• Ronald (9/5): Een zeer aangenaam verblijf in een moderne, comfortabele accommodatie in een rustige origineel Grieks buurt , ondersteun - Giannis is een uitstekende gastheer die zeer bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam is. Hij geeft tevens zeer waardevolle tips voor bezoekjes, restaurants, bezienswaardigheden etc. De accommodatie is zeer net, modern en comfortabel met airco in alle kamers en met gedeeld zwembad . Het is gelegen in een rustige buurt in een zeer klein dorp maar met de auto zijn alle belangrijke ziens waardigheden, winkels en resto’s binnen het half uur bereikbaar. Er zijn goede wijn domeinen in de buurt. Als je daar van houdt kan ik zeker Lirarakis aanbevelen. Nihil

• Renate (10/5): - Geweldig vakantieplek. Super aardige behulpzame eigenaar waar niks te gek is. Altijd een goede tip. Bijvoorbeeld:Door hem eten we vaak locaal bij Sofia. Super lekker eten met griekse gezelligheid. Prachtige villa , schoon, nieuw, hoge standaard alles maar dan ook alles tot in detail prachtig gemaakt. Echt een aanrader. Wij gaan hier zeker naar terug.
• Anna (10/5): - This is a very new and spotless villa with a pool and breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea. We came for a workation, so having a reliable internet connection was extremely important for us. The owner thoughtfully installed Starlink, and the internet speed was excellent despite the remote location away from the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook at home comfortably. Outside, there is a lovely gazebo with a beautiful view and a grill area (shared between several villas), but we never even crossed paths with other guests, so it still felt very private. The bedrooms are spacious, and each has its own bathroom, which is very convenient when traveling with friends or family. The villa is about a 15-minute drive from Heraklion. The road becomes a bit narrow closer to the house, but you quickly get used to it after the first couple of drives. There are also several excellent tavernas nearby, within walking distance and just a few minutes away by car. We would especially like to mention the hospitality and kindness of the host — you can truly see that he cares about his guests and loves what he does. Even before our arrival, he prepared a very detailed guide with directions and recommendations for places to visit. When we arrived, he personally welcomed us warmly with treats, stayed in touch throughout our stay to help with any questions, and even helped us find the best option for a trip to Santorini. A wonderful place to relax — highly recommended!

He made us feel at home from the very first moment and helped us discover the area, including the charming village of Aitania and its local taverna. That personal touch meant more than anything else. The property itself is superb—everything you could possibly need is at hand, and the villa is absolutely impeccable. The views from the balcony and the pool are simply breathtaking, offering a fantastic perspective over the entire area. A place we would gladly return to!

Sehr schöne kleine Anlage, 3 Einheiten, Pool, in einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe von Knossos, ca. 15 km von Heraklion entfernt, landeinwärts. Neu, erstklassig gepflegt, schöner Blick über umgebende Olivenhaine, aufs Meer, geschmackvolle Inneneirichtung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Giannis, der Besitzer unterstützt mit praktischen Infos und Ausflugtipps, sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert, jederzeit wieder, vielen Dank, Giannis!

• Sandra (10/5): Absolute TOP Unterkunft und super netter Vermieter - Für die Phyllion Boutique Villas sind 10 Punkte viel zu wenig! Besonderes Merkmal ist die ABSOLUTE Ruhe. Von jedem Balkon / jeder Terrasse hat man Meerblick (7 km Luftlinie). In dem kleinen Dorf gibt es eine Taverne (5 Sterne Google Bewertung!) und mit dem Auto kann man in 5 Minuten einige weitere nette Tavernen erreichen. Ansonsten ist man in 15 - 30 Minuten in Heraklion. Die Wohnungen sind modern eingerichtet. Normalerweise fühlen wir uns eher in traditionellen älteren Wohnungen wohl, aber hier wurde jedes Detail mit Liebe ausgewählt. Die 100 Details lassen sich hier nicht aufführen, aber wir haben uns immer wieder gefragt: "Warum haben wir sowas in unserer eigenen Wohnung zu Hause nicht?" Besonders erfreulich ist, dass es einen schönen beheizten Pool gibt. Der Vermieter ist super freundlich und hat uns umfangreich mit Informationen versorgt. U. a. gab es eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft mit Fotos von den Straßenkreuzungen, da man sonst von Google über schmale Straßen geführt wird. -----
• Jonathan (10/5): Incroyable séjour en Crète - La maison est très bien équipé, il ne manque rien à l’intérieur tout est neuf . Le propriétaire est très accueillant et gentil , il est au petit soin avec nous . Il propose des endroits à visiter et nous recommande des activités et établissements pour manger. Super séjour je le recommande fortement à tout le monde.

