- Gwyn Lloyd (8/5): Great location, good facilities. Would stay again. - Great location, very easy to get around Salford and Manchester. The apartment was plenty big enough. Good use of the space. Parking was a big help. Great communication from the owner and very helpful "how to" videos. Not the owners fault, but the block mamagement isn't great. Needs some looking after.
The beds weren't great but good enough. The settee not great. Minor points but would have scored higher if they were better.
The trainline is literally next door so if you have the windows open the first one comes as surprise! Not an issue though. You could hear them with the windows closed but nowhere near as loud.
- Adeleke (10/5): - Lovely apartment, neat. Well arranged. Every little detail provided.
- Ali (10/5): -
- justKev93 (3/5): Fairly Disappointing - The location was really good for being central to where we needed to be. Access to WiFi and Netflix was a really good addition. There were reasonable amounts of pots and pans with utensils. The apartment is definitely spacious. The toiletries were a nice touch. The apartment was dirty, so ended up having to clean before food could be made. The sleeper bed is broken and constantly had a part of it falling out. Sleeping on it was uncomfortable. The beds themselves were not great either as the springs in the mattresses were constantly digging into our bodies.
No other reviews mentioned that there are trains running approximately every 40 min throughout the day. This also made sleeping difficult.
I would also suggest that in the summer there needs to be better cooling options, as being on the top floor with only some blinds still working or there at all, and the windows did not work very well, did very little to cool the apartment down.
Some extra toilet paper would have been good.
- Alessia (8/5): Consigliato - Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, appartamento molto carino con tutto il necessario, staff disponibile, buona posizione
- Vaktyuk (9/5): - The bath, the rooms, kitchen. So all was ok.
- Jon (9/5): Good value for the space. - Spacious clean surroundings, 2 good sized bedrooms. Great views from the living room. Easy access. Large Sainsbury about half a mile away. I was already aware of the proximity of the railway line which was actually less troubling than expected. Not much in the immediate locality apart from Burger King.
- Flo (8/5): Very good - The flat was nice as good as we could see on the pictures. All check in/out was done smoothly. The area is quiet, good reactivity of the landlord for answers.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- José (8/5): Very good -
- Filip (6/5): Pleasant - The locality was good, 20 min walk to Old Trafford. The flat was not cleaned up and the bed in one room was uncomfortable
- Lucky (10/5): Exceptional - My experience was satisfying . The host was very polite and professional..and I look forward to make a reservation for my next visit to Manchester .
- Bobby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (3/5): Poor - Clean and good value for money until you get parking fines. Claimed free on site parking but there wasn’t host had no idea how to get the parking permit and it didn’t work when you tried to get one resulting in fines
Was told to park on the street where multiple cars had their windows smashed.
- Gabriel-sebastian (1/5): Didn’t turn up for check in and had to stay elsewhere. - Nothing - the owner did not turn up for the check in. Called him for hours but didn’t answer. Had to sleep in a different place. He called me hours later saying the property is not clean and can’t accommodate us. Everything
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Grayson (5/5): Passable - It was roomy and homely, in a good location. The view was nice The radiator in the front room didn’t work. There was a big crack in the wall. The windows didn’t work properly. Half the curtains in the front room were missing. The arm of the sofa in the front room was broken and the sofa was springy and uncomfortable. The clothes maiden was left out in the hallway with wet towels and wet bedsheets on. Forks were missing and we requested new ones bc there was 4 of us and only 3 forks and they said they’d bring one next day and never did. The windows leaked and the windowsills had mould on them. The tap kept dripping when it was off. And the oven was continuously child looked.
- Biilal (10/5): Lovely place - Everything was lovely the location its perfect
- Olivia (6/5): Good location for The Lowry but wouldn’t stay here again. - - Good communication and ease of access (parking etc) - On entry smelt of cigarette smoke
- Shoe rack filled with someone’s shoes
- Wet laundry on drying rack in corridor
- Walls dirty
- Windows mouldy
- Creased bed sheets
- Aremu (10/5): Exceptional - It was good value for money. The host was helpful and answered all my questions. The location is central.
