Carlos (4/5): - La ubicación delante de la playa La electricidad por la noche era con baterías que hacían ruido y se gastaba. Además había ratones en las habitaciones. Para colmo, llegar y salir del lodge es muy difícil porque dependes de una pontona para cruzar un canal y de las motos que te llevan por la playa.
Jabbi (10/5): Unterkunft in paradiesischer Lage mit herzlichem Personal - Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders der Sohn des Besitzers, Karamba, hat auch ganz viel Zeit für meinen Aohn genommen und wirklich schön mit ihm gespielt. Außerdem ist sie Lage absolut unschlagbar. Wir konnten das Meeresrauschen aus unserem Zimmer heraus hören. Der Strand ist schön ruhig und ganz und gar nicht überlaufen. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es keine Möglichkeit das Handy zu laden, Strom funktioniert nur im Haupthaus.
Francisco (7/5): Excellent beach to disconnect from all, basic setting. - Excellent location, staff were helpful. Could accommodate extra wishes (birthday cake, drum group, barbecue). Beach and walks excellent. No electricity at rooms for plugging in items. Light bulb working with individual solar panel. No fan in the room, can be hot inside if you close windows. Low water pressure for toilet and shower.
Annhonyme (5/5): Great setting and staff, but expensive transfer price - -Beach setting -Friendly staff -Transfer for 5-10 minutes by car is over expensive (compared to local taxi) even after negotiating, you have no choice but to take this transfer (or by motorbike) after booking.
Kinga (9/5): amazing place to relax and reconnect with nature - the location is amazing, remote, tranquil, far from hustle and bustle of big towns, the lodge stands literally on the beach, only few meters from the sea. it's a simple place but perfect to unwind, relax and reconnect with nature. the staff of the lodge was very friendly and polite, making sure we got everything we needed, food was delicious. the sunset and sunrise on the beach were breathtaking. amazing place and amazing people, the highlight of the trip to gambia ♥️ facilities in the room could be to a higher standard, some things were broken (toilet, sink). wi-fi was not working majority of the time. the noise of passing motorcycles was a bit annoying. the power comes from solar panels so there may be limited light available in the evening (torch or headlight may be handy)

Piotr (7/5): Lovely place, I want to come back there. - Very nice, quiet place over the ocean, for nature lovers. Beautyfull, empty beach. Nature around, birds, bush. Nice, friendly personel. No boring "sellers" around. "Stop point" for motor bikes of local villagers is close to the object, which makes some noise at specific time (related to high/low tides at the beach). Fortunately, they are not invasive.

Elisabeth (10/5): All in all our stay at Jinack lodge was amazing and we would recommend to go there and experience this nice vibe of the - Staying at Jinack lodge was a beautiful experience which made our whole vacation in Gambia really nice. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. The food is great as well. We loved the island so much that we even came here twice during our vacation. It is very peaceful and quiet, the whole length of the beach is lonely and beautiful. also we liked that there are a lot of animals strolling around. It is a bit difficult to get there by raft and moto taxi but with the help by locals it’s fine and definitely an experience. The lodges look like in the pictures so they have everything you need but are not the best standard which was fine for us.
Kevin (10/5): A hidden paradise - Directly on the kilometer long beach. Perfect bathing conditions (slightly sloping, no currents, no rocks, no dangerous fish/jellyfish, etc.). Free sunbeds. Super nice staff. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner (also vegetarian if desired). The huts are large and comfortable including large mosquito nets. All huts are solar powered. ps. They have German Beer and Wine from South Africa :) It's a hidden paradise, which means an adventurous journey by motorbike or jeep - but Amadou will pick you up from Barra. The transfer went smoothly. Just ask him for a pick up. There is no possibility to shop in the immediate vicinity. But the team will get you everything you need to be happy. Who wants to be on the internet 24/7; it's the wrong address for him/her. It's solar powered. Electricity is precious and internet is only available during the day.
