Ouverture entrée/salle de bains/meuble un peu exiguë mais c’est un coup à prendre!😊

• Amahl (9/5): Great place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik - Blue Horizon is a clean, comfortable, studio apartment in a quiet, residential neighbourhood ideally located for exploring Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. It has a large bed (low but comfortable), a powerful shower and small but well-equipped kitchenette. There is plenty of seating and good lighting. There is a corner shop three minutes walk away, with a slightly larger shop, a bakery and several restaurants all within ten minutes walk. It is a 25 minute walk to the Old Town - or there is a bus stop about ten minutes walk away from which buses run every ten minutes or so. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to the bus terminal where you can get buses north to the rest of Croatia. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and speak fluent English.

• Juliet (9/5): Excellent stay! - Excellent location, 20 minute walk to old town, 20 minutes to Lapad, 5 mins to the beach. Clean and the owner was lovely and answered our call late at night and was very attentive when we needed him! I would stay here again. It was clean, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed.

• Cathleen (8/5): Small but clean and comfortable with a beautiful view! - The apartment is small but clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful view out the window. It is dog friendly and the hosts are helpful and accommodating. The location is good and walkable to Old Town Dubrovnik although we mostly took an Uber duecto the heat, especially on the way back. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the unit. The apartment is generally well equipped but could use a microwave.

• Charlotte (6/5): Affordable compact studio, but in a noisy residential location at the weekend - The studio is exactly as pictured. It’s very clean and the sea view in the distance is lovely. Communication with the owners was great and they gave very clear instructions of how to find and access the studio remotely. We enjoyed going to the nearby Rixos hotel for evening cocktails - they have an amazing sea view! Unfortunately we slept awfully on both nights that we stayed here. A neighbour’s large dog barked repeatedly until the early hours of the morning on both nights (even ear plugs and headphones couldn’t drown it out!) Alongside separate neighbours (above and next door) having loud parties on both nights too. Future guests should note that the apartment is a good 30 minute walk away from the old town. The walk is mainly downhill on the way there, but uphill on the way back. We are a fairly fit couple in our 30s, but found the walk home in June heat too hard. However there are buses that can get you some of the route home, as well as Ubers.

• Maria (9/5): Superb - A pleasant stay in a convenient neighborhood, if you are travelling to Dubrovnik with a car. The free street parking outside of the apartment was invaluable. The owner was very helpful when we needed a late check in and in giving us useful tips for visiting the old city. He was also more than kind to provide us special assistance with an emergency we faced with our dog during our stay, which much contributed to deal with a serious issue, while being in a foreign country. Much appreciated.

• Beebee (8/5): Great base for a short stay in Dubrovnik - Lovely view and quite well equipped, apartment is compact but newly renovated. There is a grocery store nearby and it is easy to walk to the nearby Rixos hotel to get Ubers. It’s a manageable 1.6km walk into the old city at Pile Gate. Great base for a short stay to explore Dubrovnik. There is no direct street access so it was a little difficult to find initially as we were dropped at the street below. Eventually we realised it was accessible from a small lane behind and we pulled our suitcases up the stairs/path to the side of the building and around the back. The bed is quite low (but comfortable).

• Jennifer (10/5): Lovely apartment and great hosts - We were welcomed by lovely, friendly hosts immediately on arrival. They spent time showing us around and talking about the location and best places to eat/visit. The location of the apartment is easy to access, especially by Uber taxis. Only costs £5 to the old city centre, there is a scenic walk down into the old town. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and great value for the time we spent there. Great base for travellers exploring.

• Irina (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location, 5 min to the beach, 20 min walk to the Old Town. Uvala Beach is also a 20 - minute walk away . The apartment is newly renovated, modern design, stunning sea view from the window. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, kettle , hair dryer, iron, ironing board, in general everything you need for a comfortable stay on vacation. The apartment is quiet, the exit to the street leads through the garden. The owner of the apartment, Petra, very friendly, met us, gave us a lot of useful information about what to see, where to go for dinner, where the shops are located (by the way, the nearest store is 100 meters from the house, which is very convenient). Many thanks to Petra for allowing us to extend our stay for free on the day of departure, we had a late flight. Thanks to this, we spent another amazing day in Dubrovnik. We are very pleased that we chose this apartment, we had a wonderful vacation. Everything was perfect
• Erman (9/5): Superb - Our Host , Petra , was very helpful. She helped us for quite a lot of request. Room had really good facilities , a big size fridge is included !! Very nice decoration and a guitar on the wall !! .. Air ventilation at bathroom needs some improvement.
• Yvette (8/5): Very good - The view is beautiful and the host is kind, attentive and helpful. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated and it’s only a 20 minute walk to the old town. The neighborhood is quite and friendly and still not far from the hustle and bustle of the centre. It’s been written before but the smell in the bathroom is really very bad; a sewer smell that the owner probably can’t do anything about but which there all the time. It’s a thing that substantially effected our stay and therefor the rate of my review. The apartment is build against a hill so if traveling with much luggage, it takes quite an effort to get all your stuff uphill. Parking is on the street below and free though. The bed (also said before) is really low but the mattress is very comfortable.

• Robert (10/5): Great stay close to old town - Compact clean and close to the main old town. Fantastic view. Bed was comfortable but was on the lower side so may not be suitable for older people. there was also a bit of a smell in the bathroom.
