Guest Reviews
- Rachel (7/5): Good value for money - Location, space, cleanliness WiFi didn’t work
- Dawn (8/5): Great little hidden gem! - Lovely self contained accommodation and the garden area was superb.
We had everything we needed and it was great for the dog.
It was about 15/20 minutes from pier and although no dedicated parking there was plenty of road parking available right by the passage way leading to the accommodation.
Phil was great with communication and detailed everything we needed prior to our stay. Unfortunately the bin lid was broken so had to keep it open but apart from that everything was working.
I would advise to take own bedding if you are taking a dog which we did, as the bedding was white so we just put ours over the top but that isn't a complaint by any means just a suggestion.
- Beverly (10/5): - It was peaceful, spotless and appliances easy to use. I would certainly stay here again Wasn't nothing to dislike.
- Maddie (6/5): - Loved the garden set up outside was lovely when it was sunny and was lovely of an evening all lit up Double bed had a big dip in the mattress so was extremely uncomfortable, also the sofa bed was like lying on the floor and because it was leather it was cold and the bedding sheets kept slipping off , big sky lights in the living room meant the room was bright when the sun came up first thing.

- Bradley (9/5): Easter stay - Perfect stay with young toddler and dog. Great outdoor area, very clean, WiFi good, heating good and easy to use. Only slight downside is the access to the property is through the alleyway, but we were lucky enough to be able to park (for free) as close as we could so it was OK for us.

- Andrea (9/5): - The actual apartment is fantastic great size lovely outdoor space, comfortable.
Great kitchens and bathroom.
A good range of cooking utensils.
Takes pets, lots of space In the apartment.
Location in relation to Llandudno and Craig y Don fantastic.
Nearby shops.
All clean,as somewhere to stay it's great once you are in it's cosy and warm.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again but the alley way is off putting. The main downside is the back alleyway approach from the road to the property.
If arriving at night especially in winter months you will need a torch.
It is a back alley, uneven with varying amounts of detritus on the floor.
We stayed December, quite a bit of glass around and drain overflow stuff so had to be careful with the dogs.
It is self catering so you do need to bring toiletries shower gel etc.
There were no tea towels or oven gloves I would have thought at least oven gloves would be provided.
Also only one wine glass??
Maybe inventory check would be good.

- Vivien (10/5): Very nice place -
- Brendan (8/5): The Hideaway, was ! - Accommodation great,But very very cold for time of year, could have done with heating on to welcome us,, The approach and outside area,Back Alley, Dark,Dirty and scary, Not the fault of the owner, but might want to put a little note in the Description, for future visitors, No view but i gathered that, Not fully Descriptive about location.
- Helen (10/5): Perfect, relaxing, cosy can’t wait to return - Beautiful decor, nice and private cozy warm everything you need for a lovely staycation x It’s was all perfect
- Jason (10/5): will be back no doubt - exactly what you want nice space modern feel private garden enclosed so dog was happy
local area only 5 mins walk beach front same
all the take ways and cafe you require , small micro brewery 2 mins very quaint place from apartment , venue cymru 5 mins walk
all
on all excellent for what we required thank you nothing , maybe the access road to it and the fact our car was parked in a side street away from the apartment
- Nicholas Allan (9/5): Light and bright hideaway. - The Hideaway was great for us. It is very quiet and peaceful, had a reasonably well equipped kitchen and was warm and cosy when the weather was poor. The little garden was lovely, although we were not able to get the most from it due to the weather at the time. It does have a few windows overlooking, but we didn't find that too imposing. The location is away from the pier and main street, about a 25 minute walk so this may not suit everyone, but it does mean the parking is free and unrestricted which is great. There isn't much to complain about, it was a lovely stay. The entrance via two alleys is a little bit tricky to find and means you need to carry luggage in. There were a couple of drains in the alley which it seemed a nearby business had thrown some mucky water or something into which was a bit unpleasant when accessing the property (no problem once inside though). We booked the stay for four people and it was a little bit tight, there is only two dining chairs with a small table, and a three seater sofa. The place would be perfect for a couple.

