Atkinson (9/5): Coniston is the place to be. - Very pleasant cottage, well equipped, good position and a great view of the Old Man of Coniston at the back. Quiet but close to facilities. Coniston information was helpful and we liked the village Slightly impersonal and being chased for feedback before we left. We do feel the late check-in at 5.00pm and early checkout at 9.30 am is out of kilter with other premises and unfair on the customer.
