- Alia (10/5): Stunning place, views and location. We had an exceptional stay at Cedric house - highly recommend! - Our 3-week stay at Cedric House was amazing. The house was absolutely beautiful with views from every room. It was secluded, soo comfortable, clean, roomy, and wonderfully appointed. The views from the garden were exceptional and we could see the lake from afar and Soo much wildlife up close - birds of all sorts, kangaroos, koalas, bunnies, and even horses from over the fence! The garden is huge, so much room inside and outside for the kids to play. The beds were comfy and the rooms wonderful to stay in. The kids (2 and 4 years) loved their bunkbeds, and we all had so much fun as a family doing the 1500 piece puzzle provided!! We brought some little games for the kids and they had a lot of fun. It was a great location as well, we walked the 2kms or so to Mallacoota centre every day (boardwalks by the lake - so serene, and many lovely areas for fishing), and saw koalas and heaps of other wildlife on the way! We had an amazing stay and couldn't rate it highly enough. We hope to be back in the coming years for another relaxing holiday. We enjoyed pretty much every aspect of our stay! We would just recommend getting instructions to the house if checking in late, as the house is a bit hidden in what looks like a laneway when you first get there, and it's hard to make sense of it in the dark. Super easy to find after you've found it once. We also brought covers for the couches as we had small kids and didn't want them to stain the furniture. Bring slippers for indoors as the floors don't have carpets or rugs. Also, bring tea towels! But everything else we needed was provided :)

- Tony_1965 (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay at Cedric House, the property was spacious and well appointed down to a cheese knife in the cutlery draw. We loved the open space, quietness and the constant chatter of the birds. We were greeted each morning with a spectacular morning view of the sun rising over the water. Great location just a few minute's drive from the town centre, or a leisurely walk via the nearby boardwalk to take in the nearby waterway and fisherman. You could easily loose yourself for days. WiFi was excellent to stay connected when needed. We will be returning for sure Just a little tricky to find, but this added to the hidden aspect of the location
- Nicole (10/5): comfortable base for a family group, everything you need. - Great bedroom configuration so kids can be in bunks. Great family size lounge and dining table for 8. Good kitchen for family cooking including good sharp knives, plenty of bowls plates, heaps of cutlery, 4 slice toaster etc. Had some plastic tumblers as well as glasses ( to prevent breakage with children) and a dishwasher 😍
There was even a slowcooker which we used to make soup.
Loved the big peaceful backyard to relax, walk, or let the kids play.the 2 identical bathrooms good for big families or x2 groups.
Nice bath towels. There were some books and games for rainy or restful days. X2 fridges was great to have space for drinks in the small one and food in the other.
Wood heater was great, but normal split system in lounge also for those who find fires tricky.
Comfortable modern and clean. Someone came to mow lawn while we were there which was a bit disruptive and off putting when we were trying to enjoy the peace. One of our kids is frightened of loud noises.
The front door was a little tricky to find because you had to drive right in before you could tell if it was the right place.
Not close enough to the beach to walk there.
- Angelina (10/5): Perfect! - Perfect location with incredible views, John was super friendly and an amazing host :)
