Guest Reviews
- Yvette (1/5): The property manager was not helpful. Made many appointments and did not keep them. - Nothing.
It was dirty when we got there,
The kitchen, bathroom and lounge was filthy.
The garden was full of canisters and balloons and rubbish bags.
My husband sat on a chair and the chair broke. The manager was informed, pictures were sent, but again nothing was done. Not enough windows for air, dirty bedding in the wardrobe with other unclean items,
The heavy curtain was dirty with only three hooks holding the curtain up
The cutlery were wore out, resulting in us having to buy these things ourselves.
No ventilation, this made us ill throughout our time there.

- Gururaja (8/5): Had a good time and enjoyed the stay - The property was very accessible and convenient. Easy to get to the tube station and bus stops. Really enjoyed staying there. It felt very homely. We loved the fact that it was right by the main road, and yet provided the quiet and comfort feeling of being in a remote area.
The proximity to grocery store, restaurants and public transport was an added plus and made our stay very comfortable. We'd get off from the tube at the end of day, stop by the grocery store, pick up our supplies for the next day and crash into our beds. It gave a very good home away from home experience. We'd go back and stay here again. 1. While the directions to get to the property seemed clear, we still ended up going around a long circle to find the room, once we had already collected the keys. Apparently there is another Davenport road and we ended up going there, as we couldn't initially find the black gate that was mentioned. Finally, with the help of customer service, we could get back and find the location. May be if these instructions can be made a bit more clearer or with a map, it might help avoid this confusion.
2. Once we got into the apartment, we found out that the heater was not working and then the fridge and other appliances were not working. Had a panic period for a while as we were worried whether we'd have to sleep without the heater that night, and no clear help was forthcoming, though we were in touch with the customer service rep. But finally, we were able to trace the problem to the tripped switch in the fuse box and get it addressed ourselves. Hope this can be part of the checklist for the property manager to ensure, while preparing the property for the next customer.