- Lisa-Jayne (6/5): - The enclosed garden was ideal for dogs The bed wasn't comfy and the pillows were very flat!
No drawers to put clothes in.
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Rachel McCaffer (9/5): - The hideaway was very clean with everything you need location of the property is not the best location but once in it is a beautiful little accommodation
- Lindz (10/5): Really easy set up with key safe. Clean. Cute - It was incredible quite, very discrete. A great base, clean, tidy, beautiful bed linen and thick towels. Nice little back garden. Our friends who where sharing a house at the end of the street where jealous how up together our property was compared to their tired town houses.
Also we arrived at a little earlier and we were able to check in 30 mins earlier.
Cutlery was tidy, fast cooking oven, co-operative nearby, BM bargain a 10min walk. All went well.
Off street parking nearby free Our SUV was unable to fit down the back alley which it’s nestled in so loading car meant we had to do a few trips. So smaller car would have been easier to navigate tight old lanes

- Sabina Khanam (9/5): Great… would miss you tbh - Nice specious and the garden made it more likeable. The owner is a really good and responsive. I found pet hair all over the couch pillows. Could have been a bit more cleaner. And a big mirror please. Couldn’t see how I looked on my outfit bcz there is one mirror to see the face only!
- Gemma (10/5): Lovely weekend in Llandudno at the hideaway - Great location, quieter end of Llandudno but still walking distance to everything. Plenty of shops etc nearby too. Very modern and tastefully decorated and equiped with everything needed for a nice stay
- Nigel (8/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely property in a good location. - The property was conveniently located within walking distance of the shopping outlet and town.
Free parking on the roadside was easy to find nearby.
The property was modern and clean with excellent facilities. In particular, my wife admired the coordinated furniture, fittings and décor.
The bathroom was lovely and clean and included a walk-in shower.
Access from the patio doors was to a secure area with artificial grass and a table with chairs. The access was via an irregular surfaced alleyway and whilst this was of no concern during our stay, I wonder what it would be like in the dark or in bad weather.
Again, whilst this did not apply during our stay, I wonder where we could have placed wet clothing had it rained whilst we were there.
- Linda (3/5): Poor - Spacious bathroom Having to walk down two gully ways to the entrance to the property felt extremely vulnerable/ not safe
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The Hideaway is in a brilliant location and has all the facilities we needed. The private enclosed garden was brilliant for our dog. We would definitely stay here again 😊 Nothing
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good -
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place 15min walk from train station everything you need really good shower, lovely outside space.
Co op 2mins away and the chinese is fab so is the pizza place. Can not wait to return.
Thank you for a lovely stay
- Hayeskathleen (8/5): Very good - The access along 2 passageways, one of which had dumped rubbish.
- Byron (9/5): Excellent property, definately stay again - Just needed a clean,,very little to not like,,beautiful decor and high finish
- Vicki (10/5): Definitely recommend 👌 - Home from home and very modern. Everything we needed for a self catering apartment. All towels and bedding provided and WiFi included. The garden is beautiful and great for dogs. We had a great stay and Phil was a great host. . Another mirror would be great for ladies doing their hair as the only one is in the bathroom.
- Louise (10/5): Would stay again. - Lovely private garden, great facilities and close to amenities.
- Elaine (8/5): Hone from home and felt so comfortable here. Really enjoyed it and would recommend. - The property is a very clean and well appointed holiday let. Amazing shower with plenty of towels. All you could need in the kitchen. Great little sun trap garden. A stones throw from shops and the beach.
- Julie (4/5): Disappointing - On our arrival at the hideaway i was very disappointed how far we had to walk down the back allies very uneven . When we got into the building, yes, there was clean bedding and towels but considering the last couple had only just left about 5 hours before didn't look like it had been cleaned at all skirting boards full of dust black bin and toilet brush covered in dust hairs inside toilet and the sink .Rang the owner and told him and l said that l didn't really want to stay his attitude was it's up to you he sent a cleaner round but clear wasn't really good at her job also it advert say private garden and yes private on floor level put over looked by a balcony on the back of the house where the hideaway is and as they came outside you could clearly hear there conversation so not private at all and if there were a fire in one of the houses in the back alley you could be able to escape from that building also no home touch like soap to wash hands after visiting the toilet no instruction how to use electrical items no visitors information and no visitor comments book may be a new build very very basic think some health and safety issues would never go back
