- Andrew (10/5): - A fully modernised old stone property in a tranquil location in the heart of Heptonstall village. A large luxury bath and shower. A comfy and cosy front room. A perfect base for exploring the village, surrounding countryside and Hebden Bridge.
- sara (10/5): Fabulous - Fantastic property, well equipped and clean. Bonus of the extra lounge on the second floor! Fabulous host; would highly recommend Nothing to dislike about this property.

- Paul (10/5): Great location, comfy, relaxing - We really enjoyed our three night stay at Coiners Rest. Heptonstall is just the best, steeped in history we will definitely be back to explore the area more and book Coiners rest again!
We found the cottage to be very cosy and comfy. Just felt right at home here, the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Not a dislike just an observation, the only way you can watch tv is through iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix etc
There is no aerial connected to the tv.
- Catherine (10/5): A perfect cosy cottage, clean with everything we needed for a weekend away - A beautiful location one mile from Hebden Bridge
Just what we needed for a weekend away
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect Cottage - Everything! The cottage was beautifully located in the centre of the village. Everything we needed was provided (including iron & board); the rooms were clean and well-presented. Our daughter particularly enjoyed staying in the attic bedroom. We have recommended the Coiners Rest to family, who often visit the area, and we plan on staying again! Short walk to the parking area (not particularly fun in icy weather!), but it hasn't put us off and it's all part of staying in a small village.
- Amanda (8/5): Quaint Cosy Cottage - A nice cosy cottage in a quaint village with two great pubs! No contained outdoor space for our dog, I thought there was so I must have got that wrongš
- Deborah (10/5): It was perfect in everyway, the cottage, the locals, the location. - It was super cosy and warm, and well maintained, the host left a bottle of rose and mincepies for when we arrived on Christmas Eve. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the village. Bus stop right outside. I had the best nights sleep and loved the little attic room with a tv which came off the main bedroom.
- Paul (9/5): Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful āstep back in timeā village - Great location, lovely village, cottage was well presented and had everything you need. We found the mattress in the larger bedroom uncomfortable as it was very soft. Appreciate this is personal taste though.
- Gillian (8/5): Lovely part of the world. - Nice clean kitchen and bathroom. There was no teapot to make a pot of tea.
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable cosy cottage in a great location. - Great location for exploring the local area. Although no parking there is plenty of spaces 5 mins from the property.
Lovely and warm when we visited in a particularly cold snap. Beds a little soft for our liking, but this is a personal preference for firmer mattresses.
- Kathryn (9/5): -
- Sophie (8/5): Great location and lovely accommodation - Great location opposite two pubs and bus stop to get into Hebden Bridge
- james (9/5): - The house was very cosy and generally clean, and in a great location.
The village has 2 nice pubs, an excellent cafe and a community shop and post office. Well located for walking into Hebdon Bridge and to Hardcastle Craggs
It was great to have dogs allowed The shower head was rusting and mouldy, the shower was still working and ok but not very appealing.
A personal preference would have been an outside tap to help wash our dog down.
- Robson (10/5): Great location and house - Decorated and furnished to a high standard Nothing all was great
- sharon (8/5): Perfect in every way, thankyou - Coiners rest was perfect, very clean & comfortable, Ady comunicated well.
Good location & great bus service into hepden bridge.
The white lion just down from coiners rest did a great Sunday lunch Everything all good
- Jon (10/5): Na - Location and quality Nothing
- Becky (7/5): Great for a weekend š - Lovely comfy bedrooms! The heating and lighting, both a bit high tech and no instructions for any thing anywhere!
- Elizabeth (10/5): A Delightful House - A very well presented and equipped house.
Clean, warm.
An enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the country Nothing
- Kelly (8/5): Quirky little dwelling in friendly village. - Lovely little property, all the mod cons.
