Guest Reviews
- John (5/5): Needs upgrading - The house is spacious and set in a lovely parkland estate which has some beautiful walks. There is a good pub at the end of the drive where we had a nice supper. The house is surrounded by abandoned old vehicles, overgrown areas and some derelict buildings. The beds were a disgrace, old, narrow and really uncomfortable, basically worn out. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep as a result. The booking process was cumbersome and irritating. One of our party tore her leggings on a nail sticking out of the dining table bench, although after we complained this was - eventually - compensated.
- David (10/5): Loved the house.. We will be back. - Beautiful house in an amazing setting Having to leave it so soon!
- Charis (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning! Loads of room, beautifully decorated without being unapproachable or stiff. The kitchen is the dream, with a giant table that can seat everyone. Comfy sofas, log burners, amazing, feather duvet-ed beds and roll top baths. Clearer signage to direct you to the house would have been helpful. Everything else was a pure delight!
- Sanal (8/5): Very good -
