• Theodora (8/5): - Location was ideal, very close to Volos and mountain Pilio. The staff was always very friendly and polite, ready to share local recommendations. The rooms were clean and recently renovated , ours was also quite spacious Noise in the night hours, when there were discussions in the lobby you could hear in your room. Some of the breakfast options could be with local products and not with supermarket cans (eg orange juice, jam)

• Isolde (9/5): Schöner Strandaufenthalt im geschäftigen Ort. - Sehr gute Lage am Ortsrand, daher ruhig (wir hatten Zimmer zum Garten). In wenigen Minuten am Strand mit den Tavernen. Gemütlicher Ort mit etwas Geschäftigkeit und viel Gastronomie. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Sehr gutes Frühstück - man kann aus mehreren Optionen wählen. Wir haben ein Zimmerupgrade bekommen weil es schon Nebensaison war. Schöne neue Einrichtung, sehr gepflegt. Von Vater und Sohn geführt. Der Vater hat früher in der Schweiz gearbeitet und spricht auch gut Deutsch. Die Standarddoppelzimmer sind sehr klein.
• H (10/5): - Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Hotel Agelis in Kala Nera! Das Hotel Agelis ist ein echtes Juwel in Kala Nera – familiär, herzlich und mit einer Gastfreundschaft, die man heute nur noch selten findet. Die Besitzerfamilie kümmert sich mit unglaublich viel Liebe um ihre Gäste, gibt großartige Tipps zu Aktivitäten in der Umgebung (Strände, Bergdörfer, Wanderungen und Tavernen) und sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch – reichhaltig, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet, mit lokalen Spezialitäten, selbstgemachtem Gebäck und frischem Obst. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die familiäre Atmosphäre und die persönliche Betreuung machen den Aufenthalt zu einem echten Erlebnis. Ich kann das Hotel Agelis uneingeschränkt empfehlen – ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt! ---

• Edan (9/5): - מיקום מעולה ליד החוף, מספר רב של מסעדות טובות במרחק הליכה קצר. יש חדרים גם בקומת הקרקע למי שיש בעיות נגישות.
• Von (10/5): Een heel fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel en een super behulpzame eigenaar!! - Het ontbijt was prima! Je kon kiezen uit 8 verschillende menu's. Fruit, yoghurt, roerei, ei met bacon, toast. Kortom, keuze genoeg. De ontbijtruimte was klein, maar het hotel is ook kleinschalig. Alle gasten konden ruimschoots zitten. Mijn vriendin moest voor minder leuke privézaken naar Kala Nera, en de eigenaar heeft ons enorm geholpen met praktische informatie over waar we moesten zijn, met telefoonnummers van instanties, en tips over hoe we dingen aan konden pakken. Daar zijn we hem enorm dankbaar voor. Bij aankomst waren er nog 2 kamers beschikbaar en mochten we kiezen welke we wilde. De kamer was prima en de bedden lagen goed (als je van hard houdt) Het enige kleine minpuntje vonden we de grootte van de badkamer. Je kon er je toiletspullen nergens kwijt met maar een klein wastafeltje. Maar het was er schoon, konden er prima douchen en naar het toilet. Op het kleine balkon konden we de dag/avond prima afsluiten. Het hotel ligt in een rustige straat maar heel dicht bij het begin van de gezellige boulevard. Daar zitten prima restaurants en bars, met fijne ligbedden aan het strand. Van de omgeving hebben we helaas weinig kunnen zien, omdat we elke dag bezig waren met het regelen van zaken, maar de avonden hebben we prima genoten van Kala Nera

• Karin (9/5): Superb - Excellent place to stay! The staff is incredibly friendly and assisted us in planning our travel around the area. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and they provide coffee with almond milk upon request. The room is small, as well as the bathroom.
• Christy (10/5): Perfect location with genuine hospitality. - We loved George the owner and everyone we came in contact with there (Christos and Flora). We’ve been to this area (Kala Nera) 3 times now and stayed at 3 different places - this was by far the best. It feels so nice to receive a warm greeting every day and evening. It is the cleanest lilacs I’ve ever stayed. The rooms are made daily. The location is just off the Main Street/beach. Just perfect.

Wonderful place a - The hotel is in a beautiful unspoilt village of Kala Nera on the coast of the Pelion. It’s reminiscent of how Greece used to be 30 years ago but with all modern amenities. You can walk to the beach for a swim in 3 minutes. George is a wonderful host who just cannot do enough for you. Nothing

• Leigh (10/5): Exceptional. - We have been visiting Greece for 40+ years and we liked it all. We found Kala Nera and the Agelis exceptional. The Agelis is extremely well decorated and finished. George and his family and staff could not have been more helpful, accomodating and friendly. We were warmly welcomed on arrival, and sent home with a warm goodbye. They were at pain for us to have a stress free stay. Their home, is your home, is their philosophy. Anything you needed was available just by asking George. He arranged our car hire, and taxis. It all worked well. Personally we would have preferred the beds a little softer, but this didn't spoil our holiday, and wouldn't stop us going back.

The hotel is centrally located next to restaurants, a bakery, and the beach. It is quiet and family-friendly. I liked how close everything was and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
