• richard (8/5): Treating customer as VIP is rare now a days. - Business operator David is friendly, warm and welcoming. Unlike other ghost reception of hotels, he was physically present and lifting my luggage to upstairs. It was the best of the best hospitality I have received during my visit. There is no lift for sending luggage to upstairs. Toilet flushing power is not strong like western toilet.

Pedimos 2 almohadas mas y no hubo problema Muy agradecidos En general todo nos gustó, fue un poco incómodo la ducha, porque todo el baño es la ducha, quizás dejar una moda o algo.para secar el suelo después de una ducha.

• Héloïse (10/5): Everything was wonderful ! - Our stay was great due to multiple reasons. David the host, who speaks English, took care of us: he gave us advices and information about the city, booked an excursion for us, got my phone fixed. His wife cooks for the guests, and her food is excellent. The occidental restaurant managed by Chris is great as well, him and his waitress Stella were extremely nice and easy to talk to ! The room was very clean, huge and with a beautiful view of the river. This experience was amazing and one the highlights of our trip because we felt at home ! We will come back !

Έφτασα άριστη στο ξενοδοχείο, χρειαζόμουν περίθαλψη, άφησε όλες του τις δουλειές, με πήγε στο νοσοκομείο, έμεινε μαζί μου ώρες, κανόνισε τα πάντα. Επίσης με πήγε στο σιδηροδρομικο σταθμό γιανα βγάλω εισητηρια επειδή είχα πρόβλημα με την εφαρμογή στο κινητό μου. Αν ψαχνετε για πολυτέλεια, δεν θα την βρείτε εδώ, αλλά θα βρείτε μια αυθεντική ατμόσφαιρα, καθαριότητα, και όλες τις βασικές παροχές. Επίσης η αυλή στο πίσω μέρος του ξενοδοχείου που βλέπει στο ποταμι είναι γραφική. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ βολική, πολύ κοντά στο σιδηροδρομικο σταθμό και σε αξιοθέατα. Η γυναίκα του Davide μαγειρεύει εξαιρετικά. Θα το συνιστούσα ανεπιφύλακτα Όλα καλα

There's a great restaurant on site where you can get a tasty and affordable meal, especially if you're traveling with kids and are tired of Chinese food. The owner is amazing. Even if you're a simpleton who just came for one day and didn't have anything planned, he'll be there at midnight helping you find a tour for the next morning and then at 8 a.m. he'll be there to escort you to the tour bus. But the real bonus is when you find out on the bus that you paid even less than the local tourists. Nothing

• Roberta (10/5): - Accoglienza molto gentile, camera spaziosa e comoda, Ho passato una notte a Yangshuo e poi sono tornata e mi hanno dato la possibilità di lasciare il mio bagaglio grande, semplificandolo molto la vita. Servizio di lavanderia rapidissimo con bucato pulito e profumato. Accanto c’è un ristorante occidentale con ottimi hamburger che è stato molto utile nelle notti di pioggia quando non avevo voglia di uscire.

He made me feel at home. The room is confortable. Very good localisation : just 15min walk to the Moon pagoda. There are two very good restaurants at the hotel : One offering Chinese cuisine home made and very delicious. The other one offering western food : the best English breakfast I have ever had in China. And very good burgers too. The restaurant owner is very friendly and helpful. I loved the good vibes. I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing

• Theo (10/5): Great value, wonderful hosts! - Staying at the Lakeside inn was lovely. David was such a nice helpful guide, and really cared about the guests at the hotel. Overall a wonderful person. He was so helpful with the planning of my stay as well as picking me up from the train station. One morning when I woke up there was a bag of fruits as a gift outside my door. So sweet. The room was nice and tidy with a great view over the canal. Would definitely stay again! Nothing :)

• Rinat (8/5): - Хороший номер. На первом этаже столики с видом на реку внизу. До приезда обещали рассказать информацию по посещению реки Янцзы. Но по приезду предложили только тур за 500 юаней. Точной такой же мы нашли в 5 минутах от отеля в туристическом офисе за 368 юаней.
• Dominique (7/5): Ok for our short stay - This hotel was just a short 1-night stay for us. It was nice we could still check in late. The bed was ok! The room and the bathroom were a bit outdated and it was really cold when we arrived. The heater helped. Also we felt like the owner was a bit too pushy with booking the Li River cruise via the hotel. Eventually we booked ourselves via Trip which was cheaper and at a more convenient time for us.