Situated in residential area with two pubs close by. Nothing
- Joely (10/5): It was a nice homely clean house with easy access and free later check out was given - Felt homely and clean
- Fiona (9/5): - Beautifully appointed comfortable home
- Jenna (10/5): -
- Helen (8/5): -
- Wayne (10/5): Stylish and comfortable cottage in a beautiful location - Gorgeous cottage, great facilities
- David (10/5): Excellent and Adrian brilliant host - Everything we could have wished for Nothing
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Great location, very comfortable and completely spotless
- Kevin (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back. - The location was absolutely fine, we both enjoyed the walk into Hebden Bridge. The local pub was two minutes away, what more could you want. There was nothing to dislike, the only thing that could have been better would have been a little garden area to sit out in.
- Ciaran (8/5): An excellent stay in an excellent cottage in a very interesting and welcoming village. - Staying on Silver Street was special as my Great Grandmother was born on the terrace in 1870. The cottage itself was superb, providing everything we needed to a very high standard. A very enjoyable stay.
- Thomas (10/5): Lovely historic terraced house in the heart of Heptonstall - Lovely historic terraced house in the heart of Heptonstall
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful location - Really well presented - charming cottage. Well equipped.
- Paul (10/5): Great place in the heart of Heptonstall - Really cosy place, and Ady the host was particularly helpful in the lead up to our trip. Have recommended this place to family and friends and theyāre all keen to go as well.
- Sophie (10/5): Stunning Georgian Weavers Cottage in the Centre of Heptonstall - We came for the Pace Egg plays which happen in Weavers Square so the location was perfect. Very close to the pubs, churches, post office (for supplies) and museum. Very clean, warm and comfortable cottage with all mod cons (especially loved the Bluetooth bathroom mirror). Our two dogs adored it too. Safe road parking is very close nearby, perfect for our van. I loved the folder explaining the history and renovation of the cottage. The wifi connection was very good and the TV had all of the channels you're used to at home.
- Charlie (10/5): Will definitely stay again! - Great location in a lovely little village - nice walk into Hebden! Beautiful cottage, clean, with everything you need :) N/A
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Lovely cottage in historic village - A fantastic weekend in a beautifully restored cottage just off the cobbled street. Comfortable, cozy, clean, great location. Very friendly neighbours. Fully met our expectations. Really enjoyed our stay. Nothing
- Laura (8/5): Lovely cottage, well thought out and nice little touches, thank you - Lovely clean cottage Lack of parking, we only stayed for one night so had a small amount of luggage to carry but if we were staying longer, it wouldnāt be ideal.
- Catherine (10/5): The best village and cottage to be snowed in for a brilliant weekend. - Fantastic property in a delightful village - extremely well appointed throughout. The host was exceptional providing timely communication and extra valuable information to make our stay memorable. A very warm comfortable cottage on a snowy winter weekend was perfect. Do not hesitate to visit this wonderful place and fabulous property. Everything was wonderful.
- Melissa (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - highly recommended - We loved everything about our stay over Christmas. The house is really well equipped and the extra festive touches were brilliant. Ady was so, so helpful and friendly. The village is like going back in time and we enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and hebden bridge. Highly recommend- great stay! Nothing
- Jeannette (9/5): Clean, cozy cottage. - The cottage had everything we needed, was clean, warm and comfortable in a peacful location in the historic part of Heptonstall. There were a couple of pubs and a tea room near by and Hebden Bridge was nearby. Nothing - it was all good.
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): Overall we had a lovely comfortable stay conveniently situated for our trip to Hendon Bridge. - Very comfortable property in an amazing location.
Beautifully renovated. Would have liked instructions on our to work the heating thermostat, was trial and error
We thought there would be basic toiletries so were caught out when there weren't any.
- Phil (9/5): Lovely place in a very atmospheric location. - The close location of the pub, shop and cafe make Heptonstall a little gem. Parking is a challenge- we had to park quite a bit up the hill.
- Jana (10/5): Highly recommended beautiful place to stay and catch some breath. Thank you for everything! - Amazing place to stay, clean and super cozy house to enjoy time with your dearest! No objections:).
