Guest Reviews
- Elena (1/5): - La posizione Tutto il resto
- Carlo (9/5): Excellent -
- Judy (6/5): Owner was responsive and apologetic. - Location Very strong musty, damp smell the first two days. The dehumidifier helped but not wanted I wanted to be doing when I’m on vacation, emptying the container. We were in the basement level. The massive plants right outside our door was unattractive and the floor was dirty.
- Naurglim (7/5): Good - The location was good. The space was well optimized (for a couple, at least). It felt cozy. The host entered the apartment while we weren't there to collect the tax money and finish setting up the complimentary stuff (at this point we had already bought our own).
- John (7/5): Good - The host was very nice and quick to respond. Some information about getting in the building and finding the room wasn't explained. It would be nice to have very clear instructions to improve the chances that check in goes smoothly.
- Bethjo (10/5): Quiet, charming and well equipped apartment, conveniently situated in cool Trastevere - Great host - really helpful on our arrival and a really easy handover. The property is conveniently situated in the Trastevere area of Rome and close to great restaurants and bars. It’s also great for the Botanical gardens, which were just a short walk away. The property itself is well equipped with a small kitchenette, microwave, small electric hob and fridge to make simple meals. There is a market close by selling fresh produce and ingredients. Other amenities include a good size bathroom with a small washing machine and heated towel rail. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate storage space. Transport was conveniently located nearby, including bus and tram stops. All in all, a great experience and value for money. We would stay here again! There is nothing to dislike about the property.
- Natasha (8/5): Great place to stay. Lots of cafes for breakfast & so many restaurants for dinner. - Great location & very quiet at night. Shower was a bit small.
- Marcel (5/5): Consider visiting in summer - The host was very friendly, the location great, the furnishings were also fine. Pretty good value for money overall, either for couples or travelling solo. Despite all the good, I cannot really recommend the place in winter - it was simply uncomfortably cold. Basement-level flat with big metal doors opening directly onto a courtyard, tiled floors throughout, poor insulation. There was an ac/heater mounted above the front door, but it was unable to keep the place warm. It might be a good place in summer, but we struggled with the cold. There's a small electric heater we used to keep the bedroom somewhat warm, but we still slept fully clothed in jeans, jumpers and scarves.
Some minor annoyances - the little shelves by the bed were a bit too small to really serve as a bedside table, and the duvet didn't have a proper cover - it was wrapped in two sheets instead. Not a big problem really, but a bit of a head-scratcher. When you first enter there's a strong basement smell, but I got used to it very quickly.
