- feri (4/5): Not a good place to stay - The property is clean; room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Firstly booking has breakfast included; which is the owner’s version of a continental breakfast. There is white bread and jam and honey and butter. I asked if there is any cheese; there answer was no; I asked if there was wholemeal bread again the answer was no. I was told that if I wanted anything else I could help myself with go to grocery store. This place is terrible with sound proofing; you can hear everything from next door cabin. Staff are very cold and uncooperative.

- Amos (9/5): Great view and serene stay. - The location was excellent, on the center of the town shops. However, the driveway was a little narrow and first turn into the property could see better signage. The rooms were generous and the communication prior to arrival was excellent. Greeted by the fantastic staff and the great room service staff in the morning was unexpected and nice. We saw a pair of kangaroos inside the compound at evening time! The driveway was a little narrow, i think of two cars met at the bend, experience will be required to navigate.

- Hillari (10/5): - Scenic views from the balcony, which can be seen from the bed through the big glass windows. The location is great, a short walk to the local pub. The room is exceptionally clean and breakfast (bread, cereal, jam, juice, milk, etc) is provided in the room upon arrival. The hot water pressure is also good. Easy check-in/out. There is also a BBQ site provided for the guests.

- Mark Herron (9/5): Enjoyed our stay! - A fantastic cabin with a wonderful view of Buchan's surrounding countryside, particularly from the balcony. Ideally located so as to explore Buchan and the Buchan Caves. Comfortable, we enjoyed our stay! The balcony with the view could be considered too close to the adjacent properties to feel totally relaxed.

Breakfast provisions were very good. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like providing wood and matches for the fire pit, and barbecue utensils with facility to wash up after cooking on the communal bbqs. Easy location to walk to Buchan Caves and the Buchan Caves Hotel.

Great shower, and the products were locally sourced. Bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows. Was great to be able to walk through the gate, across the paddock next door, to the pub for dinner. Kirsty and Paul, who run the motel, also run the pub, and were wonderful to chat to. We had both lunch and dinner at the pub. Food was excellent from Erin the chef. Nothing that we didn't like. One recommendation might be to screen the balconies between each unit.

- Jordan-Lee (10/5): Cozy family getaway. - We stayed in the Cambria Cottage right on Buchan Road, and it was soo convient the location! 30min walk to Buchan Caves and 5min walk to shops. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept on ever besides my own. Don't even get me started on the quality of the linen on the beds! Even the little things, towels and 2 different face washer towels (one for make-up removal the other for your usual use). Complimentary chocolate and chips, bottle of wine in the fridge, dressing gowns in the bedrooms. Both bed are king size as well. Our kids came along with us too they loved the little baskets of board games, books, wooden ten pin bowling. everything needed for cooking was all in the kitchen we did not have to shop for anything extra which is more than convenient as the closest coles/woolies/aldi is about a 40min drive in Lakes Entrance. Only little things tbh, part of the window in the bathroom is permanently open and we came in winter so the bathroom is ALWAYS cold and would flow into the rest of the cottage but we just closed the door to the laundry/bathroom and there wasn't problem, only if needing to fo in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. No shower door. Not a bad thing. Shower is huge can easily fit 3 adults but no actual shower door so idk something im not used to.
- Margaret (9/5): Very relaxing, and comfortable. - Despite the ongoing downpour (obviously outside your control), we spent a very comfortable 2 days, and managed to stay dry with the exception of our Site visit (also outside our control). As I mentioned to Kate the only problem was that the volume level on the TV could not be increased above a high whisper level. However, as we are more readers than TV watchers this was not a serious problem for us.

- Ree (8/5): Great Location - Small, well equipped room with sliding door onto verandah/deck with views over the township and hills beyond, bar fridge stocked ready for your very generous continental breakfast.(fruit, juice, cereal, toast, spreads, tea, coffee), modern, good sized bathroom, comfortable king bed, air con. Central to all Buchan has to offer. Vinyl flooring which was perfect for us as we were travelling with a guide dog, who was welcomed, no question. Rooms aren't soundproofed, so we heard our neighbours arrive after midnight chatting & showering etc

Beautifully renovated, with all the comforts you'd expect from a nice motel - including crisp white bedding, and gorgeous local products in the bathroom. The photos don't do the room justice! Also a nice (and considerately solar-light-lit) shortcut to the lovely local pub. Highly recommend! -

All the small things were though of.. nice breakfast options, amazing water pressure and we were lucky to have clear skies so we had a beautiful starry night to enjoy. Great selection of tea and coffee.

We loved the views from the motel and every much enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and of a good size, and included its own balcony looking on to the garden. Breakfast was generally good - though it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit also.

- Meeway (8/5): Great remote getaway back to nature and vintage Buchan township with modern comfy stay. - Mountain view, kangaroo visited front yard, monitor lizard seen at neighbourhood yard, close to caves, short walk to very basic town centre, great continental breakfast No tv stations at all, no internet on our mobile line but luckily motel wifi allowed us to stay connected during our stay.
