- Fabio (10/5): Romantico e delizioso - Il personale .
- Grazia (3/5): Zimmer sehr schlecht eingerichtet.
- johanna (9/5): - Lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic views. Useful shuttle service into Sorrento. Good selection of food and drinks. Our beds weren't very comfortable, but it turns out you can ask for a topper for the mattress. We only found out on our last night, so definitely worth asking early on!
- CHRIS (10/5): Beautiful hotel. Fantastic holiday. - A fantastic hotel. Great location, wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Lovely pool area. The free shuttle bus to Sorrento is so useful. The Private path to St Agata is very useful and there are some excellent and reasonably priced restaurants there. Also an excellent wine bar with great wines at a good price. Overall a wonderful experience and a great holiday. Highly recommended. Nothing. Hotel is perfect.
- Francesco (9/5): Piacevole soggiorno !

- Shannon (10/5): Everything you dreamed of in a vacation on the Sorrento peninsula - Everything was great. Lovely property; amazing views from balcony, solarium, and pool area; kind and helpful staff; free shuttle to and from Sorrento.
Tutto ok
- Viacheslav (7/5): Good - That’s was good experience. Very beautiful view and good room. Friendly personal. Overall, it was a good experience, with a few moments. Disappointed with the pool hours. It opened at 10 and closed at 18, if not earlier. We vacationed for three days, but never once made it to the pool as it was constantly closed at convenient times. I was surprised by this schedule.
At night the air conditioner would start making strange noises, we would wake up and have to turn it off to continue sleeping.
- Evelyn (9/5): Exceptional hospitality and a peaceful stay near Sorrento - We had a wonderful stay at Villa Romita. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful – always ready to assist with a smile, offering great tips and arranging excursions for us with ease. No question was ever too much. We would happily return just for the warm hospitality. The free shuttle bus to Sorrento was also very convenient and well organized. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, great service, and a warm welcome near Sorrento!
- Deborah (9/5): Superb - Character venue with good facilities. Lovely staff, shuttle bus into Sorrento great benefit. So convenient for Sorrento combined with a peaceful setting. Loved the walk into Sant Agata . Can't think of a thing
- Brenda (7/5): Good -
- Guillaume (7/5): Good for a one-night stop at an affordable price in a typical old-fashioned hotel - Personal was nice and the room clean. The view is great and the cost/quality ratio good.
- Paulius (9/5): Superb - good breakfast, nice location and staff.
- Annelise (10/5): Great view from room 10 - The view was amazing. The staff very attentive. Breakfast was very good. Having a car makes the stay better. If you have mobility issue it is better to stay at the main building. Location was good because it was away from the city noise but it can be an issue if you don’t have a car (although they offer a shuttle service to the city free of charge)
- Huy (8/5): Very good -
- Jacek (8/5): Good breakfast, great view, mediocre rooms. - Fantastic breakfast, free minibus service to Sorrento, nearby town is very nice. Good service, nice housekeeping service. View on the Sorrento and Naples bay from the 'solarium' was incredible. Rooms were quite old, despite hot temperatures and high humidity which caused you to sweat and prevented drying of wet clothes, they didn't want to turn on A/C in our room (this was especially strange as we were informed that we can turn it on by calling the reception). They said that it is so cold that they have to heat up rooms which is ridiculous. I did not like lack of separate shower but that is quite individual.
- J. (10/5): Exceptional - 1- Location: Even though the hotel seems far away from Sorrento, at the top of a hill, it's only ten minutes away from the downtown area. The hotel's free shuttle service runs every hour and one can easily plan.
2- The view from the hotel of many villages, hills and the ocean is fantastic.
3- A small nice village is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel
4- Buffet breakfast was quite good with lots of choices
5- The front desk staff and the shuttle service driver were quiet nice and helpful. Gloria went out of her way to take care of us, as well as other staff did. I'm
- Jean (8/5): Nice Place to stay one night - The view is quite amazing . It is a typical Italian Hotel . A little bit Kitsch but the room are very comfortable . The quality of the breakfast although was acceptable could be improved
- Sujeevan (7/5): Good value and excellent service. - Staff were amazing, helpful from when we checked in through to check out. They were very friendly and on hand to help with any questions. The villa was a little outdated and limited amenities in the room (e.g. Smart TV)
- Pawel (10/5): Exceptional - A great hotel with professional service. Beautiful swimming pool, stylish rooms, great neighborhood. There was an immediate response from the staff to every request. The hotel organizes free shuttle service to Sorrento and offers excursions. Great neighborhood, quiet, cicadas, restaurants around. Paradise on earth. Very clean, very professionally run hotel. We recommend it to everyone who wants to taste real Italy.Na we will definitely come back there.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammed (5/5): Nothing - We liked the facilities, the pool and especially the breakfast. While we were sleeping at night, we could not sleep all night after 2 women who had exceeded the alcohol limit in the next room had a problem with the hotel staff. Although I asked them to change our room, they refused this request by saying that there was no room.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good - Stunning view. We probably had the best room. Some things might need an update.
