• Ali (4/5): Unangenehm - Ich hatte eine Doppelbettzimmer für mich und meine Freundin gebucht, stattdessen kriege ich zunächst einen Zimmer mit einem Hochbett, weil das andere Zimmer anderweitig in Verwendung war... nach langem diskutieren haben wir dann aufeinmal doch ein Doppelbett Zimmer bekommen. Der Geruch im Zimmer war sehr sehr Eklig! Wir mussten die ganzen Fenster öffnen um gut durchzulüften, nur leid kamen nun die Mücken rein .... Die Bettwäsche und das Bad war ebenfalls nicht sauber und der Boden auch nicht . Da bereut man es schon sehr nicht tiefer in die Tasche gegriffen zu haben!

• Carole (4/5): Hostel in Milan - Its called a guest house but is really a hostel, very basic accommodation and facilities, however the staff were helpful and the area close to the centre and transport.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Chapeau!!! - Soggiorno più che positivo! Personale educato e disponibile. Camere piccole ma pulite e ordinate. Le uniche pecche sono le finestre che si aprono poco e quindi l'aria circola conseguentemente poco ed il fatto che sarebbe gradito avere dei flaconcini di shampoo nella doccia, non soltanto una piccola saponetta... nel caso qualcuno se ne dimenticasse di portarselo dietro! In generale, ottima qualità-prezzo e ottimo punto di residenza, vicinissimo al centro di Milano! Torneremo😁
• Paolo (2/5): 5 sconosciuti in una stanza piccola. - In 5 sconosciuti in una stanzetta striminzita. La porta della stanza era aperta e senza chiave. Il personale entrava anche di notte a controllare. Pulizia scarsissima, senza asciugamani, lenzuola vecchie e usate, letti a castello si dormiva l'uno sopra l'altro. Esperienza orribile da non ripetere.
• Gianpiero (10/5): Soggiorno per vacanza - Ho alloggiato allo Scacco Matto perché mi trovavo a Milano per vacanza (e per andare ad un concerto) e sono stato molto bene. Camere confortevoli, pulite, dotate di ogni comfort. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo. Metro (stazione Loreto) a 20 passi dal portone, sullo stesso marciapiede, bar, supermercati a portata di mano e a due passi da Corso Buenos Aires. Ci tornerò sicuramente al mio prossimo soggiorno a Milano.Consigliatissimo.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Camera comoda e spaziosa, ma con alcune pecche. - Nel complesso la camera era comoda, spaziosa e con un arredamento moderno, il che la rendeva confortevole. Letto comodo, wi-fi sufficientemente veloce per un normale utilizzo di internet. Tuttavia le finestre erano senza saracinesche e le sole tende non erano sufficienti a impedire che la luce dei lampioni notturni e del sole mattutino entrasse in stanza. Qualche volta l'acqua della doccia era tiepida e non calda. Spesso si sentiva gente parlare (sia fuori che dentro l'hotel) fino a notte fonda.

• Verified traveler (6/5): For the night rate, still a good room - Ok, you cannot expect an Hilton Hotel, but we had a good experience with Scacco Matto. We arrived later in the evening and the reception guy waited for us without asking us any extra charge for this. Breakfast really simple but enough to start the morning. I would reccomend it to all people who needs a budget stay and a cleaned silent room.

• Wolf (4/5): Waste of time, screwed out of three nights prepaid - The place at best qualifies as a back-packer hostal. It is located on the third floor of the building to which you can only get through the below street level garage, then pass through two other similar hostals to a backdoor. The entire set-up is unclean, though the room itself was clean. Although the manager stated the room had just been renovated, the flushing mechanism of the toilet broke upon first use. There was no table lamp or night lamp in the room. The hall was noisy with young folks until late. The breakfast area was unclean, disorderly arranged, we would not eat there. There is no parking. The "hotel-manager" was unfriendly, refused to permit cancelling our stay when confronted with our justified claims. Though we had prepaid for four nights, we stayed only one night, then left because his place is a disgrace to any traveler who looks for no-frills but decent accommodation.
• Lotte (8/5): Fint til prisen - hvad man kan forvente - Værelset/stedet var god til prisen. Vi forventede ikke topklasse og skulle bare have et billigt sted at sove for én nat, så det var nogenlunde. Dog varmt uden A/C om natten, så det kan kun anbefales at tilkøbe det :)