- Karen (9/5): Quiet, cosy apartment in Salford. - We enjoyed a really nice stay in this cosy apartment, which came with a designated parking space, well equipped kitchen, and a massive telly.
The host communicated nicely via WhatsApp, and sent key codes etc at the check-in time.
The apartment overlooks a railway line. You could hear the trains whilst sitting in the living room, but they did not disturb our sleep. Other than that, the apartment was absolutely quite, with no noise at all fom other residents or from the street.
There are multiple free family entertainments (Salford Quays, The Lowry, IWM North, Ordsall Hall etc ) and supermarkets all within 25 mins walk. The apartment was a great base for an economical break for us. Although the apartment was perfectly neat and tidy, the compound in which it sits and the street outside both leave a bit to be desired. It didn't look as if the rubbish had been collected in a while. This didn't really have an impact on our holiday though.
Just for information, the listing on booking.com says that the apartment is accessible, but I think it would be difficult for a wheelchair-user to get through the front door without help, as it is quite heavy and needs to be pulled towards you. However, there is no step, and there is a lift to the apartment, which is on the third floor.
The bathroom was nice and clean, and great for us, but the shower was over the bath so anyone who has difficulty stepping into or out of a bath might need to consider this.
- Cara (7/5): Good -
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vera (8/5): Valuable place, good communication with the host. - Spacious place, well equipped, warm rooms. The mess around the house, windows, noisy trains passing by. Little bit further from public transport.
- Yudhajit (10/5): Great 2 BHK apartment for stay near Manchester City Centre and Salford Quays - Sanjeev is an amazing host. He arranged for us to check in 4.5 hours earlier than the scheduled time on request as we were coming on the back of a long haul flight. This kind gesture really helped and elevated our vacation experience. Sanjeev was always a phone call or msg away and responded promptly. The location of the property is amazing. It is 6-7 mins by cab to the city centre of Manchester. All the facilities are as shown in the photos. I strongly recommend this property for stay in Manchester. Nothing worth mentioning.
- Ann (9/5): Superb - lovely 2 bedroom Apartment, Host excellent, fast response to questions, very helpful, in good location not to far from the lowry where we were going, and a sainsburys nearby, Apartment near to train track, trains a little noisy at time, Beds very comfortable slept very well,
Could perhaps do with a lick of paint in places, would definitely stay there again. Very Happy with our stay Nothing
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional - It was perfect for our stay enough room for us all, and was all clean
- Iothousandlucky (10/5): very nice - The apartment was very clean, and the host was quick to respond to any inquiries, which made the stay smooth and pleasant. While the location wasn't the most convenient, the apartment offered great value for the price. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a good balance between quality and affordability. no
- Helena (8/5): Very good - facilities
- Ugonna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deklyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (8/5): Enjoyable stay in Salford - Good value for money -
- Lois (10/5): definately worth the money. the host was very accomodating and lovely. - was very cosy, it had everything to facilitate nothing
- Sarah (7/5): Given price it was good for an overnight stay - size noises from railway line
- Rajwant (1/5): Not cleaned and ready for us and terrible customer service. - Nothing Arrival time in the email was from 09.00 in the morning. We arrived at 3.45pm and the property had not been cleaned. We called the owner who dismissed our concerns as something normal and said a cleaner should be with us shortly. Customer Service was terrible, he told us to go off and have a coffee somewhere and come back later. I asked what time the cleaner was going to arrive and he just kept saying she will be here soon.
I advised him that this was terrible service and we would rather go somewhere else and asked for a refund, he said no.
We left as we had no joy from him. He has kept the money.
Owner is patronising and rude and is only interested in getting his money .
The customer does not matter in this case.
- Acacia (10/5): Lovely, thank you for having us in your apartment. - Lovely property in a great location, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
- Olubunmi (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (6/5): Nice place but small things let it down - Newish appt Blinds falling off and dirty.
No toilet paper.
Wet washing left lying around and in wardrobe.
Washing machine full.of washing.