- Shay (8/5): Very good - Excellent location approximately 7 KM above sorrento. Very friendly staff and our room was cleaned every day. Shuttle bus to sorrento on the hour and the return on the half hour. The last one though is at 8.30 PM Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices.
Only had dinner once and it was poor.
Both of us had fish and had to send it back as it was severely undercooked.
However there are some good restaurants in Sant Agata. Especially Mimis.
- Rendon (5/5): Photos definitely make this place look better than what they are. - The complimentary shuttle into town. The view from our room and bar looking over Sorrento was amazing. 10 minute walk to a few restaurants at the back of the property. Cost us €70 to get to the accommodation from the train station, so plan ahead or be ripped off, hotel said they’d help us try get some money back but they didn’t. Hotel staff helped us hire scooters for €50 for the day but when we went into town they were only €22 to hire. Pool area is very small. Beds are rock hard and pillows are also flat and hard, we actually struggled to sleep here due to being extremely uncomfortable. No privacy screens on balcony’s.
- Dace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malgorzata (9/5): Superb -
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Using faciliities of main hotel. Sea view from balcony.
Staff were so helpful. Only 2 rooms have direct sea view rest should be called side sea view past other balconies.
- Andrea (10/5): Quality - Fantastic views and a quality hotel full of varied seating areas and lounges. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff were professional and welcoming. No hesitation to recommend. A car is essential.
- Diego (7/5): Good -
- J (8/5): Very good - Amazing view from balcony.
Nice room and balcony.
Above Sorrento.
Adjacent hotel had good facilities Only note would be for guests at Villa Romita to be aware that it is up the road ...only a very short walk....from the hotel which has the pool, restaurant, terrace and is staffed. The Villa is like an annex.
- Georgia (9/5): Great staff, they put a lot of effort to please their guest and feel comfortable during their stay. - The location is nice. Beautiful view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel provide cleaning service every day and they are spot on. I will say they do proper cleaning. The only downside I will say , even if probably this could of been arranged in advance, is that me and my partner slept in twins beds. We would have preferred a double bed, but to be honest we pulled the beds together and we've been fine.
- Petra (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Staff
- Gill (10/5): Fantastic comfortable stay , value for money and fantastic staff - Beautiful location. Great facilities fantastic staff Nothing
- Meghanjay (9/5): Superb -
- Charlice (8/5): Very good - The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. Our deck and the view were fabulous. We really enjoyed eating and exploring Sant' Agata! Would prefer more updated furnishings.
- Janina (10/5): Extremely pleasant - Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Excellent location near Sorrento! The view from the hotel room balcony was spectacular (we stayed in Villa Romita). High recommendation!
- Charlotte (9/5): A lovely hotel, we will stay here if we visit Sorrento again - Beautiful scenery and incredible views. Very clean. Staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Vegan options available at dinner on request. Free shuttle bus was great and such a good idea as the property is not in central Sorrento. Nothing :)
- Aida (10/5): Exceptional - They are so nice and available Nothing
- Akos (9/5): Superb -
- Lucia (7/5): Very nice staff. The quality of room not so good. - The view from the room is really nice. The food from the dinner very good. The bathroom newly decorated and very clean. The room is quite old, old furniture and very basic. I didn’t like the smell in all villa and the room.
- Carpentier (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Tina (9/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. - Fantastic location and views.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice pool.
Very near to local town with restaurants.
Shuttle bus. Would have been nice for a slightly varied menu.
