• Gianalberto (9/5): Lovely though expensive place in Tobermory - Room was spacious, very nicely furnished with local artwork, and with a great view of the harbour. The shower was excellent. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Free parking on the road outside. Expensive even for Scottish standards. The bathroom had a sliding door that left a few gaps.
• Jean (9/5): Lovely place and would come again. - Location was great. Inn keeper was lovely. Rooms were clean. Our room was a bit tight and the bathroom slider door almost closed tightly.

TV too small and a bit overcomplicated to navigate. No shampoo and for £200+/night this should be here. Edges of floor in bedroom filthy. Unpleasant smell in room. Overly perfumed and maybe smell of damp it was difficult to place.

• Jens (9/5): - Es war wirklich alles Top. Besonders in Erinnerung geblieben ist die Aussicht und die kleinen Nischen um diesen zu genießen. Der Duschkopf war nicht so sauber und alt. Das war aber auch das Einzige was nicht überzeugt hat.

• Dirk (5/5): Durch die distanziere Gastgeberin und das ungewöhnlich lieblose Frühstück stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider n - Die Lage und der Ausblick. Das Bad mit Fussbodenheizung und genügend Wasserdruck. Wir haben immer problemlos einen Parkplatz auf der Straße bekommen. Das viel zu schmale Doppelbett … das sollte in der Zimmerbeschreibung erwähnt werden! Check-in per Telefon! Keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück (es gab nicht mal Joghurt) und man hatte das Gefühl, dass man möglichst schnell essen und keinen Toast nachbestellen sollte … Schottische Gastfreundschaft sucht man hier vergebens.

• Nicole (10/5): Friendly stay at harbour view - Location was great, fantastic view and bonus parking available. Bella accommodating. Bed and breakfast both comfortable and delicious.
• Anthony (9/5): Very enjoyable. - Harbour View has a great view over Tobermory harbour. Pon was attentive at breakfast time and breakfast was good. The room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easily available on the street. It was a shame that the tv only had 5 channels, all Channel 5 and shopping channels. Despite being assured an engineer would fix this the following day, there was no change. OK, so tv isn’t the most important thing about a holiday, but it does help.

• Renkow (10/5): Our visit to Tobelmory will stand out because of our stay - Everything, but especially the lovely woman who greeted us when we arrived and served us each morning. She was very kind and considerate. Nothing. Everything was excellent and well thought out.

• Helen (9/5): Enjoyable and peaceful stay - Hotel was in a great location, and was worth the hike up the hill for the fantastic views from our bedroom windows over the harbour. The room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. Whilst the breakfast was great, it would have been even better if we were able to chose what we wanted to eat each morning, rather than the day before.

• Diane (10/5): Lovely place to stay. - It was a lovely 2-night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the harbour. Service was great and breakfast was made to order. Would come back again. Everything was great.
• vanessa (2/5): Rude and unthoughtful - Tobermory was pretty though this hotel not all rooms are harbour view we had a view of the conservatory roof. Rude host seemed uninterested and was actually quite rude on arrival saying she couldnt explain things as she was in the middle of ironing. 48 hr power cut due to storm Amy but host never asked if we were ok or provided any temporary light or heat. Unable to have shower the whole stay and host did not offer use of a bath. No heating due to power cut but host did not offer or provide blankets. No breakfast provided because of power cut but host made no effort to provide cold continental or get us hot water so no hot drinks or food in 48 hours. She said we could have cereal and a banana but that was it. Very high price for a beautiful but small cottage but customer service seriously lacking. Other hotels were using calor gas camping stoves and barbecues to ensure customers ok but nothing whatsoever offered. 2 miserable days in the dark being cold. Never again. I understand it was an act of God but hosts response to it totally unacceptable.

• GEOFFREY (5/5): Pricey for the service and facilities offered - Location - close to Tobermory. Lovely view of the harbour from our little window. Room very ‘cosy’ I.e. small. Owners seemed very frugal. TV did not work v well - we were told to watch it on our phones or go to the local pub. For £200 per night we expected more.

Go down to the main house to ask her to put it on. Thought I was having a Seaview but we were in a different building

• Michael (10/5): Sehr schöne Lage. Etwas teurer. - Unser Aufenthalt im Tobermory Harbour View war rundum gelungen. Der Blick über den Hafen ist wunderschön, besonders bei den tollen Sonnenaufgängen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns mit einem leckeren schottischen Frühstück verwöhnt. Durch die Nähe zur Stadt ist alles bequem zu erreichen. Tobermory selbst ist eine sehr schöne Hafenstadt – unbedingt eine Reise wert!

• Eve (9/5): Comfortable, private, clean accommodation. Very good breakfast. - I stayed in 'Rose Cottage', an annexe at the bottom of the garden. It was very comfortable, very clean, very private. The breakfast was fabulous. I would recomend this establishment and will use it again if I ever return to Mull. If I atriculate anything, it would be very small things that it would be far too petty to mention.

• Tim (9/5): We loved the purple cottage on top of the hill overlooking Tobermory, and started each day with a wonderful breakfast. - Beautiful cottage with a great view and delicious breakfast. Small but functional room. Not much room to put things down, and tiny shower.

• Mona (9/5): - We stayed at Rose Cottage, accessed via the garden behind Harbour View. It was cosy and decorated well. A very comfortable, medium firmness mattress on the bed. Tea & coffee making facilities, tv in the corner. A hairdryer and good internet. Shower had very good water pressure. Lots of spare power points for charging and lots of hooks to hang things up. Loved Rose Cottage, and had a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. It was a pity we were only on Mull for 1 night.

• Fiona (7/5): Overlooking harbour with great breakfast - View over Tobermory from the building. Easy parking right outside in street. Breakfast every morning in delightful room on ground floor overlooking the harbour. We were given a garden view room out the back. While it had a lovely garden it was overgrown and needed trimming and sweeping as we could not walk safely along the path into the room. Room was hot and no fan provided. No room service done so no fresh towels provided. TV did not work.

• TATIANA (7/5): Un graziosa veduta sulla bella Tobermory - Struttura con un’ottima posizione a Tobermory ed una bellissima vista. Camera graziosa. Buona colazione Il letto era estremamente piccolo e corto, pertanto non adatto per persone alte, infatti ho dovuto dormire con i piedi fuori. Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti e non ci è stata mai pulita la stanza, venivano svuotati solo i cestini e cambiate le tazze. L’host non ci ha fornito alcun consiglio e si limitata solo a chiederci l’orario della colazione

All’arrivo sembravano essersi persi la nostra prenotazione. Il primo giorno la proprietaria ci ha obbligato a fare colazione alle 8:00 perché, essendo l’ultima camera arrivata, gli altri orari erano già occupati. Il secondo giorno, dovendo partire alle 7:15, si è limitata a dire che non ci era possibile fare colazione perché il servizio iniziava alle 8:00 senza proporci nessuna alternativa per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze.

The plants in front of the room are very overgrown and I got drenched with water (from the rain water on the plants) every time I went in or out. These plants definitely need cutting back.

Messaged and called to confirm our booking as hadn’t heard anything which is unusual. Did not get a response. Very relieved to find all was ok when we arrived for the one night!

No useful information on the area available - sights, restaurants etc. Fair breakfast let down by things like very limited fruit and bakery choices. Croissants were all in plastic bags for example.