• Erik (10/5): Perfect place with a warm hospitality - Perfekt place to stay in Guilin. The guesthouse is close to the railway station and in easy walk to elephant rock and other attractions. And especially worth to mention are the owners Chris and David, who seem to know everything and make you feel more than only welcome. We would like to have chatted more than one night with them. Unfortunatly we had to leave... A little bit cold in winter and the AC just warms a bit.

• Siu Kee (9/5): 象山区内清静的酒店 - 位于象山区市内，交通方便，由桂林站步行10分钟即抵。 房间面向河景，很清静。 酒店员工很帮忙，需要补充物品一通知便很快送上。 榻榻米床墊睡觉很舒服。 店主David 很友善热情，退房时还送我2斤砂糖桔，新年又收到他的 WhatsApp 问候。 附近大村阿贵米粉和铭记烧鸭便宜好吃。 没有电视机 没有电梯，行动不便者需留意（因旧楼房改建不能増设，但有需要员工可以帮助提行李上房间。） 房间内清洁程度可接受，家具及地板有灰尘，清洁有进步空间（因我习惯在房内赤腳）。

Ce n’est pas évident de se doucher dans le meme espace que les toilettes.

• Lenka (9/5): - Skvělá lokalita. 3 minuty na hlavní ulici, kde jsou obchody, restaurace, park, plavby lodi atd. Vlakové nádraží cca 12 minut. Pan domácí zařídil rychlou výměnu peněz. Oknem šla do pokoje zima. Ale bylo možné klimatizací si topit.
• R. (10/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich mit Blick auf den Fluss. Die Betten waren bequem - das Frühstück sehr lecker. David ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt Das Duschen ist etwas schwierig, da man das Bad dabei unter Wasser setzt. Das bedeutet, dass der der als zweites ins Bad geht dieses nass vorfindet.

• Orlando (1/5): Todo mal - Nada. El hotel estaba en obras y patas arriba. Nos buscamos otro hotel tras explicárselo al dueño y nos cobró el 50% de la noche. Culpa de ellos es llegar y ver el hotel patas arriba, el aire acondicionado casi no funciona y no se percibía limpio. Me parece muy mal ofrecer hospedarse en estas condiciones y encima cobrarnos por irnos.

В финале нашего визита получили приятный презент! Спасибо большое! Нас сначала ввела в ступор система включения бойлера. Без объяснения Дэвида не смогли разобраться. Но когда Дэвид прислал видео, как включить горячую воду, все сработало четко!

The hotel is basic and not expensive, which makes it very good value for money. The shower in the bathroom is only separated from the toilet with a curtain, but that is a detail.

L’hôtel est en travaux, ce serait bien de la signaler L’hôte David est gentil mais attention aux excursions qu’il propose. • Stéphanie (6/5): Ok for young adventurers on a budget - The rooms are big and beds are comfortable. You will be at a walking distance of the Elephant Hill. The host is very friendly and speaks English, which is rare in China. You can hear your room neighbours talking. The overall facilities look like a messy garage or storage unit. The shower head is right next to the toilet and sink without any division, so you just make a mess with water every time.
• Olga (8/5): - Lage nicht weit vom Bahnhof und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Hotelmanager David spricht Englisch und war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr bescheiden, dem Preis allerdings völlig angemessen. Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer schien nicht zu funktionieren. Bei über 30 Grad draußen, haben wir das Fenster aufgemacht. In der Nacht wegen Mücken leider kaum geschlafen.
