- Colin (9/5): Loved our stay there, it’s a lovely site, even in winter 😁 - Great cabin with all the appliances necessary for a self catered stay but also with the Boathouse there with great staff and great food if you want a night off cooking 😁
Great views over Loch Tay.
Easy drives up to Pitlochry and over to Glen Coe, to mention a couple of places close by Little niggly things like the heating not being on for our arrival team that was provided. It was as very cold and raining when we arrived.
Shower head needs fixed properly.

- Natalie (9/5): Lovely, tranquil, great view - We loved our stay. The cottage is perfect. Great view, located next to a big field which our son enjoyed and only a few steps to the loch. The kitchen was well equipped with a separate fridge and freezer, good working oven and there was sugar, coffee and tea. House was clean and beds comfy. Would definitely stay again.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect log cabin in a perfect location. - Having been to Loch Tay several times we knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. This wasn't the first time we have booked one of this hosts log cabins and they have always been perfect. The location of this one is fantastic as it is down near the bottom of the site near the loch and Boathouse restaurant. I'll definitely be looking at booking again. Nothing in particular. IYE, the activity company could look at restarting half day hires for the boats as not everyone wants a full day on the loch.
- Danielle (10/5): Home from home - The lodge was beautiful. The owners had thought of everything for a family including, kids cutlery and step stool for the bathroom.
The lodge was warm and cosy, the beds were super comfy, and the self-catering facilities really made it a home from home. What a view to wake up to!
The on-site restaurant served tasty food however, its important to note that they only open four days a week.
- Joanna (8/5): Lovely well appointed lodge in beautiful surroundings - The location and views were great
- Clairehammond38 (9/5): Superb -
- Phil (9/5): A lovely lodge in a great location. Would happily return or recommend to friends and family. - Great lodge in an excellent location. No issues as regards facilities. Everything was working and the communication from the host was excellent. Overall the property was clean although there were a few areas of dust and some rooms had cobwebs. This was not a significant issue and did not detract from our enjoyment of the lodge.
- Anonymous (9/5): Most enjoyable weekend in a lovely area I know well. - Well equipped, comfortable beds, very clean on arrival and situation being near harbour and having beautiful views. Everything satisfactory
- Nancy (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Clean and fresh decor with great location. Nothing really
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location of the cabin on site. Sitting on the veranda watching the loch and lovely wildlife was just perfect. We took another couple who hadn't been to Scotland before, and they fell in love with the location and the beautiful scenery. Didn't much like the Boathouse as was told couldn't order delivery until 8.30. However, when we went online, it was open for delivery from 12 noon. Other than that, we had an amazing break away. The beds were a little small as both the hubby and I are 6ft and over.
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oonagh (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent, comfy lodge in an amazing location. Nothing
- Amber (10/5): I booked for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed! we will definitely be booking again. - the property is beautiful and perfect view of the loch. It was clean and very comfortable with everything you needed! ie cooking, cleaning, soft towels. -