- Graeme (8/5): We will be visiting Heptonstall again - Location and just what we wanted for our stay Nothing all was good
- Jim (10/5): Lovely location and beautiful house - Beautiful location, wonderfully presented and with little extras and great touches throughout
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Helen (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay! - Lovely, cosy, quaint cottage. Nice, modern kitchen and bathroom. Tasteful decor. Owner was very friendly and went to significant effort to ensure our needs were met. There was a nice welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during booking. Heptonstall village was lovely to walk around. Lack of dishwasher. Towels and bedding could be better. Kitchen table only seated 4 people (there were 5 of us). All the doors scraped on the carpet.
- Bob (9/5): Lovely cottage in a brilliant location - A lovely clean comfortable cottage. The location is excellent, the village has lots of history and places to explore. Lots of walks from the doorstep The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer! You can't park right next to the cottage but you can unload and park nearby.
- Michelle (9/5): Lovely cottage in the village - The cottage is easy to access just off the cobbled street and was very welcoming and comfortable. The facilities were excellent and all very clean. We are frequent visitors to Heptonstall and used this as a base to visit family and we couldn't stay with them. Would happily stay again. It wasn't particularly cold when we visited in June but it was cool for the time of year so maybe a few throws on the sofa would be a good idea
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kbh (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic location in a stunning quaint village. Close to Hebdon Bridge, although very steep hill to walk down / come back up absolutely nothing
- Catherine (9/5): Excellent - Very clean and comfortable in a beautiful location No garden
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Very clean, tidy and central little home from home. Exceptionally helpful host who was very responsive when we had a minor issue. The only thing to be mindful of is that Heptonstall is a small village and the cobbled road outside the property is narrow. If you have a larger vehicle or need to unload luggage/kids etc, be wary of this and those who may try to squeeze past impatiently.
- Kate (9/5): Lovely cottage for a relaxing stay - Lovely cottage in a great location. Spacious & well designed space. Friendly, responsive & accommodating host. We wish we could have stayed longer. Tricky parking situation, but worth it for the location.
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iveta (10/5): Excellent property in a fab location - Lovely property, spacious and very comfortable. Located in historical village and surrounded by beautiful scenery and fabulous walks. Property has pretty much everything one might need for a short stay. Would definitely stay again. Just a suggestion perhaps as we felt that a basic non-stick pan would have been more useful rather than the one provided.
- Carol (10/5): coiners rest - everything, dog friendly clean perfect lay out for us all to have own rooms , great attic room for younger lad , warm, hot water lovely bath perfect nothing
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (10/5): Superb - Excellent accommodation that has clearly benefited from a ālabour of love renovationā situated in a lovely Yorkshire village that is well served by pubs, post office/shop, superb cafe. Also benefits from a regular bus service to Hebden Bridge connecting easily to the big bad world (if you feel inclined). Personally stick to the many glorious walks and cycle routes just outside the door.
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful short stay in the gorgeous villagr of Heptonstall. - Everything. Property was perfect
- Julie (10/5): Perfect - Perfect cottage and lovely location It was all good
- Mark (10/5): Perfect stay in a gem of a cottage. -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (10/5): Coiners Rest is brilliant - Coiners Rest is a beautifully restored cottage with everything that you need for a perfect stay in Heptonstall. Nothing - itās all great š
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Our 2nd trip back to where we made our base for our wedding Sept 2023.
Ady, our host, has provided a beautiful, comfortable, spacious and classy place to stay.
It's now our go to place for our regular trips to the area.
Best Booking.com accomodation we have ever had.
- Scally (9/5): Superb -
- Mora (8/5): A lovely little terraced cottage - Almost everything No room for boots or wet coats . No outside space.
- Esther (8/5): Very good - Great little cottage in an amazing location. Like stepping back in time. Everyone was so friendly including Ady the host (who lives locally who dropped us a line to check we were ok), the locals and the pub which is only 1 minute away. The cottage is warm and comfortable and recently done up to a good standard and the area is great for walking and biking.
