• Eli (10/5): Spacious, quiet, and perfectly located apartment - The apartment is amazing! It's very spacious and actually much better than it looks in the photos. It has pretty much everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable, right in the best area of Athens. Despite being in such a central location, it’s very quiet both during the day and at night, which made a big difference. Communication with the host was easy and smooth throughout, and she’s a genuinely nice person. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

• Marie (10/5): - The apartment itself was very large, clean and comfortable. We felt safe in the building, and in the area. Very close to the Acropolis, the Plaka and many other tourism spots. The apartment is surrounded by cafes and there is a grocery store right across the street. Would return, and recommend in a heartbeat!

The property was a 5 minute walk to the Acropolis and museum. They also gave us man suggestions on things to do in the area. I recommend this property highly !

On a l’impression d’entrer dans l’appartement d’une personne âgée qui vient à peine de le quitter: l’ameublement fait très bas de gamme, il y a trop de bibelots et de napperons en dentelle partout , très peu d’espace de rangement car tous les petits tiroirs sont encombrés par le bric à brac du propriétaire. Lampe de chevet cassée et équipée d’une ampoule de frigo qui n’éclaire quasiment rien…

• Irit (10/5): - הדירה הייתה נעימה, חדרים גדולים עם מזגנים. ילד שלישי ישן על המיטה בסלון, היה נח מאד.  ההגעה ההיתה פשוטה. המנעול של המפתח נמצא על המעקה משמאל לדלת הכניסה (לנו זה לא היה ברור). הדוד מאחורי התמונה. אחרי 10 דק יש מים חמים.  בעל הבית היה זמין לנו וענה לנו במהירות. דאג שנגיע ונמצא את הדירה. הדירה ממוקמת במרחק של 5 דק מהאקרופוליס,  מסעדות ובתי קפה.  לא השתמשנו בכלל בתחבורה ציבורית, הכל היה קרוב אלינו.

The location of the apartment was excellent, as it was so close to the Acropolis museum, Acropolis, Plaka .. many areas of interest in Athens . Easy walking distance through streets with bakeries, bars, cafes; restaurants, shops etc. Perfect area to stay. Lots of information was provided in the apartment, and extra information given to us by the host to make our stay very enjoyable . It was wonderful to sit on the lovely terrace and see the Acropolis at the end of our street, even more special when lit up at night 🥰

• Brian (10/5): A pleasant, comfortable option in a prime location - The Acropolis is a short walk away, roughly 10 minutes to one of the gates; it is partially visible from the apartment. Several good food options, including El Greco (with an exceptionally friendly staff) and a mini-market are steps from the entrance. The apartment itself is spacious and charming, with parquet floors. Not a criticism, because this turns out to be common in Greece, but only something for first-time visitors to know: the hot water switch is behind a panel. It needs to be turned on about 15 minutes in advance, and then off while in use.

• Igor (10/5): Ideal apartment for a family holiday. - The apartment turned out to be magnificent. First of all, the check-in was easy. When we entered the apartment, we realized that we were lucky with our choice. The apartment was large, tastefully furnished and clean. There are paintings hanging on the walls in each room. There are five rooms in total. Two bedrooms, a dining room, a living room and an entrance room. In addition, there are two large balconies overlooking part of the Acropolis. There is also a nice large kitchen with everything you need to prepare any meal. The shower room is combined with the toilet. The water is heated through a boiler within 10 minutes. Everything looks new and is in good condition. Since we were there at the end of December, we turned on the heating using air conditioners. Despite its central location, the apartment was in a quiet area. At night there were no noises that disturbed my sleep. There is a small elevator in the house. It is very convenient to avoid carrying heavy suitcases. Contact with the owners was flawless. I received a quick response to any messages. Special thanks for the advices on which attractions to visit first. The apartment is very conveniently located. There is a good grocery store 20 meters away. There are also restaurants nearby. But most importantly, it is only a 5-minute walk to the entrance to the Acropolis. The Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis metro are also located there. Thus, the main attractions are within walking distance. If you need to get somewhere, it’s convenient to do it by metro. We liked the apartment very much. It feels like home. Therefore, I can confidently recommend it for a family vacation.

Only thing is parking could be a problem as Free street parking is not available. So better don't have a car as the location is perfect to explore all the tourist area either by walking or subway. • Jacqueline (8/5): So much better than we anticipated, a great home to relax in when done sight seeing and being I around Athens - We had a wonderful stay here at this Airbnb. There was plenty of space for myself, mother and daughter. It was nice to have the option to be able to use the kitchen and living room/dining room area. Our host was very kind and even put up some signs and balloons and provided a bottle of N/A champagne, surprising us for my daughter’s birthday. The air conditioning was an absolute must and worked great. I will warn for anyone disabled, there is a little flight of stairs before the elevator. The hot water is also a little different, but well explained. Great balconies and acropolis is right up the street as well as the museum. coffee shop right next door and breakfast/lunch cafe across the street. A late night grocery/necessities store across the street. Plaka area 10 min walk. Lots of dining options very close and nice helpful people. Overall a great experience and highly recommend. The steps before the elevator can be a little difficult if you have heavy luggage or a disability.

• Daniel (10/5): Probably the best apartment for the money in Athens - Acropolis View Apartments is one of the best living experiences we have ever had while on holiday. It is very spacious and clean with a wonderful balcony view of part of the Acropolis. The building has a small lift but it starts from the first floor. From the ground floor there are a few steps to the first floor. Our Landlady supplied all necessary items for our stay. WiFi was superb. Its location is super convenient with a short walk to the entrance of the Acropolis. The Acropolis Museum is just two blocks away. There are plenty of eateries nearby. A big plus was the small OK Market is right across the street and My Market a block away. The Acropolis Metro station is not far away. Taxi and shuttle drop off and pick-up are very easy; just say "Coffee Dive" (a shop on the ground floor) and everyone knows where that is. We were amazed at how quiet the apartment was at this five-point intersection with a motorcycle shop nearby and a constant flow of tourist buses going past. The quiet is mainly due to the electrically-operated outside blinds. When they are closed, you can't hear anything. Communication with the landlady was excellent. In fact, when we embarrassingly thought the shower was broken she paid us a visit and made things right. We were happy to learn that the apartment was originally her grandfather's. It is early-20th century styled. We highly recommend Acropolis View Apartments to make your stay in Athens the best it can be. One of the shower doors is in bad repair, the handle came off in my hand. The washer needs to be cleaned thoroughly; mold tends to build up in the gasket bellows.
