• Francine Martin (9/5): Good value for money - The apartment is good, it is very basic, nothing fancy, but it has everything you need for a week's stay. It's good value for money. The hostess, Valentina, was very nice, attentive, welcomed us warmly, and gave us several tips on restaurants and tours. I would definitely recommend it. I didn't like that the host asked for a €350 security deposit in case of any damage. She said it was described in the Booking.com reservation, but I didn't find any mention of it. In any case, the amount was returned the day after departure. Booking.com even issued a warning saying: "No additional payment is required. Please inform us of any payment requests received and avoid clicking on payment links." She also demanded that all trash be removed from the apartment as soon as we left, even though we paid for a cleaning service fee.

• Niamh (8/5): Costa del Silencio - Casa Silvana - Location very quiet and ideally situated right by a supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars. Lovely patio area with a view of the pool. Well maintained apartment block , good sized pool and an incredibly kind and welcoming host! We didn't love the mattress on the bed or the couch in the apartment. They were usable for a few days but wouldn't be able for longer than that as the mattress and couch cushion is very thin and soft so quite tough when you can feel baseboard under you. Also the sun loungers in the pool area need some TLC , many are cracked/ damaged making them uncomfortable.