- Vickie (9/5): Great short break in a very cosy cottage in a fab location - The cottage was cosy and comfortable and in a lovely location.
- Sheila (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice fittings. Like the before and after photos.
Beds very comfortable.
Bathroom facilities good.
Kitchen, everything you would need. Liked the Crockery.
I liked the Heritage village. Obviously, because there are restrictions on parking, a walk uphill to the cottage.
So sometime spent finding best available parking space.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Wow, what a beautiful cottage that we chose for our base on our wedding weekend.
When our host Ady heard we were getting we'd he left us a card, chocs and a bottle of bubbly too!
The neighbours are all sound too
We've already book another weekend before the end of the year
Wonderful
- Jonathan (10/5): Absolutely brilliant- book it! - Beautifully decorated and equipped
A fantastic location in a beautiful village
Amazing communication from Ady, the owner There is nothing negative about this wonderful place
- Rachel (10/5): This was a beautiful grade II weavers cottage. A real gem - This is a beautiful well equipped cottage. The decor is modern and beautiful but with character and nods to the weavers cottage it once was. A real find and hidden gem. It is in a perfect location tucked away from the high street but a short stroll to all village amenities. The cottage has everything you would need and the host was responsive and full of information to help you make the most of your stay. I would recommend this lovely hidden little gem. We will be back as soon as we have more time to do so.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, comfortable beds, lovely shower. Great cafe down the road with tasty vegan cakes and great ice cream š Definitely worth a visit
Place was a perfect fit for a mother and daughter weekend away. Will stay here again if I am in the area n/a
- Ryan (9/5): Perfect weekend getaway! - Rustic and modern look in a great location.
- Peter (10/5): Fantastic home from home - Great location and places to walk & visit. Nothing
- Treadwell (10/5): Fantastic cottage worth a stay. - Fantastic property and furnished well, nothing bad to say, perfect location in a quiet village and not far to walk down to Hebden. Ady was very helpful with our last minute requests and saw no trouble in helping out, would definitely stay again if I'm to return to the area. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - The property is fabulous. It's spacious, comfortable and retains original features with a modern look too. Well equipped kitchen, great lounges (ground floor and upper floor), super bedrooms and bath/shower room. The owner is wonderful and the neighbours are grand too.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Second time we've stayed here and it's a lovely property in a great area.
- Ian (9/5): Lots to explore - What a helpful host! Beautifully renovated weavers cottage in fascinating village. Ate in the pub less than 5 minutes away. Parking away from the cottage up the hill was easy. Nil
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): A lovely weekend away for a birthday treat - The house is very nicely done out and in a lovely village. Lots to see and do in the area. Ady was very communicative and helpful!
- Pearce (10/5): A beautiful house in a great location. Very welcoming. - A beautiful house.
- Laura-jane (9/5): Superb -
- Kirk (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, extremely clean, well equipped and functional cottage. We will definitely stay again!
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic property. It felt like a home from home. Very clean with great facilities, lovely big bath with separate shower unit. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Really good value for money, you get a lot of space.
The hosts were lovely, really good communication and very accommodating.
It is a fantastic base for walking or spending some time exploring nearby Hebden Bridge and Howarth. Heptonstall is really interesting to explore and is steeped in history with the grave of Sylvia Plath in the churchyard. With lots of cobbled streets and pretty stone cottages you can see why it's used in film and TV. There are two pubs and a tea room within very close walking distance of the cottage. One pub serving fabulous Thai food and the other pub serving excellent pub grub. The tearoom serves tasty lunches or full breakfasts. There is also a small shop/post office.
There is a regular bus service into Hebden Bridge.
This cottage really is an excellent base for couples, families, or small groups of friends.
I'll definitely be coming back.
- Kerri (10/5): Couldnāt be better - The location is something else, really beautiful. Thai restaurant and a lovely caf for breakfast. Beautiful house with tea and coffee.
