina - It was situated in an excellent position and ideal for our needs The only fault we could comment on was the uncomfortable lumpy bed.

- 382006c3757372fc5115e1e6a72a4a0a (8/5): Location and staff excellent - Location and value Rubbish behind headboards, draws with sweet rappers from previous guests. Electric shower not good

- b86e4ff602d4720dcf1b2f061f98310f (6/5): The place was spotless and the management extremely nice - it was just the size of the bed and room - Breakfast was good. A pot of porridge would be a good addition. Shower was broken - it ran scalding hot to freezing cold every few seconds. Pressure v poor so was not possible to wash hair. I told management of problem after first night of stay. Same second night. I was told that I would receive a discount next time I book.
The double bed is a small bed - the room is v tight and not suited for 2 people to share to get a good night's sleep. I should have checked before booking.
- 5b9cea886de97225322e03468971e793 (10/5): Amazing place to stay - highly recommened - Lovely pplace to stay. Sea view did not dissapoint and only a stones throw form the beach and bay. Steven was an amazing host, the place was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable and had our own Ensuite bathroom and shower. We will definatley stay here again. Nothing, everythig was great!
- 2d08943ab0cb7191c886c3027412afd4 (10/5): Perfect stay - Perfect wee place

- Catherine (10/5): Hidden Gem - Exceptionally Friendly Owner Steven was brilliant and the place was absolutely stunning and spotless N/a
- Lara (5/5): - It was clean and comfortable The room was small, and there was no telephone in the room to call the concierge or reception. The breakfast was shocking. The lift broke on our last day. We had to drag our luggage from the 4th floor.
- JACKY (4/5): A one night stay so disappointed overall, the bed uncomfortable - The staff was friendly The toilet still had poo in it, parking really tight plus I have a spinal disability but lots of steps to get from parking to lodge, we expected a cooked breakfast but just continental breakfast, also noisy from people in next room

- Nicki (8/5): - Location and host Weather
- Boyd (10/5): 100% fantastic stay - The 2 owners Steven senior and Steven Junior were fantastic and make us feel valued. Nothing
- Armstrong (8/5): -
- Pauline (5/5): It served a purpose but I wouldn’t stay again. - Location was perfect and the room had a lovely view over the Marina. The property is very tired looking and fairly basic. The water didn’t drain easily from the bath when you showered. We had to ask several times for more shower gel and for the room to be cleaned.
- Julie (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Great accommodation, location and host. - Great location. Clean. Stephen was very friendly and helpful. Mattress was soft, I prefer firm but that’s just personal preference
- Mavis (10/5): Very enjoyable in a comfortable guest house - The location opposite the marina was a bonus, the rooms were spacious as were the bathroom. A sitting room with bar snd a good selection for breakfast. The owner snd don were particularly friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay there again The wrather !!
- Jide Motajo (10/5): Fantastic Hotel with fantastic host. - The host was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms and bedding were very comfortable. The location was by the sea side and this was fantastic. I will book this hotel again and again. Nothing
- Tina (8/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): - Everything N\A
- Sam (8/5): Lovely sea views with a great location - Had a great time, Steve was very friendly and the room had a lovely sea view with plenty of space. We could also park right outside the hotel which was great, though that might be trickier in peak season as there weren't that many spaces. Breakfast was solid - a cold buffet, nothing fancy but did the job. If I have to pick faults:
- The bathroom in our room could do with re-sealing as it was a little bit black.
- In the night, the lift door outside the room randomly started opening and closing, which we solved by sending it down to the bottom floor :-)
- Martin (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful Very nice place to stay with Very friendly people
- Mark (10/5): -
- Una (10/5): A beautiful place in an idyllic setting. Best place to stay in Bangor. - Loved location, view of marina, decor, size of room, breakfast and Stephen’s friendly and accommodating nature.

- Aidan (8/5): - Steve is a great friendly host, everything was perfect
- Fiona (8/5): - Our host, Stephen, was super helpful and great craic 😊 There was a door with lock to connect the adjoining room which made me feel a little less secure.
- Stephen (10/5): -
- White (10/5): - The host Stephen was very down to earth and accommodating, the room with the sea view was perfect 👌 well worth it! Definitely will be back. Nothing.
- Ann (10/5): - We went as a couple, lovely big room with a view, continental breakfast was very enjoyable, Staff very friendly. close to shops and bars, highly recommended. loved it all
- Steven (9/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Brad (10/5): Hidden Gem in a great location! - Property location was great and the team were incredibly helpful. The hotel was clean, neat and tidy and the room is comfortable and quiet. I slept like a log. If I could add something I would definitely add in the availability of a cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast was laid out really nicely though and there was plenty there. But I’d happily have paid a bit more for a cooked breakfast. All in all is was a great stay and I’d definitely be back!
- Liam (8/5): Quaint and comfortable - Excellent location, views and prices! Lovely welcoming and accommodating staff Facilities are simple

- Alison (10/5): -
- Jibin (7/5): The location is nice and cool, value for money. - It was nice and comfy .
- Julian (10/5): Manx resident travels home - The owner/staff (no clue) were very helpful and commutative when any question was asked. The travelling that I had to do from Isle of Man to Dublin, Belfast and then Bangor. That day I booked he was very considerate due to me getting there later than check in closed. Fantastic! I burnt my toast
