Clean, cosy and great value. Only slight problem if you wanted to go to the toilet in the night. You had to get dressed and use the communal shower/toilet block about 5-10 meters away.

• Lorna (10/5): Fantastic trip away for a few days peace - This is a great little site - very quiet time, a lovely river and woodland walk, and very clean caravan. Shampoo, body wash, washing up liquid, sponges etc all provided. Small touches that made my arrival less stressful eg two oven trays already covered with tinfoil, lights and heating on as a welcome. Bed was very comfy, and hot tub was a great temperature. Highly recommend.

The glamping pod was very clean and well equipped. Great value for money. The only small criticism I can think of was the mattress was very soft and could do with replacing maybe with a memory foam one.

You have to make up the beds on arrival, which wasn’t an issue, but the base sheets for the beds didn’t fit. It was as if they’d shrunk and we couldn’t physically get them over the corners of the mattress. Easily resolved and we were able to swap them at reception but might have been more of a pain if we’d realised out of hours. Otherwise a fabulous facility!

• Jj (10/5): Second visit - This is a gem of a place I was hear at the start of the month and couldn't wait to get back ,place is spotless ,we had a a silly issue it must have took 5 mins and a member of staff was down and sorted it (big dogs should be leashed not allowed to run about free) brilliant if your fishing ,ideal for bird watchers ,visited lots of places this comes tops for a quiet break. Showers are hot and powerful plus spotless ☺ Can't fault the place ,toilets and wash rooms are even hot 🔥

Not one thing the toilets are roasting the water pressure is fantastic honestly can not find one fault in this wee trophy 🏆

• Susannah (10/5): Luxury Lodge - We had the luxury lodge 3 with the hot tub and the setting was fabulous! Just at the edge of the river and it was so tranquil to sit in the hot tub listening to the river bubbling away! The staff were great and very accommodating as we arrived later then the check-in and they were so helpful. They also came to the rescue when I lost the back of my earring behind a fixed cabinet! Lodge was clean, beds comfy, heating was on and it was warm on arrival, fully equipped kitchen, essentials for dishwasher/washer, towels etc, salt/pepper & tea and coffee. The kids loved it and were in and out the hot tub after skiing for the week! There wasn't anything I could fault!

It was spotlessly clean and the sofa furnishings were of good quality. Gas appliances and well stocked with utensils. Park was very quiet wish we had been able to stay longer. Shower pressure was terrible but other than that can’t complain. Think you would struggle with 6 adults as it is small but it was just the two of us so it was fine.

That we had to the off the beddings, leave the house at 10am. Check out should be at 11am. as you have to clean the house, take off your bins and take off the bedding.

Nothing really apart from not lots to do on the camp. Best used as a base for exploring the area. Fridge was leaking when we arrived but the staff came with towels to clean it up.