- Metamurphosis (10/5): An amazing hotel made even better by the amazing staff - where do i start? Before we got there Nello, the nicest guy in the world, organised a transfer last minute because our flights were cancelled and we arrived a day late.
there was a gentleman i assume was the manager, that greeted us on arrival and showed us around before taking us up to the villa in a minivan.
the food was amazing, loads of gluten free options on the menu and did I say the food was amazing, we had the sea bass one night, OMG, I quote my 20yo son " the nicest thing he's ever eaten". there was music in the bar one of the nights and one of the staff was singing and started a conga line, wore a wig and had lcd lights in his sleeves, amazing fun.
the food on other nights we ate in the hotel and at lunchtime were amazing.
the breakfast was devine, smoked bacon, fresh eggs, pastries, and more, absolutely amazing.
the service was the highest quality silver service, absolute professionals in every way.
the transfer service was free to sorrento to and from the hotel on the hour and half hour.
the lady on the front desk organised a transfer for us into sorrento for our trip to pompeii outside of the normal hours, not free but was cheap enough and the cost went to the hotel which was great.
the pool was lovely and there was plenty of seating for everyone.
The staff really couldn't do enough for us, really couldn't thank them more for everything they did for us.
I would highly recommend staying here if it was going to stay in the sorrento area.
a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay in italy absolutely amazing. nothing, literally one of the nicest places I've stayed
- Liza (8/5): Very good - The hotel is nice, the staff is helpful, the wifi works well. Breakfast was good too. The hotel is in the middle of nature, something positive We didn't like staying at Vila Santa Agata. We found it far away, taking the bus was really bad on the Amalfi coast. The hotel transfer has a limited schedule. We couldn't have dinner in Sorrento without paying an expensive taxi.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kfironitta (8/5): Comfortable and value for money stay in the beautiful hills of Santa Agatha - We loved the location, above Sorento, at the edge of the beautiful and quiet Santa Agatha village. We loved walking to the village at night, dining there, and meeting people. We really didn't like the amount of people in Sorento so we loved walking down the steep way to the city and coming back with the hotel's very comfortable free shuttle.
The Villa is located on a quiet road with a magnificent view (unfortunately we had a few rainy and cloudy days so didn't get the best view but appreciated it). Breakfast is taken in the adjacent Hermiage Grand Hotel.
I would have loved some fresh vegetables. It was pretty basic, with a very big dining hall (we dined in since the weather was a bit cloudy) which was a bit too noisy and full for us, staying in a smaller Villa.
- Livia (9/5): Loved my stay here - would definitely come back ! - Absolutely loved the location. Behind the Villa - about 3 minutes walk - is a gem of a town called Sant’Agata. It has fabulous restaurants and all the amenities you need - mini marts, laundromat, shoe and clothes shop - its not very big but it has everything you need as well as major bus stop to get to other towns on the Amalfi. Thought the quality of the food at the main hotel could be improved - much better dining options at Sant’Agata
- Natalija (10/5): Lovely place and great service - Such a lovely place, really nice views and service, very kind personnel. Villa is on a hill, 20ish min from Sorento by car or bus, and around 1 hour from Positano. There is a shuttle bus to and from Sorento several times a day and many public buses. It’s a bit too calm in the evening, we liked going to Sorento more, but there is also a small town 5min walk from the Villa and there we found some nice places for food and drinks.
- Saleh (7/5): nice place to be for exploring the region - very good location, breakfast is ok.
kind and helpful staff
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Staff very helpful and friendly from the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out.
Good location - 5 min easy, accessible walk into nearby town with a good variety of restaurants and hotel offers good shuttle service into Sorrento town.
Good selection of drinks / food menu. Breakfast was also very good, great variety and consistent throughout. We booked a room with a double bed and was disappointed to find that it was a room with two single beds pushed together - leaving a big gap between the middle of the beds.
Air con was also an issue throughout our stay, resulting in us having to leave the door open throughout the night which lead to a disruptive nights sleep due to noise of the traffic outside.
- Herz (8/5): Very pleasant und comfy stay! - Service was really good, plus shuttle service to Sorrento was great to get on the fairy to Capri. The view from the room was outstanding. Very good breakfast. Attention! This Villa is part of Grand Hotel Hermitage (same address). The apple/google maps point is wrong, you need to use the address and donˋt be confused by the different name. Had a little Odyssey because of that. Also: Some of the rooms furniture was outdated, but the service and view made up for that - easily.
- Holly (9/5): Superb - Pros:
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful
Free regular shuttle service to and from Sorrento
Great breakfast options
Beautiful surroundings and location
Fairly priced
Good entertainment in the bar Cons:
The beds were hard, not to my liking
- Carolina (5/5): disappointed with the mismatch of the property description/photos/reviews and the reality of it - nothing, the pictures and the reviews do not represent the property too far from sorrento, very limited shuttle hours and availability, lots of noise early in the morning by the cleaning staff, mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, Air conditioner turns off mid day, wifi is unreliable, wasps/insects by the pool.
- Roman (8/5): Very good -