In area with 2 other competitors on several floors and lack of view as surrounded by other buildings. Free breakfast included is quite poor with few options and could have been better overall but decent enough to do the job.
• marlene (4/5): não voltaria. - o hotel deixa muito a desejar, a cama estava limpa e o chuveiro funcionava bem, mas o quarto não estava muito limpo, a janelas eram enormes e somente de vidro, e as cortinas não eram blackout, logo, assim que amanheceu a claridade entrava toda no quarto, o café da manha, tinha o mínimo possível, nao tinha pão fresco, nem manteiga, o recepcionista era bem mal humorado, mas não foi mal educado. a localização é boa, porém tem poucas opções de restaurantes, acho que é mais proximo a área comercial da cidade. não voltaria.

• Sara (8/5): 4 notti con un amica - Ho alloggiato 4 notti in questo "albergo", in realtà sono camere disposte in un palazzo antico, la camera era grande e spaziosa, bagno pulito ma l'unica pecca era un po di polvere a terra e la finestra che non si chiudeva, abbastanza confortevole, molto essenziale, letto comodo, tv e aria condizionata e bagno con una doccia buona, per chi si sa adattare va più che bene ma non bisogna aspettarsi un albergo vero e proprio ma una pensioncina, il punto è buono vicino al centro e qualità prezzo lo consiglio, ma ovviamente ripeto solo per chi si sa adattare. La colazione non è il massimo, bevande con la macchinetta e cornetti imbustati o succo di frutta e yogurt. Il mio voto è medio, non pessimo ma neanche eccellente. Però personale carino, tutto sommato siamo state bene.
• Guga (10/5): Nice Guest House - The room was clean and cozy, but the area was too noisy, especially at night. Also it would have been grate if room had a small fridge. other than that, i enjoyed the stay quite much and would recommend if you want a place near center .

