Guest Reviews
- Michaela (8/5): Lovely little property, perfect for a weekend by the sea. - Really lovely little property by the sea. Exactly as described, perfect for 1-2 people and a dog. Very cosy and comfortable, had everything you needed and great location. Super quiet, has its own entrance so really private and felt safe which was lovely. Everything was surface level clean, but the property could have done with a deep clean. This didn’t interfere with my stay, but worth mentioning. Also broken bath panel could be dangerous.
- Nicola (10/5): Great flat for a couple or solo… so comfortable and well presented.. thank you Tinah and Sean. - Secure car parking, super clean flat, warm and comfy throughout. Owners were friendly and had written a very amusing guide to all aspects in the flat and recommendations and walks outlined if you wanted ideas.
Good WiFi and quality of bedding and furnishings was high end .., tastefully decorated. Wonderfully positioned place at the edge of the village. Nothing
- Gary (10/5): - Very friendly ideal location lovely sea view to wake up to out of bedroom window Only stopped two nights
- Justine (7/5): Cosy spot for a weekend away. -
- Sue (8/5): - Comfortable warm apartment with parking to escape the recent storms and rain. Comfortable bed and kitchen had everything we needed.

- Sue (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - The flat was really well equipped and comfortable. The bed was brilliant. We love to cook and there was everything we needed. Stoke Fleming is a pretty village with a great pub- exceptionally friendly. Best of all, it’s in a great location in walking distance of Blackpool Sands and the Coast Path. We visited Dartmouth and Brixham- in general a wonderful weekend.

- Keith (9/5): Lovely few days away - There location was very central to suit our travelling needs. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. A lovely little place to stay. Couldn't fault it. Thank you Can't think of anything that we didn't like about it.
- James (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Most impressive accomadtion with stunning views in an idyllic location - Such an amazing place the sunrise and sunset from the bedroom window over the ocean was incredible, the host are so welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble, so informative.. I will come back for my snickers if you know you know xx Nothing

- Mafalda (4/5): Disappointing, lacking maintenance - Nice location within driving distance to two lovely beaches. Walking distance to cute village with shop, restaurant and pub.
Very comfortable king size bed. The landlady “forgot” to tell us there was noisy construction work taking place just below our apartment prior to our arrival. Had we been aware we wouldn’t have stayed there.
Also lacks maintenance: broken toilet flush (known issue apparently since Summer), blackout blind not installed (had to put it up ourselves), broken table in living room, dishwasher not attached so falls forward every time you open it.
Sea views are from bedroom only - living room is dark and not very comfortable.
- Sally (10/5): Seaview break - Very cozy and comfortable. Clean with good facilities. Great views of the sea from the bedroom. Quiet rural position. Owners were very pleasant and welcoming. Good location with parking but close enough to the beach and local pub to walk.
- Amelia (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Great value for money. A lovely place to return to after a long coastal walk. All home comforts provided - Warm and cosy in an excellent location. Liked everything about it.
- Deirdre (10/5): Gorgeous little bolthole in a beautiful part of the world - Beautiful location -opposite a field of sheep and with a marvellous view of the sea. Very quiet and tranquil and super comfy beds, and loads and loads of hot water. What more could you want? Nothing, it was all lovely.
- Anna (10/5): Comfortable stay in beautiful location. - Good size, well equiped, very comfortable bed plus good extra sofa bed, nice cottage feel and although I wasn’t there for that reason, amazing views and location. October weather wasn’t on our side😂
- Stella (9/5): Home away from home - Ideally situated just up the road from the beautiful Blackpool Sands beach. The property was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Tinah and Shaun were very welcoming also. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other couples.
- Monique (10/5): - Great location just a few minutes drive from the beach ( pay car park) and a short walk to the local pub and Italian restaurant. Peaceful with amazing views from the bedroom in the mornings , bed sofa was comfortable. Kids enjoyed woodlands theme park on the overcast days otherwise spent every day at the beach which was beautiful. Hosts were absolutely lovely and the kids are insisting we come again :) Paying for parking at the beach can add up when you’re there every day but still worth it as it doesn’t seem that safe of a road to walk / quite steep to get back up if your carting a lot with you
- Grzegorz (9/5): - See view from window is great. Quiet place sticky kitchen countertops and dirty windows
- Kirsten (5/5): A place to rest your head -
- Hangover (8/5): Great stay, good location to tour the area. - Location, host, price Could not find DVD player but it was not a big issue at all.
- Jo (9/5): Relaxing stay with fantastic views. - Excellent location, fantastic view from bedroom.Area nice and quiet.Pub and restaurant with in walking distance. Little freezer in fridge would be good. Daughter used sofa bed for one night, extra topper or maybe better quality sofa bed needed for future.