• Dimitris (10/5): - Εξαιρετικό μέρος , με απεριόριστη θέα και ησυχία. Καινούργιες κατοικίες καθαρές και ο χώρος για τα παιδιά εξαιρετική προσθήκη . Ότι πρέπει για όποιον χρειάζεται ηρεμία μακριά από την φασαρία της πόλης. Δεν βρήκαμε κάτι να μας ενοχλήσει. Όλα ήταν όπως είχαμε δει κατά την κράτηση και επιβεβαιώθηκαν κατά την άφιξη και διαμονή μας.

Je suis une habituée des voyages et logé dans des appart hôtel mais la villa phyllion à aitania dépasse mes attentes. L'appartement, la piscine waouh, le jardin avec un espace de jeux pour les familles avec enfants, le barbecue waouh. il faut y aller sa ne se raconte pas c'est un endroit incroyable avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Alors Daniella et Yannis son époux je n'avais jamais rencontré des personnes aussi formidable, gentille, disponible. Il se sont tellement bien occupés de moi pendant mon séjour j'avais même l'impression d'être venue voir des amis, ma famille c'était très chaleureux. Je voulais ajouter que dans les appartements il y a tous et rien n'a été oublié. De la cuisine jusqu'à la salle de bain tous. Du poivre, de l'huile du sel, des épices des produits de qualité, des ustensiles de cuisine, du papier aluminium pour faire des repas au four enfin pour dire rien n'a été oublié dans l'appartement.Je suis une voyageuse seul donc l' appartement était tellement grand pour moi et je ne m'y attendais pas 😍. La baie vitré de mon appart donnait sur ma grande terrasse avec table chaise donc je profitais du jardin et l'incroyable vue.je reviendrais sûrement en été. J'ai oublié les restaurants avec de très bons repas locaux à moindre coût à aitania . Je reviendrais ajouter d'autres détails que je crois avoir oublié car j'ai été si heureuse d'être à la villa phyllion. Bah rien j'ai tout aimé car n'y avait rien de négatif il y a que du positif. Tout était parfait.

• Lucy (10/5): Amazing place with beautiful views - The views were amazing they exceeded my expectations. Really enjoyed our stay here. There was a pool which we used and had to ourselves when we used. Also a garden area which our 6 month old loved playing in and crawling around. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very kind and ensured we had everything we needed and offered suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. Would definitely stay again, recommend 10/10. N/A

Sitio muy tranquilo y acogedor. Íbamos con una bebé de dos años, zona infantil y piscina preciosa. La predisposición de ellos para contestar mensajes y ofrecer alternativas para comer y visitar sitio. Muy amables. .

The owner is very friendly and can give you some tips about tavernas, oil factories and others! Maybe we will come back here in the summer if we choose crete again! not linked to the property… but driving in the small villages can be a little bit difficult due to the narrow streets
• Rebecca (10/5): The perfect location for a sunny, relaxing, early autumn getaway! - George and Giannis were both incredibly welcoming and made our stay in Aitania extremely comfortable! George kindly met us to hand over the keys (at 1am!!) and made sure we were set up in the villa before leaving. Both very receptive over WhatsApp and offered recommendations for beaches, restaurants and nearby things to do. Very knowledgeable hosts, even about niche events like the Crete half marathon that my partner and I had signed up for. The villas were beautifully designed, very well kitted out and offered lovely views of the surrounding orchards and vineyards, plus we were situated just half an hour from Heraklion and 20mins from plenty of beaches. We felt very relaxed and taken care of while staying and would hugely recommend to anybody looking for a peaceful few days of relaxing, sunbathing (28 degrees in October!), running, beaches, BBQs and delicious foods from nearby family-run restaurants. Nothing to fault. Our stay at Phyllion villas was absolutely brilliant and would love to return one day!