- Cal (7/5): Exactly what you’d expect for the price. - Great for the price, bit out of the way of everything but nothing a taxi couldn’t get us to for less than £10. Only issue is they said check in was 12pm so we got there for that time dead on as we had nearly 20 hours of travelling & when we arrived we was told we won’t get in til earliest 2pm due to it not being cleaned. Took me a while to found how to contact somebody as the apartment wouldn’t answer but when we was in we had no issues after.
- Olubunmi (10/5): Overall enjoyable experience - Location Noise from trains passing by every time
- Beth (8/5): Would definitely recommend as a place to stay if your going to manchester - spacious, clean, tidy, warm A bit too far from city centre
- Sachel (6/5): The place has potential, decoration and cleaning schedule could be better - The layout was nice The furnitures in the living room, e.g. the sofa was horrible, low and uncomfortable. The laundry was left hanging in the living room, the washing machine was still going and the box for the vacuum was left in the space aswell. Not very happy about that. I’m ignoring the fact that we had to wait over 2hrs for the clean up crew to come and clean the space before we could unpack even though check in was at 12pm. And also had to rush out as the cleaning crew were meant to come and clean up around 10am and no one turned up as we left around 11am
- Anthony (1/5): Bad -
- Karen (4/5): We booked for 5 people and there were only 4 beds made up! - Property was clean although it needed a paint freshen up. We booked for 5 people and there was no bedding for the sofa bed in the lounge. There were blinds missing from the windows in the lounge and there were only 3 coffee pods which didn’t fit the coffee machine! No milk or instant coffee either
- Nicola (8/5): Very good - The cleanliness of the property and the fact that we had a bed each. The property was lovely and warm and had plenty of space. Once my WiFi signal returned I did have communication with the host who was prompt in sending through information on how to enter.
It is a short journey in an Uber/Taxi into city and there is a bus no:33 that goes to Piccadilly. The fact that there was no tea/coffee & milk upon arrival. Some blinds in the lounge were not up at the windows. It didn't bother me as out all day and returned late in the evening. I did message the owner the following day at check out just incase he wasn't aware of this.
- James (6/5): Pleasant - The on-site carparking is great. What an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. I was kept waiting outside for over 50 minutes to try and get access to the building and then the apartment. I called three times over 40 minutes, and finally to be told someone would meet me in 2 minutes. After a further 10 minutes, I called again and was then called back from India (+91) to give me the door code and the key press code for the apartment door.
The whole apartment grounds are covered in litter. Even in the entrance hall. There are blinds missing in the lounge; the toilet seat is not fixed to the basin; the shower head is pathetic and it hits you as a fine mist (I couldn't adjust it) and there are three random flip-flops left in the hallway. The apartment is right next to the Railway Line in to Manchester, so don't expect a lie in, and I have no idea what country the satellite TV is coming from.
- Toddronson (8/5): Very good -
- Mukherjee (7/5): Good - Location, overall stay Sofa was not very comfortable. Nobody from the onsite care team attended. Afraid if there was any emergency.
- A (10/5): Value for money stay with family - The apartment was clean and had all necessities to make my stay comfortable. Access to kitchen appliances and washing machine dryer combo really helped staying as a family. Brilliant communication with the host Sanjeev and building manager Shareef to ensure all our needs were met. Location was great as it has great connections to all parts of Manchester by car.
- Aisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentin (1/5): Bad - The property is not at the location which you get from the Booking app, they moved the pin.
I was informed upon getting they keys by a message on what's app that I need to place a deposit. I received a stripe link to pay a deposit of 200 pounds. Bassically they lured us to get the keys first and then they told us about the deposit, but the booking was payed already via booking.com.
They entire property surrounding were full of garbage and it was dirty.
This is a complete scam, unfortunately we did not double check the location before on google maps.
We obviously cancelled the booking even if I did not a penny back. Lesson learned, if it seems to be too good it probably is.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed at the apartment for 3 days and we can say that it is very nice, cozy and clean. It really has a lot of space and is well equipped. It had everything that we needed in it. Special thanks to the manager who was available to us at all times and helped us a lot.