Guter Essenmöglichkeiten im Ort
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - It was fantastic. The view, the beach around the corner, the owners, the amenities. It couldn't be better. Tinah and Sean are wonderful hosts, always available to help and offer tips for excursions. We'll definitely be back.
- Debra (10/5): We will be back if there is space x - Lovely property plenty of space for the two of us, Tinah had thought of everything. Stunning views from the bedroom and even on the hottest weekend of the year we had a lovely breeze which made sleeping easy. The bed was so comfortable I need to buy the same mattress. A lovely welcome from the owners who were knowledgeable about the area and gave some lovely tips on where was good to eat. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to friends Nothing apart from we had to leave as only a weekend break 😟

- Caroline (8/5): Great for our short break. - It was great for our short break and the view from the bedroom was fantastic The TV didn’t work unless you wiggled the aerial lead. The host pointed out issues with the property which could be easily fixed. eg front door, toilet and blind

Tinah and Sean are incredibly welcoming and gave great advice on the best local ice cream! The property was very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. We loved being able to walk down to Blackpool sands, the village is lovely and there is so much to do in the local area. Nothing.
- Pradeep (8/5): Great - Gorgeous location
Walking distance to Blackpool sands
Great views from the apartment
Lovely hosts
- Beccalouise (8/5): Was fabulous and was the break that was needed - Loved location, great value for money. Really nice set up. Liked we could make our own food. View from room. We defo recommend and would stay again. Great area beach really close. Tv very dated, only toilet roll for the whole weekend. No tv in bedroom. Was asked to get more towels for the other holiday room and they tried to knock when we were napping. Maybe some coffee and tea and long life milk.
- Saffron (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (10/5): Really enjoyed our short stay, local pub very good and beach within walking distance. - Accommodation was excellent, as described and beautifully clean. Kitchen was very well equipped, bed very comfortable. We had our lab with us and he settled in very quickly.
Hosts were very accommodating, ensured we had all we needed, responded to questions before we arrived and had provided a very comprehensive and amusing visitors book to help us plan our time. TV took a while to fire up but when it did it was fine.
- Serah (10/5): Great location, nice welcome and stunning views to watch sunrise/sunset - We stayed for a local family wedding so didn’t get the chance to use the accom to the full. We did really enjoy the view and location. Perfect for exploring the local area and not far from Dartmouth. Bed was very comfortable and lovely bedding. Plenty of space for 2. All good. Maybe a pint of milk in the fridge would be good for arrival cup of tea :)
- Helen (10/5): Wonderful and relaxing stay in superb location - lovely hosts made this a great trip - Tina was on site when I arrived and she kindly took me to the apartment and let me in. She then handed over the keys and I settled into a lovely home away from home. N/A

The location is well served by public transport (bus #93) and has good, friendly local services (pub/restaurant/shop). The location was good for accessing the Coast Path. Everything about the property was fine. Caution needs to be taken when accessing the village on foot (around 1/4 mile) as the road has no footway for pedestrians.

- Myra (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (9/5): Loved Seaview Nest and would definitely stay again. - The hosts were very welcoming and the apartment was very tidy and well equipped. The location was superb with just a short drive to Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth.
We were lucky with the weather but I still think the stay would have exceeded our expectations.
Bed was extremely comfortable and the view from it was breathtaking. Had a slight issue when we had no internet on the first morning and when we left we could not find the recycling bins.

Difficult location to find and communication poor with host. Did not answer phone and messages prior to and during stay and no check in instructions sent.

- Anna (10/5): Everything was great, so clean and comfortable. Tina’s very helpful and friendly - Very clean and comfortable . All lovely All good
- Neil (7/5): Weekend Break - Proximity to beaches. Very comfortable large bed. Good, powerful shower over the bath. Very clean. The information on Booking.com for the listing stated that pets were welcome and there were no extra charges for dogs. The female host/owner greeted us and said she wasn't expecting us to have brought dogs and that she only allows 1 medium sized dog and charges an extra £30. Although our dogs would probably be classed as medium-large we felt there was plenty of room to accommodate the two of them comfortably as the property and rooms were a decent size.
We were only there for 2 nights and both myself and my husband felt uncomfortable by a few comments that were made during our stay regarding our dogs. My husband was told that she was concerned about new cream/beige carpets. However, regardless of the size of dog, a small dog is just as likely to make marks on a carpet. I would perhaps suggest a laminate or wooden flooring with a rug in the lounge area to avoid this happening and for ease of cleaning. I did show the owner the listing on Booking.com which clearly stated that there was no extra charge for pets and there was also nothing to state that only 1 dog was permitted.
The apartment adjoins and is part of the owners house but is self contained with it's own private entrance. Unfortunately the soundproofing wasn't great and our youngest dog does get a bit excited when staying somewhere new and was playing with our older dog which obviously sounded down below and was a bit noisy for the owner. However, this works both ways and noise from their property travelled up to us. Not an issue for us but we could hear talking etc at different times of the day. The parking is also on the owners drive which could be an issue for some. You have to walk around the side of the property in the road and then up several steps to access the apartment.