- Beverley (8/5): Very good - Suited our needs with a small dog Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the garden but weather wernt brill, if weather was nice the garden was great for our dogs
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Tyran (9/5): Lovely apartment - Lovely will be returning
- Md (7/5): Good - Clean, well furnished kitchen. Would have been great if you could provide cleaning stuffs like vac cleaner, dish washing liquids- brush, second hand wash in kitchen.
- Vivienne (10/5): Exceptional - Our only thoughts would be a brush and dust pan to keep the floor clean ,and some dish washing liquid .
We loved the decor and the outdoor space .thank you .
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Great for the two of us - Nice little place to stay, well equipped everything you need, just have to park round corner
- Amaladas (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Great place with a few minor niggles. - The host was very responsive and very kindly agreed to my request for a late check out. The apartment is very nicely decorated internally and generally the kitchen is very well provisioned with utensils and crockery.TV was great with Sky TV et al. The outside space is great too. Although we didn't make use of the outdoor dining area due to time of year I'm sure it would be a great bonus in the summer months. Great for our dog though, as it's completely enclosed and secure. It's within walking distance to a range of shops and supermarkets but further from Llandudno centre that I had realised. Not a problem for us as we like walking. Would I stay again if it was available, absolutely. No coffee pot, coffee machine, or coffee, which is surprising, as previously mentioned the kitchen is very well provisioned. No basics supplied at all, also no tea towels which was a bit of a nuisance . If you are planning a visit you will need to bring your own tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper etc.. The shower tray obviously installed the wrong way round making it impossible to have a shower without water all over the bathroom floor. The rug in the living room did not look like it had been properly cleaned in some time as it was full of various debris. Given the type of synthetic material its made of I'm not sure it's the easiest to clean/maintain nor the best in an apartment where pets are welcome.
- Warren (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place to stay really clean modern only a ten minute walk along the sea front to main bars and restaurants
- Bobby (10/5): Lovely Hideaway - Nice well presented property, great outdoor area which we even managed to make good use of even in March. Dog friendly and a host that supplied the little extras. Will definitely be back. Having to leave!
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Cassandra (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (9/5): Superb - Lovely and clean. Could do with another chair or a couple more stools round the table as we were a family of 4 The sofa bed is hard.
- Tom (10/5): Fantastic Stay at The Hideaway - We had an amazing time at The Hideaway in Llandudno! The property was beautifully designed, with a fantastic kitchen where we enjoyed cooking and dining. The bedroom and bathroom were both lovely and comfortable, and the amenities throughout the stay were excellent. Though we didn’t get to spend much time in the courtyard, it was still a wonderful space. Overall, a perfect stay—we’d highly recommend it!
- Sandra (10/5): The Hideaway - This property had everything we needed for our weekend in Llandudno, found the property very easily, free parking on the street just by the walk way. Perfect private garden for the dog and us. Everything was clean and tidy, very modern. Great communication with owner after booking. Great stay, would definitely book again. Nothing we didn't like but would have preferred a slightly later check out, 11am would be ideal.
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful accommodation, needs another seat in the front room We liked it all
- Varkojis (10/5): Exceptional - Nice apartment evening nice Evening
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The place was nicely furnished, the bed was SO COMFY, Large shower, fully equipped kitchen, the garden is a big space and feels very private. Location is great as it's only a 10 mins walk into the main town, there is a coop right around the corner and the beach/promenade is within a 3 minute walk. I'll definitely come back!
- Stuart (9/5): Perfect - Beautiful property, well presented.
I believe we were the first to stay in this property, and what a privilege it was.
The location for us was perfect, as we were over for the weekend visiting my mum who lives a 2 minute walk away in Mostyn Avenue. I will definitely recommend this property to family that come to visit my mum.
The only downside to the property was that access is down an alleyway, but it was a well lit alleyway and very quiet. The only downside to the property was that access is down an alleyway, but it was a well lit alleyway and very quiet.
