Guest Reviews
- Alison (10/5): Lovely for a quiet getaway - It was a perfect getaway location for a solo traveler The shower temperature kept changing whilst I was in the shower
- AncientFootsteps (7/5): - Friendly greeting on arrival.
Strong wifi.
Good shower. Traffic noise from 06:30. The cabin has poor sound insulation.
Very few TV channels working - no BBC channels (although I had a Chromecast for streaming which worked fine thanks to the excellent wifi signal - and I forgot to take it when I left so you may find it still connected to the back of the TV!).
- . Michelle (7/5): -
- Kathleen (10/5): Would certainly recommend for solo traveller .Did feel had to keep curtains closed for privacy so lack of natural light - Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, cosy & homely Little dated, floor dipping beside toilet.
- M I (7/5): - Good as a base for my visit.Easy parking.Had everything I needed for a short stay.
- Carol (9/5): Great base for exploring - Was a great wee base for travelling round Aberdeenshire visiting castles. Had a good night's sleep too. Might be suited to a single person rather than a couple
- Clive (4/5): Disappointing -
- Andrew (9/5): Very good. - Breakfast was fine. It was a self catering appartment. It was all very good just what we were needing during work on our own home.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lothian (10/5): Lovely place - The host is a fantastic fellow. It is cold in Scotland. Remember your thermals. Even in June.
- Richard (6/5): The cabin was pleasant for a short stay and good value for the money. Thank you. - The cabin is very cosy and good value for money. Comfy bed and sofa. Cosy blanket and furry rug. Kitchen with all facilities. Cleanliness was good. Host very kindly greeted me and asked if I needed anything. Parking available free outside. Overall fine for a short stay. Thank you. Shower didn't work properly. It was cold and didn't seem to work properly. Once I managed to find warm the pressure was so low to properly shower with. The plug was blocked with hair and wouldn't drain away. The bathroom floor around the toilet was sunken down a bit.
