- Mr (10/5): Just right for me - Spacious, Victorian, ground -floor period room with 2 comfortable single beds, a sofa, coffee table, large dining table with 6 chairs, TV, desk, big bow window, cabinet. Cute kitchenette with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge. Very nice, small en-suite, with lovely hot shower. Hot water always instantly available.
- Caroline (9/5): It was just what we needed and the price was reasonable. - Breakfast was not offered. This suited us because our son lived fairly close and we simply went there. The beds were comfortable and clean. I put a chair between them for my personal things. A light over the bed for reading would have been good, but never mind. Hangers and cupboard were useful for other clothes. A long mirror somewhere would also have been useful. The handles to help around the steps were useful, especially at night. We also loved the decoration on the top part of the walls! We never met the hosts, so cannot comment. A little road map would have helped. There are so many one way streets there. OK when you know it, but confusing in the dark on the first visit.
Front door could do with a coat of paint, but I can understand that it probably makes the property less attractive to casual thieves.
- Mark (2/5): Very basic
Very basic - The bed was comfortable Security of the building, no lock on bedroom door, boiler in the bedroom which was going on and off all night. I had to book for a minimum of 2 nights although I only needed 1. Damp in the corner of the bedroom, the state of the garden derelict caravan and car on driveway and rubbish piled up.