• Verified traveler (6/5): Σχετικά οικονομικό αλλά μέτριο - Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν κρύο και έπρεπε να λογομαχήσουμε για να ανάψουν τη θέρμανση τη δεύτερη από τις 3 διανυκτερεύσεις.Υπήρχε air- condition αλλά δεν μας έδιναν χειριστήριο. Προτιμήστε δωμάτιο στην πτέρυγα που είναι η ρεσεψιόν, είναι πιο ζεστά. Το προσωπικό μιλάει ελάχιστα αγγλικά και είναι λίγο δύσκολο να συννενοηθείς μαζί τους. Το πρωινό πολύ φτωχό, ένα κρουασάν στον καθένα, φρυγανιές με νουτέλα ή μαρμελάδα, τσάι και μηχάνημα καφέ. Οι υπηρεσίες οροφοκομίας που ήταν κάθε μέρα συμπεριλάμβαναν μόνο στρώσιμο κρεβατιών και όχι προσθήκη σε χαρτί υγείας (το οποίο ζητήσαμε εμείς από τη reception) ή αντικατάσταση στο σαπουνάκι.Το θετικό είναι ότι έχει στάση μετρό πολύ κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο. Το επιλέξαμε επειδή ήταν αρκετά οικονομικό αλλά χρήζει βελτιώσεων.
• Tobiasf (6/5): Einfaches Hotel in U-Bahn Nähe - Das erste Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, war schlecht geputzt und schimmelig im Bad, da das Wasser nicht ablief sondern den Boden überschwemmte; aber wir bekamen anstandslos ein schöneres Zimmer, das ok und sauber war. Das Hotel ist in einem modernen (häßlichen) Hinterhofhaus; das Frühstück ist sehr schlicht, aber gratis; das W-LAN hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Personal ist freundlich.
• Jeremy (6/5): Hôtel bien placé et propre - Bon séjour dans l'ensemble. Propriétaire sympathique. hôtel proche du métro. Accès facile au centre ville. Le petit déjeuner est peu varié. Mais au vu des tarifs​ appliqué sur Milan. Cela reste raisonnable.
• francesco (6/5): Albergo di discreto livello Buon rapporto qualità - Ho pernottamento per una notte , la camera era piccolina ma discretamente confortevole . Bagno senza finestra ma ventilato la doccia aveva dei problemi ma era funzionante , per un solo giorno e considerando il prezzo 76 euro per due persone diciamo che non è male.
• Salvador (6/5): Hostel bien comunicado - Hoteles.com fueron muy profesionales y me reubicaron en este hostel porque el que yo había reservado estaba cerrado. Estuve 3 noches en una habitación individual. El personal fue atento y amable. Me adelantaron el checking. Pude dejar mi maleta en custodia hasta la hora de partir hacia el aeropuerto. Limpiaron la habitación todos los días. Desayuno poco variado. El hostel está situado lejos del centro (alrededor de 40 minutos a pie), pero muy cerca de varias paradas de transportes públicos (metro, autobuses y tranvía). En metro, desde la estación de Loreto hasta la estación de la Plaza del Duomo solo son 5 paradas, y el trayecto es de 7 minutos. Me ha resultado una estancia agradable.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel Piola, molto pulito e garantito - Praticamente appena arrivata mi è stato comunicato che non avevano più camere disponibili nonostante il fatto che avevo prenotato e pagato, però mi hanno trovato un altra sistemazione preso un altra struttura dove per fortuna mi sono trovata benissimo. La struttura si chiama Hotel Piola è un due stelle, pulito e grazioso, sempre abbastanza centrale ( dista dal centro 4 fermate di Metrò e dalla stazione centrale 4 fermate di autobus.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not a terrible hotel in a good location. - For the price you pay to stay here you expect some things to be worth it, the shower was filth, the windows need to be welcomed to the 21st century as they are really hard to open. The wall had a mark on it that resembled something coming from someone's body that me and my partner laughed about. The breakfast was ok we had a croissant the first morning, the drink situation was just ridiculously bad, we then went down to get breakfast the next morning and got an inch of coffee in a plastic cup and no food, they had what looked like a cat food dispenser of corn flakes and literally the same bowls as my cats they were more like cups, so we didn't get breakfast the next morning all we got was one of the guys just starring at my partner drink his inch of coffee. After all the we just decided to have a good time seeing as we were in Milan, but then we got back to the hotel after our day out to find the cleaners had been and had kindly cleaned our room and also had a good rummage through my bag so that was a great end to the day, I put everything in my bag before we left for the day so no need to go in it but they helped themselves to a little look anyway. Basically no. I would not stay here again, me and my partner travel quite a lot and have visited many different hotels and this is by far the worst one we've stayed in and the worst value for money.
• Vania (4/5): Senza pretese - Abbiamo scelto questo posto dal momento che eravamo di passaggio a Milano. Struttura carina, davvero economica, letto comodo, unico problema la perdita d acqua in bagno, ma tutto sommato ok pere nostre necessità.
• Stergiana (2/5): ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ...ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ..ΜΗΝ ΠΑΤΕ - Οτι χειροτερο εχω δει σε ξενοδοχείο (εαν μπορω να το πω ετσι!) σε όλη μου την ζωη.. Υπερβολικά βρώμικο, υπερβολικά μικρό δωμάτιο, -2 βαθμούς έξω και ούτε καν χλιαρό νερο, το πρωινό αστείο και το προσωπικό απαράδεκτο...Δωμάτια που νοικίαζουν με τις ώρες είναι και που κάποιοι καημένοι όπως εμείς την πατάνε απο τις ψευτικέ φωτογραφίες που έχουν ανεβάσει και κλείνουν δωμάτιο.
